Once you get to certain levels its obvious you cannot move forward without paying for lives etc. Its not fair that you can buy lives and be on a level where the game keeps showing no possible moves and you cannot even play. How is that even fair?? You would think no matter what you can always have a chance? Nope, some levels they can make it to where you can never win. We are deleting the app because we are on that kind of level now, its been almost two weeks and theres only 3 tries on this level to win, and often times 2 of the 3 times it wont give you ANY moves so unless you get it on one try (which you cannot) you just lose every time, unless you give them money. What a scam.
Some of Star Stone levels are almost impossible to beat and are just NOT FUN! We hate them! We’ve played this game for several years now, and we hate that we have to suffer through some lands that are nothing but Star Stones to get to the next one. AND use a bunch of our bonuses to advance just so we can get out of this land. Get rid of this part of your game and create something new!
We were up to level 462 & now cant get it back . Had to delete cascade & reinstall , but made us start from beginning Now we cant even get it to open Now we deleted it for good ( too bad it was one of our favorite games)
March 28,2021. The problem continues. It runs the ad, then collapses the game and we have to reload. Down another star. April 11, 2022: latest glitch is that EVERY TIME we win a game, the game closes itself, and we have to start it up again. You guys arent even trying to get along. A game should be fun, not a frustrating job. June 10,2022: the game will not open. IT WILL NOT OPEN. If we have to remove it and add it back, we will not bother to add it again. April 2, 2023. We applied your update. Now the game does not open at all. Too bad we cannot give negative stars. April 16, 2023. Still will not open. No comment or apology from (mis)management. No update to repair their broken game.

After many years and having to wait for new worlds to play everything was wiped out.
Since the last update the game wont open on our iPad.
Great fun to play especially waiting for doctors visits.
Ever since we got an apple phone like 5-6 years ago we refused to upgrade because they couldnt put our cascade game on. Well we finally got an upgrade and the guy that sold us them phone was able to thats the only way we were getting a new phone. We loooove this game please dont ever stop making it.

We completed Land 132 and have now been waiting for a month for the next land. We have been playing treasure caves, but am tired of not getting 3 stars on any of these games and want us regular play back. We read many other reviews and we have to agree with a lot of folks who watch ads and dont get their reward, or game freezes and you have to shut everything down and start up to continue play. Its a fun game, best match 3 we’ve played, but come on already – update please.
Overall fun game. But Im deducting points for the Treasure Caves. There are some cave levels that seem impossible to clear or are unclear on how to complete. Examples: C14-3 Orange Bombs, C12-4 Get the Red Out. These levels continually spawn the noted color pieces so Im not sure how you are supposed to clear them. We thought getting Free Spins by using all pieces would help but that doesnt seem to be the case. Used wild pieces to clear the reds and more spawned. This is frustrating and a waste of time.
We actually really loved this game till it glitched and we lost 300 gold, THAT we PAID FOR. Not cool.
Every time we play this game,its going to a blank screen and right back to our home screen. Please fix this issue or do another sequel to it.
Aug 2022: Glitches with ads. Implodes on itself. Blank screen. Doesnt reload. Previous review: This app is so much fun. You get plenty of chances to advance. Plus, you get plenty of time to play Cascade. You have vines and boulders to destroy. We can’t say enough about this app. It’s for adults and children. Great job!!
We have played this game for probably 10 years. We think it was the first game we ever downloaded, and Im nearly to level 2500. We are very thankful to the developers for keeping it free, and ad- free. It is our go to game when we want to disconnect a little bit at the end of the day and we just cant say enough good about it. We have never experienced any issues or problems connecting or running out of lives and not having enough gold to buy more. A true gem in todays world of games that have ads every 15 seconds. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!
Extremely fun game but, Why do we always have to download or update every time we use the game? Im not always available to cell service as we are a flight attendant so most of the time our phone is on airplane mode, we are then unable to play the game. Some levels are impossible to pass.
Its too bad that youre only option to save your game and get daily prizes is to connect to Facebook. Ill never support that despicable company. Ill have to stop playing this game when we lose our game.
Just had the same problem as reviewer from 2/10. Would not let us proceed without reconnecting with either Facebook or a mystery account. When we did hit one of the buttons it sent the game to the beginning! We have bern playing for years, even staying the course when months went by with no progress in solving the puzzle. Im deleting this now, because we have no desire to waste time replaying the hundreds of puzzles we solved.
We have been playing Cascade for a few years now, and at one point it was our favorite game. Then,downloading new content entered the picture, and started to become annoyingly time-consuming. There were several stages of this, and finally we just didnt have enough patienceit took the fun out of the game for us. We did miss it, though, and lately we began to play again. However, surprisingly, the download issue was still the same. Apparently it was not seen as a problem by the developers. We decided that if it was going to be an ongoing condition, we would have to tolerate it if we wanted to play. So we did. Suddenly, though, When we opened Cascade, we were returned all the way to the beginning! We havent been able to solve this. We tried reconnecting with Facebook (dont know how it was disconnected) , and even reinstalled the app. Nothing worked. We are very disappointed, but we just cant cope with starting over, after making it to Level 2500 or so. We would appreciate it if there were some fix, but we doubt that there is any interest in doing that. We hope this behavior isnt a common occurrence for other players, because its very frustrating! Thanks for listening to our grievance!
We play this while on the elliptical. It lasts long enough for you workout (#of lives), the buttons are big enough to hit while moving and it keeps our interest. We like that theres strategy involved and that it changes from level to level. We also like that theres built in stopping points, so you can remember to go and do something actually productive. Have had this game for several years and its still one of our favorites, so we throw the devs some coin every now and then.
Always up to date waiting for next land to open (thousands of levels comepleted) all of a sudden we have been wiped out and back to 1 How ridiculously frustrating Was really enjoying our game but now am stewing.
So much fun, but would be nice to get more hearts,because of the hard levels, need to fix the bugs, lost our bonus fire because it lost our three won quest and can no collect it. Need more gold. Cant get help or give it. We were going to try and delete game, but it says we will lose all our data. No way. We are on the 1200 level. Long time getting there. Dont want to lose it. Since the last version update a week ago the game has regressed to the beginning land and wont update. Support keeps closing tickets without addressing the issue.

