When we first played this game, it was really fun.
Ive tried so many match 3 games on this platform and theyre all nickel-and-dime nightmares. We paid for this eons ago and its still the best. Aside from one graphical bug on level transitions, it still runs great and we dont have to pay to progress. Thank you for just leaving this great game alone.

Ive been playing this game for years. Its fun and relaxing when times seem stressed and you just need to unwind. We really enjoy it and highly recommend it. Try it out and see.
We love the game, so we keep downloading it, filling in the questions. Very irritating.
We only play this game in zen mode on our iPad just to relax. Have for a long time. Whats really bugging us is that when any kind of game update happens, we lose all our rewards and the game goes into a mode where it acts as though Im new at it. Very irritating. How do we get all the rewards Ive earned back? We do not see a restore option anywhere. Little help.
Theres a bug where if your multiplier increases in Lightning mode, you cant swap at all until cascades are finished. And the timer starts counting down right after multiplier increase. And Poker mode is brokenyou cant swap gems until nothing on the board is moving. And too many ads as well Note to other reviewers: just turn your internet off and do not close the game while its loading, or else, it resets all your progress.
The game isnt too bad, but it does have ads. We loved this game since we were 4. [Nothing any reviews say will change our mind].
A amazing game that gets us thinking but has waaaaaaaay too many ads.
Bejeweled 3 is a wonderful game, and this version does a fairly good job of recreating the PC experience, but there are issues. Some graphics look worse, especially the main menu, and the graphic while transitioning between levels is broken, showing a white square. Quest mode from the PC version is missing completely, and the power-ups available are a cheap lazy way to monetize this game. Overall, a good version of the game, but it could be so much better.
Ive played a version of this game for 15+ years on every device. We only play Lightning mode as the other modes are boring to us. PopCap has changed the Blazing Speed to a timed bonus instead of true fast-matching bonus. Its completely negated any speed play, the entire point of Lightning. Why do you mess with this? We can score nearly 3 million in Lightning but we see videos of people playing MUCH slower than we do and scoring magnitudes higher. Its not fun anymore. Please rework the algorithm to more normal old-school play.
You were always good at keeping ads off to the side. But now everytime we open the game, we have to sit thru ads before we can play. Makes things NOT fun.
This version relies on getting tools to help. Im not paying for anything extra. Diamond ours was our favorite but now is just slow and boring.
Great relaxing game but it constantly pushes ads. We finally got fed up with the ads and removed the game.
We have played this game for more than ten years and paid for ad removal for the second time recently. Now the ads have started up again. Maybe we missed that the latest payment only gave us a month or two ad-free.
This used to be one of our favorite games and lately its been kicking us out of the game and taking us to a Safari page indicating we have a virus. Its also been kicking us out and we have to log back in, having to watch a minimum of 2 ads or more.
Viewing the ads to save the butterflies does not work. We love the game but Im sick of not being able to go back after viewing the ads.
It is a fun game but losing your progress and having them say look we gave give you presents is enraging.
We have played this game off and on for years on different platforms but this ipad version has erased all our scores and badges/level progress, twice now. (Game Center achievements remain normal, its only the in-app records that are affected) It also acts like Ive never booted the game before and resets all the game settings (and shows us ads even though Ive purchased the remove ads option). Please fix this its very frustrating.
We hate that they try to force ads on you now even when you pay for it they keep resetting the game so you have to watch ads and they changed it to where you cant even get high scores really anymore. We hate it.
We have ALWAYS loved this game but over the past week, it errors out DAILY, and makes us have to buy the ad-free purchase that Ive already made. Luckily, when we push buy, it sees Ive already bought it (well over a year ago) and doesnt charge us again but, its getting old. And sometimes it happens 3 or 4 times a day. It keeps treating us like its our first time playing every time we leave and come back.
We play this game for years and a;ways loved it. However, there is something wrong with the app as it ones in a while start a new by itself. Stupid and annoying.
The improvements are annoying. Instead of playing time, we have to wait for a pages to load to tell us our ranking, or badge, etc. We dont care about that, just let us play the game. Seriously.
