Find out what gamers are saying about Book of Demons: Tablet Edition:

We are almost half way through this with our 1st character. We hope that you make all the new content that is implied with all those podiums. We will gladly pay for each.

Im loving it so far. Im using a stylus and it almost feels as good as playing an ARPG with a mouse. The Diablo references are awesome. We love the comedy twist on the butcher and all the other Diablo characters. Cool game.

Great game to play on iPad. Sessions are short when you need them to be short. Three different heroes add to the game variety. It takes getting used to clicking the screen with your finger. When you miss it can be quite annoying. Would be nice to have a dedicated button to smash instead of a monster. We wish there is a controller support like on switch version. Also not sure if the full power of iPad Pro is being leveraged. Would be nice to see a bit more sharp image. Overall it goes to collection of great iPad games.

Ill bet this ends up being considered better than Diablo: Immortal by many fans of the genre. In a lot of ways the developers understand what makes a hack and slash game fun. Theres no pay to win aspect, and the core gameplay design is well thought out. You can pick it up and play on your time. If you are waiting for a Diablo: Immortal competitor look no further, and you just might find that this game ends up being better.

We enjoyed this hack and slash game. The tutorials were helpful, game play was easy to master, and there is a lot of flexibility in developing your cards, which gives your character the powers. We played the warrior and just kept adding to our mana as our character increased levels; there are enough heart bonuses throughout the game, and you really need the blue energy for equipping your cards. Once we beat the Arch-Demon, the free play was fun as well. Nice to have varying levels of difficulty. The higher difficulty levels randomly gave you cards from your deck at each dungeon entrance… You cant change these until you finish that particular dungeon. Finally, bosses can disable cards… But there are ability cards which prevent the boss from disabling a card (sometimes to the right, left, or both sides).

Archer needs a standard arrow button, so if we want to stand our ground and shoot some vases we do not need to waste our magic arrows.

Love this game, runs smoothly and offers great gameplay and an engaging story. Highly recommend.

Awesome game. We love the way you have seamlessly integrated old style hacknslash with the modern card craze. Cant wait to see what else you have coming in this series. What we would love to see is something like this, but with more freedom to explore the dungeon rather than linear path based and a little bit of the old craft ability which could be interpreted as being able to combine artifact, item and magic cards to create unique player combinations. Id also like a little more story. U seem to have great writers(love the humor). Let them loose!

The same game is on steam but we wanted to save a few bucks and purchased here instead. If you like rpg dungeon dives, then this is the game you are looking for.

Easy to understand controls – just tap like crazy. A later day Diablo. Village dialog is clever. Like the fact that you can control the length of a particular round. Still figuring out the card part.

Really well done port from the PC version. Runs great on a 2018 iPad Pro. Touch controls are well done, even preferable to using a mouse. Easily worth $5.

If youre into indie games with one hero and an old school feel, then this is the game for you. Also, no in app purchases once you pay the 4.99.

Played on Steam, fantastic gem of a game. Finished with multiple characters. Loved it enough to buy it again on iOS. Glad we did! Turns out its even better on IOS. This game was made for touch control and we find it easier to play by touch than with a mouse.

We’ve only spent about an hour playing this game but so far its great. The best part is you only have to pay for it once. Our favorite feature of the game is that there is that you can adjust the size of the dungeon to fit how much time you have which is perfect for between class or if you want something you can just pick up whenever. Great job!

One part Diablo, one part idle clicker… Book of Demons mashes those two worlds and does it exceptionally well! One of the only problems that affected our play through, ironically enough, was the touch attack controls. Its sometimes difficult to see where youre tapping because your hand naturally obstructs the view. Tapping on shields or other special abilities becomes a battle unto itself. Perhaps making those icons larger for mobile versions would be a benefit. Otherwise, 5/5. Definitely worth your hard earned cash.

We have put probably 10 plus hours on this game and have loved it. First off, there are no in app purchases. Secondly, this game has loads of replay ability. Highly recommend!

Great combat, fun variations of cards, and thrilling choices to push further deep with high risk-high reward situations we used to play it on PC with controller so if the developers would implement it on this version as well thatd be great!

Lots of rules, cards that we cant figure out how to use, and very repetitive. Waaaaaay too much dialogue, waaaaay too many instructions, and we were bored after 10 minutes of play. Total waist of $5 – thats probably why they dont let you try it before you buy it because you wouldnt buy it once you try it.

So we’ve played it for a while now, and we honestly don’t understand where the fun is supposed to be. You bounce around, tap monsters and kill them, and, that’s it? It’s very repetitive. You pick up a bunch of cards, which we thought would be interesting, but then you can’t actually use the cards because you can only hold a few cards at a time. This is the part we don’t understand. You can pay coins to open up more slots, but it’s so grindy. Not our type of game, we guess.

Amazing game! Im playing it after getting up in the middle of the night. Incredibly creative. Brilliant graphics, brilliant sound, brilliant game play. Different each time you play. Masterpiece!

It’s a great game. Much clearer and more beautiful than the switch version. The only problem is control. Its "optimized" control constantly require two finger gestures, and tapping on a specific demon, which makes it hard to play when iPad is hand held on the road, like on a bus. Please add in a virtual gamepad support. Thank you.

The stats button on the lower left is very difficult to tap. You had better increase the tap area of it.

Great game, but with iPads being used with keyboards and mice now, it needs to add these as input options. Using your fingers covers item pop ups, makes it hard to cast spells, and just not as good of an experience as on devices with keyboard and mouse input options. Until this is added, this game is not recommended to buy on iPad. Buy it on another platform instead.

Want to stand away and shoot at the enemy? Nope, you will constantly run at where you are clicking to fire. We really liked the rest of the game. The leveling and cards are cool. Controls stink.

Excellent game. Very much like Diablo.

Loved this game on our PC, so glad to be able to play it again on our iPad wherever we go. Beautiful graphics, fun gameplay, and a good sense of humor, this one is a must for RPG fans.

The amount of work put into this game is amazing. No micro transactions, fun gameplay, and actually challenging bosses. If you like diablo or hearthstone this game is perfect for you. Worth way more than $10.
