Im really hoping this update works because we had gone on to a new envelope challenge, got 4 or 5 levels in and the game glitched and sent us back to the last word challenge of the previous envelope set of challenges. Now Im stuck having to do them all over again.
We were charged $8.47 two times yesterday for a purchase of the Gulluvers travel gem package and never received it. We would like our refund of $16.94 for both charges. This is not the first time this has happened with this app.
The new update on Friday, September 7, 2023 removed all the rewards that we collected and left with 0(zero) we have no butterflies, tornados, waterfalls, flowers, or jewelry or any of the other rewards that we had collected they all went back to 0 (zero) What happened please help get our rewards back we like playing Bold Moves but now we feel this new update has robbed us of everything we had earned.
Took us a few years (playing everyday) but we finished the game. We beat Level 500! Now we play the Special Events and love them all. Bold Moves is a part of our daily life!
Update to our review 6/23/23. Since the update, the freezing has stopped and now we can play on our phone as it finally is coordinating via iCloud. Thanks to the developers for addressing our concerns. Oprah would be proud.

We play this game when we just want to veg out after a stressful day at work or when we can’t sleep because our mind won’t quiet. The music is gentle and it’s fun guessing the quotes. We like that all of the quotes are positive messages.
We’ve completed all 500 of the standard levels, so we appreciate that we can still enjoy playing the new events games. Unfortunately, the daily Quote of the Day game offering has been the same game and quote for weeks now, and it wont change to a new game even after successfully solving the stuck-game. We enjoyed getting a new daily game and quote to try when it was working properly, but the daily repeat is a glitch that needs to be corrected.
This game is great, its fun and easy to play. It gets challenging in a good way and the mechanics are not predatory. We love the look feel and style too, it gives you a feeling when playing!
We like the addition of the daily game. However, Im tired of doing the SAME game 3very day Breathe and let be. Seems like it should refresh every day. We’ve been doing this daily for over a week.
To start with the positives- we love that there are different tasks within the game: match 3 to get to a Hangman-style puzzle that you have to solve. It keeps the game fresh and fun, we love that the answers you are trying to solve are inspirational/motivational quotes. However– the game falls prey to the most common fault in all of these types of apps: they just cant get the balance of how easy it is vs how rewarding it is to play. People dont play match 3 games to get frustrated and overwhelmed. They play to relax while theyre on the bus or waiting in the doctors office or whenever they have a few moments and they want to kill time. The first few rounds were so easy we almost deleted it cuz it was almost pointless. Then all of a sudden it became near impossible. Especially with the daily games. Ill probably keep it but we wont play it regularly.
We have played this game since its original launch. Since Red Games took it over, its degraded in quality. In the last two weeks, it is not performing consistently. The app is now showing that we never completed all 500 levels and when we launch it, it wants to start us at game 1. WTH? There have been a string of days where we try to earn the second booster by watching an ad, but the ad wont run – we get a Bold Moves error that says sorry the ad didnt run, but youll still earn the extra booster, yet it doesnt increment. When we’ve written to support, we get irrelevant answers. Its not our device, OS, or user error (Ive logged out/in). Im almost at the point of deleting it altogether and Im not a gamer, so we wont be investing in one of the others.
Hi, somehow we can stuck at level 62. We cant load the game to play. This happened to us 2 times. Uninstall and install, still not able to click play. :( we love this game. Please make it work again.
Im deleting this game. The further you progress the more ads they insert after every game or action. Inserting ads for rewards wasnt enough. Now you get an ad to go to the next game, next screen, next operation. Its excessive and takes away from an enjoyable experience.
This was our favorite game when it first came out because it was enjoyable and calming. While we were no expert, we were able to pass each level with maybe one or two extra moves or boosts. Now, we cant pass any of the levels even when using all our extra boosts or extra moves. Sorry but Im deleting this. Its not our end of the day or go-to game anymore.
We’ve played this game for years. Lately our boosts keep disappearing. We’ve not been able to get the developers to reinstateunless we can tell them how many we had. We dont know because we kept over looking the depleted boosts expecting a correction. Pretty sure the developers could look back for us.
This game has only gotten worse over time and now takes the bonuses that you purchase and erases them and then just tells you to restart. In other words, they are stealing money from people. And they wont refund it. Its frustrating to play a game that constantly breaks. And its horrible being literally robbed! So Im not playing it anymore after 6 years. Warning for others! What theyre doing is literally illegal at this point. Its disgusting.
Overall we really like this game. However, it is very glitchy, which detracts a star. We sometimes have to delete the app and reinstall it to get it to work correctly. Today we solved all five parts of the Marathon game, but we cant get the reward – just an image of the stack of five stones! After we wasted a lot of life preservers and boosts to get to the end !! Im running the latest version, too.
We love the app… When it works. Though developers keep pushing new updates to debug the issues become worse. The game is fun and inspirational, however over the past month (even with 2 updates in between), the app will not even load. If we delete app, we loose all data. It becomes very frustrating. We hope developers get glitches fixed as now it wont even load since the latest update. The games are getting a little too challenging taking weeks to get past, but thats not as frustrating as the app itself not working.
When its working, we love this game. But too many times it freezes and we have to reinstall, makes us hate it!
We like this game but it takes months to gain levels and then the app stops working. To fix it you have to contact customer support or attach it to your Facebook. We dont attach our Facebook so… We went to customer support and they help but we never regain our level or all the power ups we had collected for months. So you get to start over! This has happened to us 3 times. So we quit.
Currently just loads to 100% and freezes.