We have loved this game for years. When we got our new iPad, this was one of the apps we knew we had to keep. But its driving us crazy. Our scores, badges, history, etc keep getting cleared, and the game starts us back at the beginning. This has happened at least once a month, sometimes more often than that. Help.
We used to love playing Bejeweled, but not we seem to spend more time trying to get out of the ads then we do playing the game. Really frustrating. We think Ill have to delete and fine another game to waste time. And it wont be something from PopCap.
We do not like the recent update. Before we could play games for more than a few seconds. Now they all time-out before we can get enough points to make it worth our while to sit down and play. Oh well, maybe that is a sign.
This game is buggy. Many times playing diamond ours, we clear the required rows at the buzzer. It shows 25 seconds on the clock, but then says Game Over!. Meanwhile the timer keeps ticking down, 24,23,22,21 When playing butterflies, when you die, it offers a continue, but if the butterfly on the right column reaches the top, it eats the same butterfly immediately and ends the game. Tried app support. No reply. They dont seem to care.
Not having our favorite game Bejeweled butterflies for a few days made us realize how much we missed it, we just love the game it has everything the one thing that we don't like is how hard you have to work just to get a score in the hundred thousands we can't understand how the high scorers get those high scores. We play very often and we only got close to 3 million.
This game was good until you started putting ads up.
Before we get into the game, we just want to point out that making people pay for an ad-free experience, after they ALREADY paid for it the first time is manipulative And feels predatory. $3 or not, we already purchased to not have ads. Why am we paying for this again after an update? Apart from our money being stolen, the game works okay for the most part. Our least favorite mode is butterflies personally, but it does a good job keeping you busy. The audio at the start is unbelievably loud and we ended up just muting the entire thing. As much as this passes as an ok game, the rating is justified because we felt like a fool for thinking the option to pay for no ads was final. If you wanted more money just make it a subscription instead of blindsiding people into thinking they didnt pay for the add-on.
We love this game, and many years ago we paid to stop the ads. All of the sudden the ad started appearing today and even pressing the restore previous purchase buttons does not work. We dont think its fair. We have to pay for them to be gone again.
We were glad to find this version again, we played it years ago. This original version is better than blitz in our opinion.

Deleted the app just now. We paid a long time ago so we can enjoy whenever, wherever and to not have adds, now after updating we get an add with every click, nope, not doing that. We loved this game.
This has been our favorite "go to" game for a very long time. We tried to play tonight and the ads are coming up in the very middle of the game board. You can't see to play the game at all. What is going on?? The game is useless this way.
We paid for this game to get rid of adds. Now there is a thumbnail playing in the periphery that occasionally sounds an annoying alarm trying to notify us of potential virus attacks. Its aggravating when it happens and especially since we paid for no ads.
Every couple days the opening screen is shifted left and down. We have to kill it and restart it to fix it. When we do, game puts us back at the beginning and explains everything again. The only bright spot is that it keeps our score. We now have gotten to level 300 but it still ranks us as a beginner. Im tired of dealing with it.
Every time we open the game it appears in the lower left quadrant of our screen .we Hoya et to turn our iPad off and start it again to get the game to show in full on our screen . The app reset itself one day so we clicked restore purchases only to discover that the app deleted all our achievement progress. Our achievements show up in Game Center but not within the records tab within app. Not cool.
We bought this game a few years ago and it was great. But now this evil company has downgraded a paid product to an app full of unskippable ads. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCUM COMPANY.
We enjoyed this app for iPad several years ago. We downloaded again recently, and it was slow, with so many ads that required involved clicking, and then video ads (which sometimes overlapped the game) during game play. This app has become too junky to use, which is a pity.
The game has been very glitchy and we dont know what is going on with it but it has been very glitchy we dont know if theres not an update for it or what is going on but the game is being very glitchy and we dont know why we need to put in our date of birth and birth year for security.
We cannot imagine the game with more obnoxious ads that are harder to get rid of then what this company has provided. Worth noting also is that the graphics are designed for a small screen, and a large iPad they become kind of grainy. It also only works in a single orientation.
