Community Insight:

We had tons of fun playing this! Youll love everything about it; the story, the graphics and the sound effects. We hope Big Fish adds more bonfire stories.

What happened to the Strategy Guide for this one? We got to the end coffin puzzle, got the name but had no idea what the number was. No notes to refer to, and no strategy guide.

We AM OLD 76 AND HAD NOT TRIED AN IPAD STORY PROGRAM FOR SEVERAL YEARS. We we WAS SHOCKED AT THE PRICE $ 6.99. We WAS TIRED OF JIGSAW PUZZLES AND SOLITARY AND TRIED A LITTLE ADVENTURE. IM PARTLY THROUGH THE STORY AND HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED. RUSS we WILL BUY THE NEXT ADVENTURE WHEN TIS IS FINISHED.

We enjoyed this game quite a bit. Puzzles ranged from easy to medium hard. We had difficulty with the fill the bottle in the middle to proper level. Our brain just doesnt think that way. We played this on our iPad 8th generation. Ran smoothly with no glitches. Story is long and its just good laid back fun. Graphics were fine. Nothing spectacular. But good. Storyline is something we dont follow so much. But this one seemed to flow well. Lots of back and forth but not annoyingly so. And its usually only one or two rooms back. The scene will take you to the next one if you use the hint when you might be done with a scene. Thats mainly what we use the hint for, personally, to just see where to go next. We get frustrated when its not very obvious or easy to find. We enjoyed the hidden object scenes and mini games. We did have to skip through two. Thats just us though. Again, nice fun game that ran well on our iPad. We dont think thered be any regret if purchasing. Definitely worth the $2.99.

Ive played probably at least 100 of these games, most of them by Big Fish. This game was by far one of the best. The graphics, mini games, sound, and story truly kept us deeply enthralled. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend. Keep these games coming. This one set the bar so high, itll be hard to beat.

It was so fun but then when we got to this point we had to pay to unlock it we wish it was free at that point.

Very engaging. The story is good and the way you have all these things to find to be able to unlock things in different parts of the story makes it fun and interesting.

The story flows well. As anyone who plays a lot of these types of games knows story flow isn't always achieved. This came succeeds in the story dept. Hidden objects were varied and fun. But the best part of all, in our opinion, is the voice acting for the old man. He appears throughout the game. He's worth stopping to listen to just for how credible the voice actor made that character. That guy cause us to add the 5th star for the rating.

Just starting the game pretty much and so far Im really enjoying it.

Really really enjoyed this one. It had a story line that you could follow and an actual plot. Come on, BF, lets have more like these. More that are closer to realistic. Closer to something you can follow along with. Great graphics.

One of the best games Ive played.

Missed 13th skull since we got our iPad. Gravedigger is even better! Thank you.

Great game with a great storyline! The bonus chapter was very short but that doesnt take away from the main game being long with good mini games. We hope they keep this series going with future games having more items to search for throughout the games like morphing objects & a variety of HOPs! Please bring more Bonfire games to the iOS format.

Take our money! Lol so far Im lovin it. The beginning reminded us of Are You Afraid of the Dark. Awesome graphics, amazing creepy music…. Scared us a few times and this is only the start!? Lol. Eek.

This game is very well worth the money and is worth every cent! The visual storyline is really what takes the cake! Lovely game.

This is a very well produced game! The voiceovers and music are exceptional and we usually cannot stand either, the mini games, the artwork, the story line are all five star worthy. Need we say more.

This game was awesome! Went searching for more bonfire story games, but sadly …none. Hope there is a new one soon.

All text is very clear making it very easy to read directions and hints, not like a lot of other games. Lots of hidden objects as opposed to tons of mini games. Some games have too many mini games rather than hidden objects like the subject matter states.

