User Reviews on Bonsai Master

We would love to see an option to create Jin deadwood, and also to prevent new growth from the trunk without having to meticulously prune so many branches. The growth habits, tree varieties, wood and leaf textures, and interface are all phenomenal and we applaud the developers.

Just what we’ve been searching for, the perfect creative bonsai experience.

We have really enjoyed this app. It takes some effort to figure out the controls but once you get it, this app allows for complete creative freedom in designing bonsai. Aside from being a little glitchy sometimes this app has helped us in our real life bonsai practice by training our eye and allowing us to explore multiple possibilities on a virtual tree. The sky is the limit. Somethings we would love to see in an update are: Undo button Ability to create deadwood (Jin and Shari) Still an awesome app for a tech savvy bonsai enthusiast. Love love love.

We love this app. We were happy to see the tutorial videos and included trees. Its relaxing and frustrating and we enjoy it very much. We only wish there were more trees to choose from.

Closest thing to real bonsai growing on the App Store. There is one other we like but it has few features, mostly intended as promoting an actual garden. Bonsai Master on the other hand requires thought yes… Here we help… We figured this stuff out in a half hour and "finished" a nice tree without reading. Quick tips if you need as you go hand holding: (But first click the interface tutorial and read) A)Leaf button turns on and off the "skeleton" of the tree which is useful for precise branch cutting B)Water bucket grows your tree, yes if we understand, you can only grow one kind of tree for free C)To get that tree you need to add new and may need to delete a prepared tree(you can freely trim all trees though) D)To cut: Choose one of the trimmers, one deletes permanently, one trims but will grow again. Pinch in and out and scroll until you see red highlighting the branch you want to delete. Double tap to cut. Ok enough help, remember Bonsai growing is a process. Have fun, this is a great simulator.
