We like the ability to play the same tile arrangement over and over as a memory challenge. This is the only developer who makes this feature available.
We love this game! But apple said we cant play unless you update. Are we protesting something? If so, let us know!!! If not, can we have our golden girls game back? We get picked on for loving this game but idk. Unless we are taking a stand for something, just let us know.

We love playing this app. However, we just received a message that this version will be incompatible with any future updates. As there is no update for this app, we urge the developers to do so, so that we, and other players, may continue to play this in the future. ADDENDUM: we can no longer play this game, because it needs an update for iOS 11.

This was one of our favorite apps to play. It's very quiet and soothing, but a challenge to score max points and remove all tiles. It no longer worked and we popped a line to MobileAge and they actually responded saying they would do an update. Hurray! The new images are updated and crisp. Playing wind style works again. Having so much fun.
We just had an email that stated: The app has been re-built in 64 bit code so it's compatible with iOS 11. All known issues with iPad, iPad Pro, iPhone 6/7 are resolved. Update coming Sunday, Sept 10. This note included: Please note: this update will only be to the paid full version of the game, not the free Lite version, and Shanghai 2.0 will increase to $1.99 Owners of the full version can upgrade at no charge.
This is our go-to game and we've had it probably 5-6 years. However we keep getting warnings (from Apple?) that this game needs to be updated or it will be unavailable after a soon-to-released iOS update. We've contacted the developer several times asking if an update is planned; the first inquiry was answered saying they were thinking about it, but subsequent inquiries have gone unanswered. We'd pay 99 cents for their other advertised game which looks the same, but it's only Version 1.8 and the soon to be abandoned is Version 1.6.4. Version 1.8 may not have a long life either (but we don't know about that). Come on developers, give your loyal fans the courtesy of a response. Is Version 1.8 worth our 99 cents? What's your guess as to how long will It last? We'll really be disappointed to lose this game. We may have to resurrect our iPad 2 and NOT download any more iOS updates. We're serious! Your fans want an update.

We ABSOLUTELY love this game!!!! This game so fun! We love laying down and just playing this game! This game is perfect for long car rides and airplanes. We totally recommend it.
A very fun and relaxing game to play whenever we have spare time.
One of our favorite apps. An enjoyable game to unwind with as it is easy to play without causing frustration. A fun fortune appears when you clear the board. You get a choice of 2 layouts, a basic tileset, and a simple background. Want more choices? These can be purchased (each is a separate purchase, so if you buy the additional layouts you do not also get the additional tilesets) inside the app. There is a little clock that tells you how long it took to clear the board, but it is easily ignored. Our sole complaint is there is no ability to restore purchases. We had this app on an older device and have since upgraded. In downloading this game to our newer device, we lost the layouts we had paid for so we will have to pay again. Only $1, but still. The ability would be nice.
Never had any problems with this game. Although we did get a little bored with no upgrades in it. Maybe some more tile arts and backgrounds. For the holidays :) would love some new stuff :) Over all experience has been great and relaxing :) good to pass time on our days off next to reading lol.
For its memory requirement it is a very nice game with lots of time wasting potential. Enjoying this one.
We enjoy this game tremendously. The only problem Is our Mother cannot enjoy this on her Samsung Galaxy 3. We hope that this gets to the right techs so that she can enjoy this on her Verizon, AT&T phone. If this were more accessible other than IPhone apps than more consumers could enjoy the enjoyable features of iTunes. Not everyone can support Safari on their computers and cellphones. It limits the users for music, game, move apps and etc from enjoying the apple experience. The game apps on Apple are addicting and it limits other cellphone users; from enjoying the free music apps and the records put out by the artists in different genres. We love this game and play it often, never have experienced any problems. There are choices of tiles and layouts. There is a small timer that runs at the bottom of the screen, so if you want to challenge yourself to quickly clear the board, you can (our personal best time is 1:10). But the clock is not conspicuous and does not make any sound, so if you'd rather just relax or play with a child, you can do that too and take as long as you like. We use it both ways and find it mentally stimulating without being frustrating.
This game is very fun and a time consumer! Great gameplay.
This is the-best so far. The visuals are great, large & easy to see, not tiny like other apps. You have to pay a mere 99 cents for the extra tile set layouts but it's well worth it. They are beautiful. LOVE THIS GAME.

This a fantastic free app. They ask for donations at the end of each game but so what, they gave you the game for FREE! Fair is fair. This game is fun and entertaining. We love it.
Great graphics, plenty of boards. We would like to see a way to turn the timer off so you could just relax and enjoy, and the "random" feature could be a lot more random as there are a dozen or so boards that pop up repeatedly.
It's a classic! We love the layouts. Very relaxing, so we use it for short breaks from our on-the-go son. Peace in, peace out. ;.).
It's a good game we give it five star we finished in five minutes we're ten years old we have an iPod touch we love apple.

This is our go to game. Ive been playing it for years & now wont work with IOS 11. Please update.
Why hasn't there been an update since May of 2012. Our app says it needs to update now so that we can keep playing after the iOS is updated to 11.0.0.
Fun to play till we got to level 81. Only 1.5 minutes to remove 86+ tiles. Not enough time and tired of buying more stones. Going to quite if you do not give more time.
This is our favorite of the online Mahjong games – we've played it for relaxation for several years.
The windstorm is one of our favorite features of digital mahjong. The windstorm on this one isnt working right. According to the instructions: if the compass is pointing north-south, then any tile that can freely move up OR down can be chosen. When the compass points east-west, any tile that can freely move left OR right can be chosen. But in this app, it is AND, not OR. So both sides have to be clear: clear up and down, clear left and right of the tiles. So this needs to be fixed: either the instructions are correct and the app isnt working right, or the instructions are wrong and the app is working correctly.

Absolutely love this game and it worked great until IOS 11 came out and now wont work at all because it hasnt been updated for 5 years! Please update so we can use the app.
It's a great mahjong app and we love to play it but the fortunes can be so rude.
We LOVE this app. This is the nicest, most fun version we've ever seen, and we've played it for years. But the download for our new iPad Pro is frustratingly defective. The bottom half of the screen is black, and a quarter of the game itself lies off the screen, so one basically can't play it. There are no options available to change anything. We're SO looking forward to the makers of this game to produce an update.
Needs another new update !!!! Can't download the paid tile sets and background pictures for the iPad game mahjong.
Game can't detect an Internet connection so you can't get updated tile sets.
