This game is hilarious. Its like cards against humanity but does not limit you to a deck of cards. The customization, though limited before making purchases, is incredible and extensive. The emotes are so fun! We love the ability to react to winners and the golden roses AND tomatoes both make us feel appreciated (either people thinking Im clever or the boos from our puns. They both fuel me). Also the new voting system is SO much better than the old way. The daily question is so fun and engaging. Our only issue is it is dependent on people playing. Which is why Im writing this. Anyone reading: THIS GAME IS AMAZING! You will not regret the hours youll put into it. Please download it so we have more people to play with!

It was a really fun game and we enjoyed it a lot, but eventually it stopped working. We would go to play, we would press find public game, and it wouldnt stop loading for over 15 minutes.
So we saw this game on YouTube like most of us (probably) but when we have been playing as a guest we havent been able to join a game idk if its the game, our internet, or just our location (its our speculation) if we could get a response or anything that would be helpful.
The game is great but some guy was being really racist and homophobic but its still a great game.
Good game but got boring over time. Replay-ability is high but you dont have much fun without friends playing with you.
While the last update fixed a lot, this game has a long way to go. It certainly doesnt help that it feels like even the creators have given up on this game. (They havent even bothered to put a new daily question in days!) Theres a few suggestions we have. Having new questions is great, but we think we need entirely new categories too. We dont mean replace the ones we have, just add three or four new ones. With more categories, means more possible questions, and more possible answers. We also believe this game would benefit from more personal questions. Instead of having fill-in-the-blank type questions with very specific prompts, the questions could be more open-ended. (For example, right about a time you were embarrassed). That way, we get more creative answers than among us or your mom. Also, good lord, let us unsubmit answers! Im tired of looking stupid cause of typos, or not being able to change our a joke to a better one! Please, this is so annoying! Im really rooting for this game, and we really think making these changes would help it do well! It has so much potential, its just a matter of putting the love and care in to help get it there.
Its definitely a great idea and enjoyable game (when it runs properly, anyway) but there are so many glitches that irk us to no us and dont seem to be getting fixed. For one, we’ve been stuck on the same daily question for the past week – it gives us the option to vote for the final round but the final round never seems to end. Secondly, when submitting a question itll delete all but a few words from it. So if we answer it was dads fault it would only say it was (not very funny). We can tell this issue also plagues many of the users we wind up with on public lobbies. We can see so much greatness in this game, we really hope these get resolved.
Its mostly harmless, the amount of ads are annoying, and there isnt enough people to actually warrant any public matches. If your looking for a party game similar to this, try Use Your Words, it may not be free, but is worth the price IMO.
We like the game but OH MY GOD nobody is online! We spent 15 minutes trying to get into a match with no avail.
Not sure if its just us but the public match making doesnt work whatsoever. We hope they fix it because we really want to play.
We cant tell you how excited we were to support jack by playing his game so you can assume the emotion we felt when we realized this game was honestly unsatisfactory and absolutely boring and horribly executed. Im always stumbling into the same prompts over and over again leaving us no room to actually play anything fun anymore. Its just not fun when you have seen the same junk over and over and yet you have to create a whole different thing for something that is honestly useless. This is also if you can even get into a round as you might as well read a dictionary to its fullest extent without ever getting in a round. The game has potential but its badly executed. Also most of the player base is either kids or just toxic people who either always want to make sex or shrek or edgy jokes to be funny for a game called be funny now its not funny at all having kids drawing peens and shreks most of the time. We honestly reccomend you just play the steam version as it has no ads and is free to play without a lot of some of the inconveniences as this version. We would rather play cards against humanity than this garbage.
We honestly love this game! It is so fun, when it will load. Everything you do takes minimum 30 seconds to load. You wanna find a public game? Oh yea…. About that…. You okay with waiting about 10 minutes?? The questions and people on there are great, but overall the long time to load kinda deteriorates the fun of the game.

