The Freezer Reviews

Wow. This game is creepy as fk! Only a criminal deviant of the lowest order, could conceive of some sht like this!

Not only a sequel, but a great standalone game even for those unfamiliar with the series. Greatly improved upon the gameplay of the first game, we can gladly say that this took us a few hours to get through, between finding all the hidden objects and the puzzles. One very minor complaint would be the lack of a fast-travel map, which wasn’t needed in the first game, but the absence of which makes this game a little tedious near the end. Still, the artwork, atmosphere, and story were more than enough for a game of this genre, and we can’t wait to see what the creators come out with next!

Great game. We had to use a walk through on YouTube to complete it, but it was still a fun escape room.

Not happy with this game at all you have glitches. Do you have puzzles that are impossible to solve because you dont provide the necessary equipment or tools. We would like our money back. We cant get any further because you never gave us the broken umbrella behind the bench.

If you like puzzle games with a creepy atmosphere, this ticks all the boxes. The game difficulty is a little above average, but the hint system is easy to access if you need it. (Hints are gentle nudges in the right direction you still have to figure things out.) Theres a skip function on a few time-consuming puzzles. It came in handy on the shifting tiles in the sewer. The Alley and Kitchen areas are both full of fun items. Discovering everything was a blast. Be careful with navigation. Its tricky because sometimes hitting the back arrow backs you up, and sometimes it turns you 180 degrees. We feel like there should be more consistency on that. Personally, Id like a map function so we could gauge how far we were from the spot we needed to be. We enjoyed the heck out of this game. (It should be noted, however, that nearly no gameplay takes place in the freezer.)

For those who like this genre of puzzle, we would rate it right up there among the best. It was challenging but solvable, albeit a pretty good hint system if needed. We found it very satisfying to complete each section even though sometimes you had to retrace your steps to use something from the previous scenes. We had played his other two games and liked them, so we are looking forward to the next ones!

This is a great game and has hints. Only small issue is the amount of running around especially at the end. Kinda painful and makes it a little annoying. Other than that, it’s great.

Love the artwork+sound design, and the attention to detail is amazing. However, the navigation system can be confusing. (Eg. Clicking back makes you spin around the room instead of exiting; door on the left reappears on the right side of the screen upon entrance; it takes 3+ clicks to get down the well, etc) Perhaps some steps just need a bit simplifying. Overall awesome game, thank you for making it.

This is a fun, creepy game in the Hotel Orpheus series. There are a lot of interesting rooms and locations to explore and we like that there is a lot of stuff that you can interact with. The hint system is really well done where it first gives you a lot of small nudges toward the solution instead of just giving you the answer right away. You also get to choose what puzzles you want help with so it doesnt just spoil the challenge. One thing we didnt like was that it felt kind of linear where one puzzle led to the next which led to the next etc which is frustrating if youre stuck on a certain puzzle. It was also a little bit short, but it is currently free so Im not complaining too much. Over all fun game with good challenges and cool, creepy atmosphere. We look forward to the next game from this dev.

This is one of the better escape games we’ve found. Well done, with useful help. Our biggest problem with it is that there is a lot of tedious traveling back and forth between locations. We would have preferred it if once you find a location, you can choose between locations instantly instead of having to retrace your step.

We really enjoyed the other two games, but Im having a hard time getting into this one. Its much more difficult and Im stuck and unable to progress any further. The hints dont help when they tell you things like smash the clock with a rock, but dont tell you how to get the rock. We see rocks (I think) in the garage, but nothing happens when we click on them. We gave up and deleted the game.

Cant get past the alley because the scope keeps disappearing after l find it?!?!

Like Room 1309 this escape room game is challenging but fun. It seems to be a longer game so we feel its more bang for your buck. No ads and its great to have free hints. Looking forward to more from this dev!

We got this because of the graphics style but the game is awesome too. We like that the hints are available in the game. Recommend!

We bought the game and it wont let us resume. Pressed the restore game button and it still does not work.
