What Makes Bowman Stand Out
This version of Bowman is better than all previous versions.
If you wish to play the original game, simply turn off the Wind, Wall and Fatigue features within the game settings.
This latest version has it all. It has many options which you can turn on or off depending on how challenging you want it to be.
Bowman is a highly addictive classical game. Even if you've never heard of it before, play it just once and you'll be hooked.
The object of the game is to shoot arrows at your opponent and kill them before they kill you. It's a battle against your opponent to see who can accurately judge the angle and strength of the shot to make the arrow land on your opponents body.
A head shot inflicts the most damage while a shot in the chest takes second place. Everywhere else on the opponents body inflicts less damage.
To shoot your bow, simply drag your finger across the screen and you'll be presented with a trajectory plus angle and strength (power) information. Release your finger to release the bow.
You can play Bowman against the iPhone or against a friend.
To make it even more entertaining, we have also included a bird shooting game. You'll have to shoot as many birds as you can within 3 minutes and then let your friend try the same. Hopefully, you will have shot more birds than your friend.

This game is really cool and fun, but you guys really need to update for the new iPod Touch or iPhone 5 and Retina Display.
Bowman is a great game. The only problem is that you should be able to turn the system on the other side so that if you're right handed, it's easier. Other than that, it's nearly perfect.
This app is great since they updated it again it use to not work but now there are more options and a lot more it is just like on computer we luv it we highly recommend this app!!!! :).

We liked the new update except for the decreesing strenght on the vs iPhone mode. That messes up the syretegy for the game, find the angle and use it. Which is hard to do when your stamina changes. Good job messing up a good game. But bird hunt is awsome.
We are so happy that our favorite games from addicting games are coming to the iphone. This game is just awesome it works perfectly, it hasn't crashed, it doesn't lag, and it's addicting.
Two things that this should have (that the computer game has) is the ability to shoot the arrow 90 degrees and hit yourself and ability to hit two birds at once.
It's worth paying for it. We like bowman on the pc when we saw this, we bought it.

Could you bring back the bird hats when you hit a bird at a 90 degree angle so it lands on your head.

We hate wasting money and read every review before buying apps even after good reviews we're still apprehensive. The graphics looked cheap and it looked boring, PEOPLE THIS GAME IS ADDICTIVE!!! We find ourselves using our entire lunch break playing this. Get it!!! Five stars.

Very addictive. Graphics could use a tune up, but still very awesome.
We love the new update! Mainly, the part were you can shoot 2 birds with one arrow. We hate the fatigue and stuff, but at least we can turn it off in the settings menu. Even though we hate it, thanks for the fatigue and stuff, cause it gives us more things to screw around with! YAY.

Awesome game, and LOL we got it when it was free however since the update ive noticed that ganeplay is slightly laggy… Fix this and it will own.
The new update is simply amazing! It adds tons of new modes and options that really enhances the user experience. They really nailed it this time! And we don't know why people hate the new power bar, it actually balances the game and makes it more realistic. So stop whining people and just play the damn thing already.

If you are having trouble with the arrows going slow it's because fatiuge is on. Open bowman go to settings and put fatigue off. Other wise loved the update.
This is really good especially now that we have an update with leaderboards. This is so worth 1.00. It kills alot of time when we're on the bus.
This update is great! Best archer game on the iPhone. The controls are perfect and play really well. We were a fan of the original on the computer now we love having this with us wherever we go.

Good game but v 1.2 doesnt install if you are updating.
Let us start off by saying that we love the game. But we have tried three times to update the app to version 1.2 but it never works. It says that it is updating it but then there aren't any changes. This needs to be fixed.
This is an excellent game and an excellent idea for a game. It just won't let us download the update.