Still love the game but since the last update, Im having trouble opening it. It just hangs. We’ve reinstalled it a few times and that helps temporarily. We dont want to have to reinstall the app every time we want to play.
We have been playing this game a long time. We are currently on level 290 and was stuck on level 284 for 7 months. The daily rewards finally allowed us to get enough boosts to pass. Now we are having trouble with the game quitting in the middle wasting boosts we have used plus a life. We have deleted the app and reinstalled it twice and that hasnt helped. We enjoy the game but it is frustrating to not be able to play it correctly. We would be interested to know if any other players are having this problem.
Email support is superb. Three emails got responded to better then any customer care. It is as expensive as a dinner to get a minimal amount of gems. Strategy support is recommended. We agree its a love/hate relationship. Too Rich$ for our blood, but like the game. Down $250. Like a gambling addiction. Fun, and wine isnt included. Over #100 and proud .
Just like all the recent reviews, something is wrong. We contacted support but so far no fix.
We enjoyed the game until the timed puzzles came along. We got through some but they returned with VINES which made us anxious. We dont need any more anxiety than everyday living poses. Without the ticking clock it would be an excellent game.
We havent been able to play this game in the last few weeks because it stops loading at 87% when we open it.
We have this game on our apple tablet and android phone. For the past week or two, we are unable to open on our tablet. It stays stuck at 50%; no matter how long we leave it. This is the third time this happens. We have to delete the app and reinstall it. Very annoying. We have played this game daily without missing a daily prize in over two years. We are able to open it on our phone to not mess up our streak, but we dont enjoy playing on our phone as much as the picture is too small and often we want to swipe one way and the little icons go the other way and mess up our game.
We havent been able to play this game for 2 days now because it stops loading.
Old design was better. You cant win without paying money (which we have) and NOW IT CRASHES ALL THE TIME.
We’ve been playing for a few years. We’ve been stuck on a level for months. We think its time to say goodbye to this game. This is the second time we got hopelessly stuck.
Following up on our help screen location inquiry, thank you for your answer. Can the help Screen be accessed during a game without losing a heart? You used to be able to do that in the old version and was very helpful to access during the game without losing a heart.
This used to be our all-time favorite game but now it just doesnt work correctly. Since their last major update, we get kicked off all the time, usually right when Im about to achieve a level. Then we lose a life and have to start all over. We love this game so much we’ve just been tolerating it but we think its been 2 months now and nothing has been fixed in terms of all the bugs. Not going to play it anymore, such a disappointment.
We love playing however for the last 24 + hours the game will load up to 87% Thats it not 86% or 88% Will not go past 87% we’ve shut our phone off several times Theres other people complaining about this last reboot Whats going on.
Amazing game! Super challenging at times, and we love solving the inspiring quotes on each level. We’ve actually unlocked some quotes that we thought about for weeks, which made a positive impact on our mindset. Kind of crazy to be able to say that about a game.
What is the red and white life rafts for!?
We REALLY like this game, UNTIL there are levels that you CANNOT pass!!! Number eight on the Christmas special is one of those! As is the timed level, on the regular game, that we have tried to pass EASILY 25 times! A REALLY ANNOYING WASTE OF TIME, when you have 55 turns, and cant pass the level! We have tried better than 10 times!! BORING!!!
Been playing this game almost 3 years. Do not like this update. Harder to navigate. No reminders for daily reward. No notification for special games. Small graphics. Disappointing. Going to find a new game.
- Certain levels wont load after youve pressed play so you have to restart it and end up losing a life. (You only get five and get replenished one per 20 minutes. 2. Winning is not entirely based on skill, you have to wait for luck of the draw. You run out of lives first which means youll spend several days stuck on one level. 3. The prizes you unlock you are forced to test for free so very few if any of the boosts you earned will actually be available to play your game with. You will have to purchase them from the store if you want the benefit of those boosts. 4. Theres no way we’ve seen to be awarded gems, boosts etc by scoring high or passing levels. You have to buy them. Im certain the point was to encourage the user to spend more time on the app but the psychology of it is all wrong. Not enough reward is given to encourage healthy users seeking leisure to keep playing this game.
We updated the app and now every game crashes as we complete it.
4 days now!!! We’ve played consecutively 952 days and your app has crashed!
PROBLEM: it is not loading past 42% for the last 3 days. We Have tried over and over again we even deleted it from our phone and then reinstalled it again and it still doing the same thing so we dont know what the problem is so if you can fix it that would be great. UPDATE: love the new version.
This is a highly entertaining game. That being said, there are levels that are impossible to pass without buying additional boosts. We dont think Oprah needs the money. We stand by our statement. This is an expensive game. We like it… Its highly addicting but you really need to buy expensive boosters to move to certain levels. We find it very entertaining that the developers read our review and offered tips for various levels.
Frankly the games interface is clunky and at times its just too hard. We’ve wanted to like it because of the messaging and we got up into the 150s but its just too hard at times (it shouldnt take 40-50 attempts to pass some of these levels) and lets be honest the cactus is a bad idea. The way those can blow up a game doesnt make sense. Back to candy crush.
UPDATE!! Our account was restored with gem balance A month ago we would have given this app 5 stars but recently the app keeps restarting our progress. We had over 2 years of levels reset back to level one which is frustrating & disappointing. Countless gems bought that have now all disappeared. At this point we dont want to invest any of our money or time into this app! We even sent an inquiry to there customer service portal, no response was granted. We just bought 150 gems last night and this morning its gone because the game restarted again UPDATE!! Our account was restored with gem balance.