As of September 2021, cant load game. Just a black screen. Over a year playing this game and still not bored of it. It has the perfect challenge/fun ratio. Plus the Level Labs and Daily Challenges keep you engaged when you have to wait for a new land to open. Only improvement we would suggest is a secondary use for the RGB gems you collect.

Have never had this happen but the game doesnt come up total black screen. There is nothing wording with computer nor internet please fix it now its 2 days later and its still doing the black out thing if it doesnt seem to matter then Ill just opt out completely.
This is our favorite match-3 game. We’ve been playing it since it came out. But for a few days now it just keeps trying to download something and cant. Id have thought itd be fixed by now but maybe nobodys paying attention anymore.
We hate that it makes you beat levels youve already beaten to move to next land. Who wants to keep playing the same level they already beat over and over again.

Love it but havent been able to spin daily for a few days now.
Apparently the most recent update has managed to lose the connection with our Facebook account. Instructions say to go to settings and find the Facebook app. We are then supposed to tap on our name to somehow connect with cascade once again because we had updated our Facebook password. Well…. There is no name showing in the Facebook app under settings. We tried using the email associated with our Facebook, and now it tries to log us in as a new user rather than past more than 200 levels where we’ve been trying to move forward for weeks. Most of our friend stopped playing this ages ago because it is tedious, difficult or nearly impossible to pass some levels, and now Im back to zero. The designers need a wake up to the issues this game has with level of difficulty and lack of not being more enjoyable to overcome the frustration. Im going to hang on to it for a few days to see if something is done to fix the Facebook log in issues…. But then Im going to find something for a time killer that doesnt make us want to throw our phone because this deserves NO STARS right now!
Easy game to get lost in. And a year later still going strong!! One of the most enjoyable games we play regularly!!!

This game is awesome! There are enough changes and challenges to keep us interested. The new update provides new gems to collect and hidden levels, which we like. Update (April 2021) – we’ve been playing cascade for over 7 years. Still love this game! BUT….. Its been about a month since the last event of any kind (burst tournament/king of the mountain/level lab) and we do not recall a time where its been more than two weeks without SOME kind of event. Whats going on, cascade????
