We have almost all of the runaway games and this might just be our favorite one cause we just love birds,. And there is always something to do like unlocking more parts of the jungle and stuff.100% recommend.
We love this game. The music is so calming, and the birds are so cute!
There seems to be a bug where none of our birds can eat more than 21 gnats. We tried to submit a message through the help section of the app in settings but we got an error message when we tried and couldnt submit the message. We started playing yesterday and this seems like the kind of game Id love but as of right now its unplayable :(
Its a standard idler game but youre raising birbs. The atmosphere in the game is really relaxing with all the nature and birb sounds.
We started it and played for a couple of hours. Tried to link our account and we kept getting server errors. We came back a little bit later and we had lost all our progress. Im really hesitant to start again even though we really liked itbut that was a really bad way to start. We dont want to restart the whole game every time we open the app.
Update: no one gets back to you from support for the issues you are having with the game. Dont bother playing it. All your progress gets lost because the app cant connect to a serve to link your accounts. Its very wholesome and relaxing :) much like Flutter, but with birds ! Our only issue is linking accounts to our Apple ID or Runaway, we lost our progress and get server error when we tried again. We dont want to lose our progress again :( help.
Love the game so far, but a few days ago, one of our giant pittas developed a glitch. Its max level but can still eat gnats (which dont count for anything) and it shows a notification in the species entry in the bird journal. We’ve collected all stages and the completion ribbon, so theres no way to make the red (1) disappear. UPDATE: this issue has been resolved by customer support. However, please stop sourcing your ads from ironsource. Mobi. Their ads are glitched and cannot be closed, instead never ending. We have to force quit the app and then we dont receive what we were watching the ad for.
It logged us out when we tried linking the account to runaway. And the apple login doesn’t work. Im gonna miss out in the events waiting to recover our account. Luckily we have evidence of our account id and have made a purchase.
Very fun game, economically balanced. We just wish there were more non-event sets of birds to summon through the tree.
We got this app because of our love of birds. We really appreciate that they are actual species, and it gives you a blurb about them. It makes it feel real to some extent, which has helped heal a gap we’ve had ever since our birds died. This game makes us feel very happy, and it gives us something to look forward to. We love the background chirps, its very peaceful. We cannot express how much joy this app brings us. If we were to add some things, it would be very nice if you could name the birds. It would feel more personalized and homey. Additionally, we think it would be great if there was additional information about feeding habits, where they are found, differences between males and females- OH AND ADDING THEIR SONGS, like the specific sounds they make!! Id be super excited for something like that. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
The last star is only missing because its sometimes difficult to figure out what we ought to be doing. A little more intuitive mechanics wouldnt go amiss That said, we love the pace and the open-ended activities. Thank you!
Game rocks, love the lowkey bird collection. We have a few user interface recommendations because we find myself getting annoyed with some of how this game functions. We really dislike how every time you tap on a bird to collect melodia or tap on a hatchling to feed it, the entire UI for that bird appears. We just want to tap to complete our tasks without additional pop ups, its not very convenient and makes the user tap again to exit the UI. We also dislike the automatic camera focus when you tap on the mother monkey, we hate having to zoom back out to see our birds every time we view her request.
We were addicted to this game for awhile. We decided to purchase a package during the event for mulch and seeds. We used one of each and then there was a server issue and we were booted out. When we went back in, the remaining mulch and seeds were gone and so was the progress we had made in the event. We tried all day to reach out getting error messages every time. We will be deleting this and Splash (that we have been spending money every month on).
This game is so relaxing and fun, we’ve been playing runaway games for a very long time and this is the best by far, you should get it 5 stars.
So first of all this game is AWESOME!! We love it so much, Im gonna play it every day but heres why we gave 4 stars. So, we updated our app because it had a new update and you can store birds now, cool, but it replaces the button that used to let you merge. Did you get rid of merging or move the button? Im so confused. Please clarify. Thank you.
Im loving this so far we dont like how slow it it to unlock more space but other than that we love it the birds are beautiful and the game design is beautiful.

Id play this awesome bird game more if the 45 second Royal Match, Merge Gardens ads, and multiple clicks required to end said ads were permanently removed from all Runaway Play games. If you dont watch the ads you cant complete events. Spending money on boosts and currency for a simple game costs a lot more than a Nintendo game in the long run. Please make non mobile games. We quit most mobile games for this reason a long time ago but when we saw Bird Kind just had to try this cute game. Not sure we can continue unfortunately.

We love this game so much!! Birds are one of our favorite things in the world as a student ornithologist, and considering we also love collection games, this has been a DREAM. The support team for Runaway is so amazing, considering they helped us get back our entire forest (and MORE) when we unfortunately lost it one day. We couldn’t be more grateful enough for that on its own! Our only ONLY point of criticism is that one of the missions led by the tamarin monkey asks for a bird that can help with ancient Aztec symbols, and says that she knew a South American bird would be of help. We find it important to note that the Aztecs were natives of Mexico and not South America, so birds like the Resplendent Quetzal, Mexican Violetear, or even the Costa’s Hummingbird would likely be a better fit for that mission! Otherwise maybe change the wording from Aztec to Inca for more accurate representation? It may seem minor, but we do think it’s an important detail worth noting :> Regardless, we’ve been addicted to this game for the past month and a half, and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Thank you for making such an awesome game, we can’t wait to see what comes next!!
We love this game, graphics are good, characters are charming, well except for one thing. THIS GAME RESETS ITSELF ALOT. Ives had the game lose progress on us three times, and the first two times we were able to recover our data because the save data was saved, third time we LOST EVERYTHING because as we were attempting to recover our save apparently the New Game overwrote our old data and now we cannot get it back we just wished we screenshotted our user code.
As a bird lover this app is the best. We love the information you get on the birds and how relaxing it is to play!
We absolutely love this game but every time we open it it says there has been a problem with the game, tap the tick button to restart your game. To be honest we dont know what the tick button is but yeah. We’ve tried shutting down our phone and deleting the app but every time we go on that account it says the same thing.