We played this game when it first released, and the original voting system sorta felt made to make other players feel bad unless they had a specific sort of humor. BUT, the new system is fantastic! It makes it much easier to have a good time and feel funny, and its a lot harder to dog on someone with the anonymity. The artstyle is unique and fun and the game overall has improved so much.
The new update really did fix everything that bugged us with 1.0. Multiplayer has worked just fine, we haven’t encountered any bugs, and we love the new voting system! Thank you Mr. Films!
We absolutely love this game, and we think there are some great clothing options. However, we wish that you could see all the clothing only with lock symbols. You wouldnt have to change the shop, just allow people to know all that can be bought so that they can plan outfit combos and look for specific things in the shop.
Wow, this game went from being unplayable to actually good with just a few smart changes! Though its not quite time to rest on your laurels. There are still some serious bugs that interfere with gameplay. For example, during some games we are unable to do emotes or give reactions no matter what we do. We are also unable to see the times during tiebreakers whenever this happens. Only restarting the app seems to fix this. Twice today we’ve had the gift at the end of a match refuse to open, forcing us to exit out of the app. Some other quality of life improvements that would be great to have down the line: 1. Add the ability to zoom in on drawings (or maybe just make the canvas a little larger). 2. Allow larger public games to be hosted to make it more engaging for everyone (maybe shoot for 7-10 on AVERAGE; having less than 5 is not particularly fun, and people often leave mid-way for one reason or another). On that same topic, the waiting rooms countdown timer should not start if there are fewer than three people there. 3. If only two people are left playing a game, terminate the game immediately and give the remaining players their rewards. The current behavior for this case feels a bit buggy. 4. Streamline the voting process. Voting should always end immediately when everyone has voted. Cut out the awkward pause before the cane-pull animation starts, and speed up the tie-breaker animation (especially at the end where the losers clock falls away). The less unnecessary waiting the better. 5. Missing votes should be split half-and-half between the two answers. Currently the optimal strategy is to not vote at all, letting your opponents give you points without giving any back to them. This encourages people to run out the clock and waste even more time. Splitting the vote could also be its own option, as we know we’ve wanted to do that a good few times, though we could see this interfering with the games vision. 6. Give a more obvious audio cue to indicate to idle users when voting/answering time is over; maybe just a simple ding! Or perhaps something flashier. Not everyone will be staring at their phones while waiting for others to finish. 7. Create public lobbies, not just public games. Allow people to stay with the same group after a match ends. This one is a no-brainer for increasing retention. If you find a good group, youll want to stick with them. Simple as that. 8. Reduce end celebration time to around 10 or 15 seconds. Youll find that most people leave the room by then. Assuming you implement #7: the default behavior should be to rejoin the lobby once celebration time is up; be sure to add a second, larger button by the exit button that allows people to rejoin the lobby immediately. 9. Most importantly, MAKE MORE PROMPTS ALL THE TIME FOREVER. Seriously. Good creative prompts are the lifeblood of this game. Dont take that for granted. New categories, new ideas, nonstop. You havent nearly exhausted the possibilities for great drawing prompts, or find-the-question-to-the-answer prompts, or gamer prompts, or even acronyms. A Finish The Story or What Happens Next? Prompt category would be right at home with the current selection, and offer lots of creative wiggle-room for prompt-crafting. And maybe you could do a Twist our Words category that samples famous quotes, because there are an ungodly amount of memorable quotes to pull from. (i.e. Four score and seven years ago, {my father had an affair with that godforsaken Dennys waitress.} – Abraham Lincoln) 10. Steer away from making super topical prompts in general, as they can be alienating to users who dont get it. And if you do use them be sure to remove them once they become dated. (Also thats more than enough Batman prompts you nerds LOL). 11. The daily questions voting system needs some ironing out. If you want people to actually vote and watch the ads more, first of all give them more votes per ad watched. 3 votes to start is fine, but only 3 votes per ad is not a great incentive. Maybe 6 or 9? Second, get rid of the 6-hour cooldown period because frankly that makes no sense. If someone wants to vote and watch ads, let them! And finally, its not clear what happens to your answers in the case where you only vote on 2/3 matchups and then exit out. If those two answers are counted, then that means theres a loophole which lets people vote infinitely without watching ads. If theyre not counted, people should be notified that their answers will be discarded when they exit. Thats just good practice. Overall we’ve had a blast with the app and would definitely recommend it to others. As long as you stay committed to improving the app, youve got something great on your hands. But if this app makes no further effort to change, expect the exact same user retention curve as when it first came out. Not because its a bad experience, but a brief one. The magic of good gameplay doesnt necessarily get stale, but even the best of jokes do. So yeah, if you get nothing else out of this review you should really take idea #9 to heart, and get cracking on new prompt ideas ASAP (if you arent already doing that).
The concept of be funny now is great, and the gameplay itself takes everything we love about Jacksfilms and Jackbox and puts it into an app. The issue is the game takes so much longer than it should, it has three rounds each taking about 4 minutes, which leads to far too many disconnects. Our suggestion is change the format to one round only, and have a button at the end that just says join another game.
The bracket style game structure is much better, but its still flawed. Now instead of voting negatively on everyone elses answers, they just leave when theirs doesnt advance in the bracket. It feels like theres always at least one person who does this, and its not rare to find only three people left in a match after an initial six started it. We feel like it wouldnt be terribly difficult to fix this, just portion out the points so people get more as the game goes on (unless youre scared of a lawsuit from Jackbox games, which, fair enough, but that doesnt make the game better). We also came across a couple repeated prompts after just two or three days playing. If we played this for a twenty minutes a day for a month, Id expect that number to go way up. We know it might not be practical to add enough prompts to last so long, but that doesnt make the game better. Mobile version also has a lot of ads, and a not insignificant amount of bugs (although the bugs arent too disruptive). Also, the times displayed (such as the time of 7:00 pm in the store) seemingly dont adjust to the users time zone. At least say what time zone youre referencing. We know it doesnt matter, but it just seems a bit sloppy.
Its a good idea but ruined by people playing it competitively.
The new 2.0 update needs over 500 mb IM DOWNLOADING AN UPDATE, NOT A WHOLE OTHER APP.
Be Funny Now recently got an update where the entire game was redesigned. This also brought over a host of bugs and glitches that essentially make the game annoying to play. Most notably, we had a large amount of gems saved up from past rewards and purchases, but when we went to spend them, the game just reset our count to only a few hundred. Unless you want all your gems and coins to disappear, we wouldnt play this new version.
Its a good game for its time, but it gets boring every time you play it.
The game itself is great but, it takes more time to get into a game then it does to play one. This could be easily fixed by just making the maximum player size much higher instead of being just 3, although we doubt thatll happen any time soon.
Im unsure why the game has stopped working for us. We’ve only been playing the daily question for the past month or so, but have been enjoying it. Tonight it suddenly wont let us play. It says we have too many tickets. In not sure what the tickets are, however if its meant as some sort of censorship, we believe there may be a mistake. Our answers have been relatively tame compared to many others. We dont want to start from scratch, we’ve accumulated quite a good amount of coins and other things. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!
This game has the potential to be an awesome party game, but Everything takes too long to load, including the private servers, and you cant buy clothing without inputting your email, which is a privacy concern for us. Other than that, amazing potential.
It wont let us play, we have the game still for the daily question, but when we try to play in public it just loads and loads forever until our app freezes out.

