Alice was out for a nice evening jog, when suddenly a stranger pushes her off a bridge into the river below. Grabbing for anything within reach, she catches a piece of a mirror that magically transports her to another world. What used to be Wonderland is now a dark reflection of itself called Shadowland, and the people of the land are crying out for a hero to save them!

Loved the mini games and hidden objects. Especially liked we could skip them to continue on with the story if we wanted to. Fair cost for the amount of time the game took to play.
This will be up there with our favorites. Although, we really wish that the Guide was readily accessible in the game. But we are sure they have their reasons. Shadowland has some great puzzles, games and HOAs. There were only a couple that we really struggled with. Although, most of them are good challenges. You wont go wrong if you get this one. And play it again and again.

We enjoyed this game and its nuances. We enjoyed the Dana Knightstone series and was sad when we couldnt keep playing them. Hopefully, this series of gams wont go anywhere anytime soon. Our only complaint would be the music choices. Got really repetitive and annoying, but turning it off makes for a dull experience. Id choose a different soundtrack.

We play a great many of Big Fish games and this by far our favorite. It has a great story, its nice and long and the graphics are very nice. Our favorite aspect of this game is that its not too dark. We have trouble seeing and was able to play comfortably. Well done.

Really enjoyed all the references to Alice in Wonderland. Lots of unique puzzles. Lots of different places to investigate. This is the first review we have ever written after playing hundreds of these types of games. Really enjoyed this one.
We too bought this game on sale!! Loved the story, graphics, characters, HOP and puzzles!! It made sense without being to easy or to hard!! We will play additional games in this series for sure!! Excellent.
Im giving it a 5 star because its been a long time since we found a game like this with interesting puzzles and taking us into different scenes to keep from getting bored. In our opinion, these kind of games should be much like this and one should never get bored during game play as long as theres a new place to discover. 5 stars and 5 thumbs up.
We have bought dozens of Big Fish games, and have enjoyed them. The translations are sometimes confusing, and plots can be repetitive or silly, but we love the puzzles. Alice is different! The plot keeps you interested and the voices are very well done. We found ourselves loving the story line and really getting involved, just like a good book. Thank you for such a well-crafted game.

We bought the game on sale but it would be worth it to pay full price. Its good and long, we wasnt taking our time with it at all and it still gave many hours of fun. The story is a cool twist on Alice in Wonderland and the main character is witty, we liked being her. The voice acting is good and not stupid, the cut scenes were enjoyable, and the puzzles were challenging but didnt frustrate us to the point of wanting to skip anything. Good music and the HOs were lovely and really detailed (you can zoom in) and changed things up frequently too, sometimes lists words or by silhouette, by association, or have to combine stuff in the scene to reveal an object, etc. We liked the customizable difficulty settings and the map was useful. Nothing was glitchy. Lots of hmm and oh good! We know what to do with this! And gasp! Oh no! Ill save you! Theres a little pull-menu to tell you how many morphing objects/cards are left to find in a scene and at the end of the game you can travel back to anywhere you missed something. The tasks were varied so nothing felt repetitive. Our only complaint is the story ending was a bit unsatisfying, but the bonus chapter kind of made up for it. Overall we had a lot of fun with this game. Would recommend.
Love it! Only had 1 issue with a mini game, couldnt change paint colors, but otherwise its been fun. We love most Big Fish HOP games but would love to see more than just white people for the majority of characters.
We very seldom rate games, but this one was quite enjoyable! Usually the mini-games are annoyingly too hard to crack, but these mini-games were much easier to solve but not stupidly easy.

Great storyline, very creative. Although the objects were mostly some sort of key that opened a drawer or something, we did not feel that took away from it because it was so creative. Great graphics. Great characters, based loosely and amusingly on Alice in Wonderland of course. HO games were not too hard, but not dumb easy. The other type games were very visual, which is a disability of ours, but we never got too frustrated waiting for the skip button. We feel it was pretty long, as it took us about six hours. Glad we got it! Have fun.
We really enjoyed this game. We are tired of the evil in most of the new games, and this one was fun, and an interesting twist on a familiar tale.

We thoroughly enjoyed this game. The graphics were colorful and quirky. Lots of HOP and a lot of new kind of puzzle that were not too hard but challenging. We used the skip by accident and was bummed we didn't get to solve it. On the whole we would recommend this game to who likes a back story and explains it as you go along. It is Alice in Wonderland with all the characters. We very sad it's over we really would love to play another light hearted game. We really enjoyed this game. We don't write reviews often, but had to for this one. Now we're on to the bonus ,hope it long! LindaL.
Great different HO puzzles, graphics terrific, inanimate objects also interact when touched, liked finding the cards and morphing objects as a sideline, puzzles were very different, length of game great.
We are so happily surprised that this is a great game. Being a play on Alice in Wonderland where instead of a queen of hearts its a king of hearts. This could have been a real bad game quickly but its a fun wonderful game to play. The graphics and colors are so beautiful. Plenty of HOS & mini-games that keep you interested plus a storyline that is easily followable. Sometimes the story of some of these games is so convoluted we end up not paying attention to the story after a while. Thanks for a fun and entertaining game.

We love the reworking of Alice in Wonderland.
The games starts out kinda amateurish but gets harder the further we got into the it. We finished the game without any glitches. The story is good and the mini games are awesome. We didn't like that the game cutoff our music as background.
There were definitely new features in this game. That took a little getting used to – but they were a refreshing change from the same old stuff. HOS were better than average and there weren't too many of them. Most mini-games were challenging yet do-able. It all adds up to a nice package.

Fun game … Our only problem was that we thought the games and puzzles needed better, more detailed instructions.
We just finished the main game and we loved the length of it and the variety of the HOP's. Also enjoyed the special touches like flowers and flames that change colors when you touch them, or objects that move or make sounds when touched. Granted those little extras aren't necessary to the story/game play, but we think they are signs of a quality game. If the developer takes the time to add these extras, it seems likely they would also put great care into the game itself. Looking forward to the bonus game.

One of the best games that we have recently played. Everything was amazing: story plot, the characters, graphics, animation, bright colors, music, mini games… Playing Shadowland is a real treat. Also, if you ever liked Alice in Wonderland , you will enjoy this game even more. Thank you the developers.

Game is fun. Graphics are lovely and colorful. It's easy but not so much that it is not challenging. Filled a lot of hours, but you are not so tied to it, that you cannot come back and step right back to wonderland.
