To really beat the game you have to complete all challenges: Time challenge – beat the level within a specific time. Loved this game since we were in elementary school. We are now going to college and we can say for certain these games have never disappointed us. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of buying it. So happy its back on the App Store.
Very Fun, Just please add online play, balance changes -when trying to choose options in the great ledge map, the game crashes – When looking at the goblin peasants card, the icon in the top right is not visible -When there is Victory for the union, the golden leaves take up half of the emblem, including the name of the faction (union).
So glad they fixed it to run on current devices. Our kids and we used to play this ALL the time and was frustrated it hadnt been updated. Glad we just happened to look for it.

We cant believe this game is back.
Its such a quick game to pick up and play, its great with friends and there arent many other like it, adding a proper multiplayer campaign and more factions could really breathe more life into, would definitely support and buy a castle raid 3 if it ever comes out.

Glad to see the devs return! This was one of our favorite strategy games back in the day. The Head 2 Head mode is iconic and the best splitscreen-multiplayer-like experiences we have seen in mobile games as a whole. It is best experienced on an iPad.
We love this game. We bought a cheap android tablet for this and another game that stopped working after an iOS upgrade. Im delighted its back on iOS so we can play it on our iPad Pro. But – on both the iPad Pro and the iPad Mini the margins are wrong. Part of the edges are cut off. One cant see the indicator that the special weapons are available and cant see the full amount of accumulated income because the numbers are hidden off the edge. Please fix, thank you.
Sad to see in the past 10 years they havent touched this game, no new content or anything its been abandoned.
Say the game is not comparable with iOS 11 very unfortunate we love this game.

It is a really great game but can they make a new game or update a two player split screen campaign where we have are own money and troops but share the same castle and be teammates, can they please make a update or make a new game please it's a really great game.

You need multiplayer u can keep head to head but pls add multiplayer others wise it is a great game.
Castle raid is a fantastic game but we just want to go to the reaver terf.
Pls add an online mode for when you beat the campaign because it gets a bit boring and the idiots out there that say it's impossible to win or get past the first level are wrong, sure you HAVE to lose but you still get gems when you lose and then you upgrade and have a chance this is why stupid people shouldn't play video games.
Okay, you know how chest fall from the sky, sometimes they fall in a lake and our troops try to get it but they can't, so we lose because tons of troops are trying to get the impossible to reach chest. Fix that and add more troops and places. Tank you.
This is a MASSIVE improvement to Castle Raid 1! It has a reason to get you hooked because ya always wanna unlock the next character! In the old one, you only had the same characters. But in this one you can get a wide variety of different characters and combos to choose. Also, there is tons of new stuff like dragons, chests, challenges, level difficulty choosing, and much more.
Great game, but there should be more levels, endless mode and online.

This game is great. There is just the right amount of strategy involved for a small and quick real time strategy game. Love this game and it's predecessor. We liked the cut scenes, but they should be shorter and there should be more of them. Thanks.

An amazing game takes time and it's addicting but it needs an update like more levels,more enemies and more troops but an amazing game you should definitely download it.
We love this game. It is very addicting especially the head 2 head game mode. We've experienced very few bugs and only minor ones like the units stop moving briefly. Our only problem is that in head 2 head when you get good at it you find that the rouge, kings guard, and warlock are very under powered and it turns into a 20 min game of putting down units and eventually sneaking by a bomb runner or two for the win. We have tried countless strategies utilizing the kings guard and rouge and warlock but usually it's the person that has soldier archer and horse rider that wins which gets very boring fast. Giving the kings guard more health and less attack making it more like a tank would help for a lot of different strategies. Sorry for our rambling but we feel these changes would help the head to head game mode work better. Thank you.
Dear Castle Raid Creator, Sire, the people love the game but are going to add more battle lands soon? Our forces are poised to attack, we completed the green lands and can see the border of another land but can't enter it. Why? Please reply as we fear mutiny if we can't give them good news soon. Please add levels.
More maps, more troops and 2 players this is the perfect game if your on a long car ride you can play with your siblings. PLEASE MAKE CASTLE RAID 3.
We really want a number 3 because when we beat the game it took us a long time because it was so fun but after a long time it got boring so can you make a number 3 and new troops.
Like a simplified cross between Warcraft 2 and clash of clans.
Great little game to pass the time away. Not overly challenging, fun, and no ads.
We disagree with some of the reports the computer Does have limited resources. Also the campaign mode works really well, you just have to go back to the easier levels and play them over and over to get enough gems for upgrades it's that easy.
This game is surprisingly deep! PvP is a wonderful experience and the ballancing is great! It's almost like clash of clans minus the city building and the several day wait. CoC was cool because of the fighting. This takes it and distillates it to a fine cup. Way to go.

We disagree with other reviewers, while the game was a challenge on higher difficulties it could be over come by strategy. We could not see where the A.we. Was afforded some benefit we were not. If you play earlier campaigns on all the different modes and attempt to earn challenges you will sufficiently level up your crew to make later levels extremely easy. The best part of this game was the lack of in-app purchases when it came to the main campaign. Can't stand games that contestant want money. We can't wait for the next installment.
This game is great, we really recommend it. The makers don't make you buy extra coins or maps and we love that. We've been looking for a game where you don't need to buy extras. This is it. Also the 1 on 1 is really good.
Lots of fun. So nice to not be nagged by in app purchases. We can enjoy this game with our kids instead of worrying about them spending money on fake things.

It's freaking great! It needs multiplayer though.
The game is good as it is awesome and we love the graphics of the game and cutscenes. The cutscenes are Great and Awesome, and we can tell there is an update coming because we can see a mountain area that we don't think you can unlock. This game would be fun to play on pvp (player vs player) online. This game would be great with a bigger shop option, such as buying once use spells to use in the game to healing your troops or damaging your opponents, anything is fine, just don't make them over pricey and don't make any of the purchases have to be purchased with real money. This games troops are good and don't NEED to be added to, but it would be cool, because we like the troops you already have now. OPTIONAL (And it would be cool to have more modes in this or even a separate game including modern war, zombies, spaces wars, Vikings (this is similar to Vikings/ it's Medieval). But this can be better and more interesting then any of those, so don't be pressured to make these, just simple ideas.). We'd rather have you make updates to castle raid. It would be cool to have a ( we don't know what to call it, RPG?? Strategy??we have no idea) mode where you have a camp/castle where enemies attack and you have to capture new camps to expand you kingdom build walls and buildings and defend and earn money. Sorry if this is too long but we have SO MANY ideas. Use all of these besides the OPTIONAL ,use different modes , modern war etc.. This game is great and can get More greater and Awesomer (we don't know if that's a word, we think it is there's just spellcheck) Please use these updates and many mor great ones and the game is just great. Kind of a rts. Super fun and addicting.
While it's a great game, the different factions need units that aren't exactly the same in function. Unique factions is what makes rts games good.
This game is great, so much has been added from the first game and is definitely worth playing.
