ABOUT BOOK OF BEASTS
Book of Beasts is a multiplayer, free-to-play collectible card game (CCG).You place cards on the board by smartly connecting Gems on Beast Cards. Every card on the shared battlefield can be used against you. Additional Spell Cards and deck building offer unlimited strategies and endless battle challenges!

HOW TO PLAY
- Score by connecting Beast Cards with matching Gems
- All your cards played in a turn must be placed next to each other.
- Gems can only be connected to the same Gem or blank edges.
SCORING
- MANA POINTS: Each new Gem connection awards points according to the lower of the two Gems values.
- TRINITY BONUS: If at least 3 different Gems are connected in a turn, the player gets 2 Mana Points.
- MANA POOL: If all Gems on a card with a Mana Pool are connected, the player gets the score indicated on the Mana Pool.
- END OF GAME: If it’s a player’s turn and they have no more cards in their hand and deck, the game ends.
- The player with most Mana Points wins.

- Build decks in your card collection and play with your own creations. You are only permitted a maximum of 2 of each card in your deck. Find out how you can make your deck even better with new cards.
- Each type of Gem (Fire, Water, Air, Earth and Spirit) has different advantages. Combine them with matching Turn Spells and Battle Spells for maximum points.
- Balance: The relationship between Beast Cards and Spell Cards is crucial to your strategy. Experiment and find the right balance for your strategy.
== STRATEGIES ==
- BLOCKING: Block your opponents from forming combinations by using the blank edges on your Beast Cards. This prevents your opponents from making high-scoring Beast Card connections.
- MANA POOLS: Mana Pools can be unlocked when they are placed smartly. But be careful – your opponent can also unlock them!
- OPPONENT’S HAND: Become a true Book of Beasts master by analysing and taking into account the opponent’s cards in your own turn.

We love the gameplay of this game- its very puzzley and we love the quick planning and thinking required for it. Our only complaint is that there are very few players to battle with online. Hopefully more folks will download and join us!
So all our love goes out to this game. It saddens us to rate it 4/5 stars since the game is so great. The concept is simple but engaging, it has enough strategy to be different each round, and has a cool collection system! Id just like to see more general content in the future, more lore for each creature card, a larger player base so we dont have to keep playing against AI, and above all else, a less confusing tutorial. It took us a bit to understand how the game worked as the tutorial was a bit confusing. In the future it might help to make a more immersive tutorial during the beginning fight to explain all the buttons and how to actually play. Overall we havent found a game quite like this ever and will be sticking around for future content updates. Cant wait for more!
Its a great game that lets you easily learn the basics and jump right into the action. The only issue we have had so far with the game is finding games against other players. They do however have 4 different AI to play against! This is nice when you arent able to find a game and still want to play. We hope the player pop continues to grow!!
So our first thoughts on the game is its pretty fun actually. Not very complicated which we like. Its just a nice casual game. Now we dont know if this becomes a p2w game since Im very new to it, but as of now its ok. Its kind of hard to find a real player to play against since Im guessing the player base is low at the moment. But hopefully people will start downloading it so it can be nice easy connections.
