What Makes Brotato:Premium Stand Out
A top-down arena shooter roguelite where you play a potato wielding up to 6 weapons at a time to fight off hordes of aliens. Choose from a variety of traits and items to create unique builds and survive until help arrives.
The sole survivor: Brotato, the only potato capable of handling 6 weapons at the same time. Waiting to be rescued by his mates, Brotato must survive in this hostile environment.

We dont usually review games on our phone, but this one is an exception. We decided to give Brotato a 2nd chance after not clicking with the Steam version, and its been very fun! Theres a good amount of strategy and surprising difficulty in runs, while still being unique in this roguelike Vampire Survivors genre. Our main issue with Vampire Survivors is that its too easy and repetitive and didnt give us a reason to return to it after completing the 2nd DLC. Brotatos shop based strategies differentiate it from the rest of the genre, and its topped with a cute style thats easy on the eyes. Its like this game was made for mobile, check it out if you love strategy games.
Tato is a great game there are many ways to go and lots of strategies so we think its a very great game if u are smart enough to know how to strategize.
Needs Backbone support of iOS. Otherwise great. Only the analog stick works for us on iOS.
OK, so the point of this is, we have no idea how to do the things that are in the video somebody please help us cause we have no idea how to do it and all we wanna do is unlock the obliterate and nuke so please help us.
This incessant asking for reviews ruins the game experience. Also a feature complete version of the desktop game would be nice, including mouse support.
The cursed weapon has too much difference in strength from the item and computer version.

Second best game we ever installed. First is btd6. Both are perfect though.
We were really hoping that this would be closer in updates to the Steam version. Bought the game. Bought the DLC. Hoping it can become a 1/1 clone of the PC build in the near future. If not. Its still well worth the few dollars, (IMO, obviously). Thank you for everything youve ported over so far.
You hit difficulty 5. Ive been hit out in the open, hit boxes seem to shift for the worse and enemies will move out of pattern ( this is probably the most justified thing we tend to rage out on ). However we thought it was just us until sinking some hours in tonight on the game, but our character randomly freezes up, PARTICULARLY the better items we get. The game doesnt stutter, runs super smooth etc., our character will just stand still. Then it becomes a split second difficulty in trying to regain control of the situation in a difficulty already stacked against you in combination of our previously listed gripes. So all in all we tend to play easier difficulties as that odd freezing character glitch seems to suddenly either go away or happen an incredible amount less. Gripes aside, our honest critique is the games depth is locked behind its difficulty. Its not a super in depth game for its genre, if you are decent at it you will blow through it so to speak. Part of the reason being you only unlock items and/or characters ( usually one of each give or take ) per run depending on certain conditions. No item re rolling, banishing, improvement, etc. As far as the good goes it is incredibly addicting, runs very smoothly, and is easy to get lost in. Despite our average rating we will be continuing on and blasting away, knowing to simply take the highest difficulty in stride given the odd nature in which its applied. Many characters to choose from, many weapons to wield and play styles to have fun with! Thanks for the game, devs! Pretty entertaining.
The best game when bored and action packed with lots of different characters.
We are so happy we found this version. We really like the steam game and think the gameplay has been translated really well into mobile format. If youre nostalgic for the time period of games where you unlock characters and items through specific challenges and creative solutions, this will scratch that itch.
Great PC port. Controls take a little to get used to but its alright.
Up there with slay the spire in terms of mobile ready games that were built for pc. Dont sleep on this.

This game is a lot of fun. Works well on our Imac and has controller support that works without having to configure. This is a game that is going to have a lot of time placed into it and the price is excellent for having so much fun.

Look, The game is really fun and perfect but the the free brotato have some different stuffs compared to that one that we dont think its fair For example on the free one we got the talent cards and on the time that you can choose a attribute you have 5 choices and on that one 4!!! And the worst is that we paid for that. But the game its A M A Z we N G and suuuuuuuuuper fun. We super recommend download the free one and buy the vip.
The PC version of Brotato is an all-time classic in this genre but the mobile port needs some significant attention in terms of difficulty and scaling. Other people have commented on the same issue here in the reviews and on the Reddit forum as well. Hopefully the dev puts more time into this.
Brotato is a great game, you can read other reviews for that. But this mobile port has some very large and gamebreaking bugs that make it far far more difficult than the PC version. Some of the highest impact bugs: -The Butcher elite on wave 11 attacks much faster than the PC version and as a result is extremely difficult to beat -Certain enemies that speed up on wave 16 can speed themselves up over and over making it impossible to run away from them -Some items dont work correctly or at all. The Snake item doesnt spread burning, Knockback does not seem to be applied properly (or at all), Bandana doesnt work on weapons with zero pierce to start, and burning damage does not stack or increase with elemental damage properly. All of these bugs make several characters very difficult to the point of being almost unwinnable. Combined with the poor mobile joystick design (please let us adjust the size!), these bugs make the game a much worse experience than the PC version overall.
So we bought the game and we were playing it and we tried unlocking some characters like the cryptid but we realized hes not in the game, is he ever gonna arrive to the game because there are some characters here that we really want that is not in the game.
It dose not have jack, lich, or cyborg. It also needs the new weapons. We know it take a while but please add them.
Its a great game but everything is uncomfortably zoomed in when compared to the android phone version Ive played.
We love how youre able to fight off enemies and the sound it makes where you kill him is so satisfying.

Brotato is an enjoyable survivor styled game. Quick matches and tons of build options adds a lot of replayability. This port is pretty good. Though Id likely give 5 stars if there was better support for using keyboard and mouse similar to the game on steam.
Whenever we pick to upgrade attack speed it gives us regular speed.
Gameplay is pretty fun overall. Our issue are with bugs, 2 examples:1) tooltip for a character got stuck open and could not be dismissed until we manually restarted the entire game, which was annoying. And 2) as soon as we cleared wave 20 the game froze and we can no longer open it passed Loading.. So uh, we cant even play now.
This game is a time sink if you get good rng. A new experience every run.
The program testor should be fired since so many obvious bugs appeared every time major version updated.
Why does the speed we get become the attack speed? Is this a bug.
The attack speed % upgrade between rounds now upgrades mvmt speed and does not affect attack speed. This seriously affects gameplay and strategy. It would be nice if this was fixed so we can put the well-deserved five star rating back in place.
Enough said. Look up the reviews on Steam if you must. Its the same game and iOS implementation is good.

You need this one. This is arguably the best phone game ever. Its not trying to do everything. Its a game to play for fun, and it delivers. We found this game via DF, for those who know. Game is excellent. Play it and be happy.