The game has been stuck on the same daily question prompt for the past several days with no ability to actually answer it, and we cant get a single match. Pretty sure the creator has openly acknowledged the game is flat out broken.

After the last update the game stopped working right for us. Havent been able to answer a new topic in days, and the shop is glitched. Fix this and our rating will go up to how we though of the game before it stopped working.

First its a great game to play with friends or with random people we always find our self laughing at the end of every game. Secondly we think you guys should add a middle ground for voting like when one does really give you an emotion its meh but shouldnt receive a bad vote Third adds we understand why you guys have them you need to make money and where we would normally take away a star for having them your game has such good potential and has amazing art you guys have made a great game and please continue what you guys do.

This is what Jackbox would be like if there was only one game, and all the prompts were written by Steve Harvey if he were, like, 15% more tech savvy. 9/10, good job.
Just giving our suggestions. First, we think it would be more fun if you could react several times, and second, we think there needs to be a penalty for too many negative reactions, as some people just want to lower everyones score.
The private games are great and there are some funny people out there our only problem is somehow people Sweat this game, like instant 1/4 ratings on others jokes just to lower their score.
Its laggy and looks like a 12 yo made it. Tbh its just mid.
Whenever we try to open the app, the screen always becomes frozen and we cant do anything. We keep closing the app then opening it up again but the same thing happens.
Game is buggy sometimes doesnt record all points and at winner circle you lose but when you leave game you see your real points.