We the graphics, esp the campfire, clouds, trees, water. Nice work! The mini-games were nice and challenging but be careful not to hit SKIP by accident. The music is dark with the best thunderstorms we've heard..and that deep voice in the cave is so scary! Bravo! It was long enough and we felt compelled to learn more of the story. Also, there were just enough HOP's, which we appreciate. Too many and we lose focus. After finishing the Main story: Bonus chapter + you can finish finding the hidden items u missed and some super surprise fun extras! But those graphics though! If you can't tell, this has been one of our favorites.. And we've played many, many BigFish games. Brilliant.

Great art work. Fun HOPs. Nice length of story.

Very fun adventure. Puzzles could have better instructions. Graphics are great, and the story is pretty good. Could have more HOS. REALLY enjoyed it.

At first we thought Big Fish games got its seasons confused. We were reluctant to even play it. We are so glad we did. It was more than we imagined. It has a consistent plot line. It has a great storyteller's flair! We are glad we played and purchased.

Everything is excellent – interactive map displaying various actions including hidden objects; inventive and interactive HOPs and puzzles; realistic sounds and voices; hidden figurines and paw prints. The Extra content allows the player to return to locate missed collectibles and figurines. Cant wait for the sequel.

BF has consistently released great games this year. Bravo.

Havent finished it but so far so good!! Thumbs up.

So, we just finished this game. Let us say, first of all, we scare easily. Secondly, we couldnt stop playing this game, even though it had us on edge the entire time! Great graphics, fun puzzles, collectibles, and the HOS all add a lot of oomph to this thriller. The storyline is creepy, and intriguing enough that we will be refraining from camping for a few years.

We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this game. Might even be worth $6.99! But, get it on sale.

We wish we could give it 6 stars! The storyline is enthralling. We purchased a number of games at the last two big Fish sales events based on good reviews and was dismally disappointed with so many that we couldnt even finish them (we created a new folder called when Im bored to tears). This was a breath of fresh air. No fairies. No voice actors who must be somebodys brother/sister/girlfriend, etc. Whose skill set couldnt get them through story hour in a preschool before nap time. No disconnected events that barely make sense in any universe. This story is suspenseful and even made us jump once or twice. Its scary, but not gory. The puzzles are not terribly unique but they are varied in type and difficulty. We really recommend this for a player who likes suspense, doesnt mind an adult theme and wants a thoroughly enjoyable few hours.

Pack your tent just be sure to include some special artifact for protection (you'll need it) grab those marshmallows, and pray for your soul. You will gather around the campfire, where you will hear about the legend of the Faceless Gravedigger who terrorized the grounds of an old, dilapidated resort, and whose existence is shrouded in mystery as you are taken back in time to gain insight into several of the evil monster's victims. This is a captivating introduction to a new series. As we progress, the intriguing plot builds up suspense and drama and is enhanced by well-written dialogue. The settings evoke a creepy ambiance, as demonstrated by haunting visuals, such as gruesome mannequins. The stormy weather patterns thunder, lightening, and rain contribute towards the foreboding atmosphere. The animations are effective, such as creepy dolls crying, and the cut-scenes capture hair-raising moments of trepidation. The inventory responsiveness acquiring and replacing items is the fastest we've ever encountered. The "back" button is convenient in avoiding backtracking to prior scenes. The adventure portion of gameplay at times reminds us of escape-like apps in which you find codes/clues within the environment to open safes, etc.; however, the gameplay is very linear so we knew exactly where to apply those clues. The HOSs are highly interactive and intelligently executed. Some of them were of the "Find and Use" fashion, and most incorporated puzzle-like features. The puzzles are atmospheric and well-integrated into the storyline. We especially liked the maze puzzles. The collectibles can blend into the shadowy background; look within the close-ups as well. The exposition of the plot, together with its constituents interesting puzzles and entertaining HOS blend together cohesively to deliver a successful production. Our attention was maintained all the way through to the end a victorious feat, considering the rash of bland story lines plaguing most games these days. We rate this game an infrequent 5 stars.

We really like this game and would like to pay to keep playing, but it wont let us purchase. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips and tricks on how we can purchase more of the game.