We wanted to play one day and suddenly we cant anymore, we’ve waited a few days but it says we cant enter the game and to reset the tick by clicking. We’ve lost so much time in the event due to this bug/glitch. Otherwise its a lovely game.
Im a really big fan of your works and we think this is a really great game! Not too far yet but we actually have a folder just for your games if anything im surprised you made this game almost right after flutter away but its an overall great game we recommend it for bird lovers, people who like graphics and people who like games where you collect things like species, it is a bit of a waiting game but its fine the only thing we think has gone wrong was when we got 3 unknown species with the same traits which all ended up being 3 giant pittas but otherwise, great game the only thing you could maybe change is if you can get multiple over two of the same species at once. Anyways, Keep up the good work! Bye! Edit :havent been a full minute and we just got our 5th giant pitta oh lord.
Overall, its great, but we do have a slight concernI logged on today and our female bee hummingbird we fully leveled up was gone and the female bee hummingbird we put in storage was gone as well. Its almost like we sold both of them, but we didnt sell them. Please fix this so it doesnt happen to any other birds of ours!
And right in middle of event we guess will lost the rewards. Using: iPad Pro 5th gen iOS17 Update: The bug was fixed after event was already over. Lost the rewards hope can get a chance for same in future event without need to buy missed event birds.
As soon as we unlocked the tamarin that gives you missions, the game crashed and Im now stuck with the There has been a problem with the game! Popup that others are reporting. If it helps any with identifying the source of the bug, we were fledging an undiscovered bird species at the same time missions were unlocked, and then it just corrupted.
But now it just wont open anymore. Says theres an issue with the game we’ve restarted the game, restarted our phone, redownloaded the game, still wont open.
The game is fun and relaxing, except for the food flowers. At level three, a food flower gives you 5 gnats every 30 seconds for free, or 22 gnats every 10 minutes for 60 Melodia. If you don’t want to waste almost 8 minutes’ worth of gnats, you have to open the app every 30 seconds to get the gnats and start a new process. And you have to spend Melodia to waste your own time! It gets worse the more you level up your food flowers, too: at level four, you can get 7 gnats every 30 seconds, or 26 gnats every 10 minutes for 60 Melodia. That’s a worse deal! Now you’re wasting more than 8 minutes’ worth of gnats! The longest gnat-fetching process you can start 20 hours for 3,000 Melodia. At level four, you get (drumroll please)… 326 gnats! For 20 hours! And 3,000 Melodia! Or, you can open the app every 10 minutes and get 1100 gnats in 8 hours 20 minutes for 3,000 Melodia. Or, you can open the app every 30 seconds for 20 hours and get 16,800 gnats for free. We do not value our own time enough to waste 11 hours and 40 minutes for literally over 400% the amount of gnats. We’re simply not doing that. The developers seriously need to change how the food flowers work.
Love the game Please make it so we dont have to keep confirming about moving our birds from the main area to the storage- making it a drag and drop thing would be way easier, and as it is easily reversible, theres no reason for the confirmation. However, what should have confirmation is the spending of berries. We have wasted a lot of berries this way, and Im starting to think the game is intentionally designed this way which is really annoying.
Some of our birds just randomly disappeared. They are not in our game/ storage/ or mission. We did not sell them, and if they were we didnt get any extra in game currency. We were almost done with our Giant Pitta and it vanished. The book in the game acknowledges we had the bird. But its nowhere to be found.

This game is so much fun all the different birds are fun to collect and draw.
We have all of the runaway games, but we think that this is our favorite one by far, im hoping to see more games just like this but different animals.
No joke, we played Runaways Starlight game for two months straight, and kept a streak for a pretty long time. We always use to tell myself we wish they had a game like this but with birds because birds are like our favorite animals and they can be so beautiful! We love the graphics; amazing. We love the birds; So pretty!! The music is soothing and we love the bird chirps to it in the background. Great sound effects.

This game is the best. Its so relaxing and the art and music is so beautiful. Especially if you love birds, the fact that theyre all real world birds is so special. We’ve played the butterfly and moth games from Runaway Play and loved them.. If these games are all similar and mostly about collecting different species. Its not for you if you care about a game feeling repetitive.. But we love it! We love birds and its been fun to learn about new ones. The art style here is such an improvement from previous games and the aesthetic is so beautiful. Hoping to one day be able to collect parrots such as cockatiels!!

This game is clearly family-friendly and child appropriate, but we’ve been having a lovely time with it as a 27y/o young professional as well. Ill admit after the tutorial/very early stages its not the type of game youll be investing large swaths of time on all at once, but thats more a feature of its genre than a comment on this game. The graphics and art are lovely, the ambiance is highly soothing and we imagine Ill keep an eye on this game for quite some time. Its relatively new but already feels well fleshed out and whole, although we are excited to see what new features may come. All in all, a strong contender for those who like soothing games, idles, and anyone with a completionist streak.