We were really ready to give it five stars, but there were a few minutes in the middle that it got a little slow. However, it was not enough to regret buying it.

As in any HOS games puzzels are repetitive. The plot is standard and repetitive. We give 4 only because we paid a discounted price. Have we pay the full price (very unlikely!) the review would be downgraded to 2. Please abandon these boring fantasy/graves stories. Make a space adventure! Sci-fi adventure! If you are capable of course.

So, we liked the storyline… We liked the puzzles… Why 4 star then? We found the puzzles to be repetitive. Not a lot of variations and somewhat predictable.

Kind of short, though. Everything worked okay, although the map was of questionable use. The story was interesting. The graphics were okay. If its on sale, play. Dont pay full price.

Graphics good, story too, but seemed short. Or we are just getting better.

We like to do these puzzle games in casual mode and often times we have to resort to cheating; but this game was pretty intuitive, so it made us feel smarter than we probably am. We wish there were more hidden object games within this game, but overall it was a god experience. May play again with our 10 year old.

We started the week off on a terrific note with this horror-themed game from Mariaglorum. This developer has given us a fabulous game with perfect quality assurance and a creepy but fun storyline. You could customize settings. The graphics were well detailed, although they lacked some visual acuity. There was no cohesive journal but objectives were regularly updated. Your tasks, the strategy guide, and the map were all under one tab, conveniently located in the lower right corner of the game interface. There was a back button so you could not accidentally back tap to a prior location. You had a marked teleport map to transport you instantaneously between locations. Collectibles included paw prints and character figurines, and there was an indicator on the map to show you if a collectible was still available. Inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. Inventory usage was extremely easy because there was no need to drag and drop inventory tools; you simply click on the tool and the spot where you want to use it and it works flawlessly! The HO scenes were interesting and some were more like puzzles, and there was a good variety. They werent overly numerous either. We liked the puzzles/games because they werent all boring rotational mindless types. There were codes and labyrinths and mazes, puzzles of skill and dexterity and logic. There were a plethora of tasks at each location and we found the gameplay very addictive. We didnt want this game to end. Our true rating will be 4.5 stars. We deducted a half star and the only reason was that the game was on the short side, including the bonus adventure. However this was a wonderful game and we wish we received more games from Mariaglorum. BigFish, well done! Now can you get us more from this developer and Grandma Studios? These developers are truly excellent and have amazing quality assurance. We believe we are due for EIPIX next, and we hope they have decided to address their quality assurance issues so that we can actually enjoy their game. Happy gaming to everyone.

Over all we enjoyed the game. We like the map with the icon telling if collectibles are still available, sometimes found it confusing about what to do, so often used the guide.

Seemed rather short, but we bought it because we were in need of something to do. Ive seen better, but for the cost it is not so bad. Cute little story line.

It was a good game, but it was solved in a couple of hours.

The game was too short! Ive played longer going games on this computer app.

It lets you play long enough to let you get hooked then wants you to pay $7 to continue the game or you start all over.

This was an interesting game with some fun puzzles, but it was such a short game for what we paid! We finished this in like an hour and a half and it cost us over 7 bucks.

We love this game, and when it asked if we wanted to unlock the full game, we clicked unlock but it says over and over again purchase failed. Please help.

Great game with puzzles but was disappointed to find after going through the game we have to pay $6.99 to continue on?? Thanks for ruining the fun.

We can hear sound but see absolutely nothing but a skip button.

We always loved games from this developer, and decided to get this game. Unfortunately, we can only see the Home Screen , and then once we press play, we can only hear sound, but theres just a black screen. And then, it gets to a point at the very beginning where we keep hearing footsteps going through sticks, and when we press skip (the only thing we see besides black screen), it doesnt work. So, if they could just update it to play on newer phones, that would be awesome.

Was enjoying this game. But when the update was downloaded it quit working. They need to stay up to date so that we dont feel it to be a waste of money.

Good graphics, coherent story, but a very depressing ending.

Not fully a free game. Or else we would have given it 5 stars.
