STORYLINE:
The story begins in the whimsical milieu of 19th century Paris with our hero, Vincent Van Meowogh, a struggling painter residing in the ramshackle home of his late master. Drowning in debt and facing eviction, Van Meowogh must succeed as an artist and sell his paintings in order to save his home. Players help their faithful feline companion through the trials and travails of becoming a famous artist.
A charming ensemble of wealthy patrons, crafty merchants, and famous artists such as Dali, Picasso and others join the fun along the way. This is a really cute and fine game to play. Its like any matching game with power ups so its not hard to figure out. Just wish here was an English version so we can understand the story moving forward. Love this game regardless!
However, there is no actual English language option anymore, they should update the page to include this.
Loved playing this game, such pretty art but now we cant read anything in the game. Have to click on things, guessing what it says because of the language.
But now doesnt offer any support for english speakers. The info tag of the game should not say English. We love voiceovers and we dont need them to be translated but having subtitles would keep us engaged while playing same as the people from Dragalia did. The controls and the settings panel are in japanese too, so unless you are native to that language we dont recommend downloading the game. Its a shame.
We’ve had this game downloaded for as long as we can remember. And just like the other users, after coming back to not playing this game for about a month, the English option is completely gone! We love this game so much and all of us English users would really appreciate it if the English option could be restored once again! :)

We’ve just started playing and the story is so cute and sad, we love it already. We havent gotten to any of the really tough stages though, so lets see if our love lasts forever. Lol. So we’ve gotten the attic done and now Im having trouble with some of the other levels, we still really love the game though so Im going to keep it. Argh we are not so great at the game but still fun. Update: they changed the name from days of Van meowoh to cats atelier, no idea, why but we still love it! Still absolutely love this game, cant wait to see the anime! Update: still love this game! The cosplay feature is just the cutest! Update: The only downside we can see so far is the new heart system. We miss being able to give everyone a heart everyday. Update: several years later and this game is still too cute for words! Update: 2023 still wonderfully adorable.
This game was the absolute perfect game. We were obsessed and loved everything about it. Then one day, the language changed and we can no longer read anything!! The storyline was the best part of the game so we no longer have any interest in playing. We are extremely sad and we miss playing this game!! Please offer an English version again and we will change our review to the 5 stars it absolutely deserves.
When we try to play, everything is in Japanese. There are some English words and phrases here and there but for the most part, everything is in Japanese. Im having a hard time trying to figure out how to get it in English (in our iphone settings for the cat atelier app specifically, English is already set as the default language so its also confusing why everything is being shown in Japanese). If you could provide us some advice on how to fix it Id appreciate it! A side note – when we downloaded this games 4 or 5 years ago it played in English, we keep it on our phone because we really liked the game but Im not able to understand any of it anymore. Im hoping one day it changes.

We played this game religiously before they stopped translating it into English. Recently picked it back up, and while we cant appreciate the story as well as before (because we dont know much Japanese), we can navigate the game itself easily. Still fun. Still cute. Still wish there was an English version!

This was such a wonderful game we got a new phone recently and re-downloaded to continue the story so far and now we cant read it. The story was the best part of this game in our opinion. Just very sad and upset a game we loved pulled all English translation.
This game is great. Cute and great gameplay. We played it a while ago when there was an option for it to be in English, and adored it. We stopped playing it because they made an announcement that there would only be support in Japanese and since we dont speak Japanese we decided to get rid of the game. We wanted to play it again and re-downloaded it but we now cant understand any of it. Our only beef about it is that it is fully in Japanese and we dont speak that language and we cannot figure out how to switch it to English, if that is even possible. Otherwise we would give it 5 stars.

But honestly it use to be in English at least tell us you guys will sell out and sell it to a Japanese company or something. DONT download unless you can read Japanese. The graphic is nice and cute, and its just another match 3 games, so you know what to do. Loading time can be tolerable. But what we dont understand is the sub characters. They lie, deceive others, they are so mean, disrespectful and dishonest to the main character. Even the main character is mean to his only mice friend. It is just too discouraged to proceed story. Im simply curious what kind of people made this depressing story line. We hope they can create nicer game in future since their artwork and music is exceptional. Update – on Chapter 14 now Story getting so much interesting now. Kiki is still behaving like devil though, others are getting much nicer. Unique game. Another update – Ok you win. This game is improving amazingly. We love it. One of a kind. Go for it!
Maybe its not Japanese. We dont know the characters. But its not in English, except for a few words here and there. We cant find any setting to change the language. Gotta delete.
This game used to be our favorite until the English was removed and we cannot understand the text no longer. Still, its a greatly built game, but until translation is added again we wont play.
Hello, we started to play this game when it just came out, and we loved it! The story, the characters everything are amazing as we remember. And few years later we decided to return to this game, and right not there is no English, it is incredibly disappointing, because we would love to return back and just replay it. But no, for some reason we cant do that. PLEASE BRING BACK ENGLISH.

This game is very enjoyable and we REALLY like the art style and the fact that it isnt a cash grab. However, the screenshots implied that Id be able to play it in English, and we’ve only had it in Japanese so far. We wish we could understand the words! It seems to have a cute storyline.
This is a cute little game and we intend to keep playing it. Unfortunately, despite the screenshots there does not appear to be an English language option…
It is a very cute and fun game, there are so many issues all the time. Freezes easily (which caused many item/some money lost because it lost the data), takes at least 2-3 min to start the game, they cannot keep up with new stages, so keep repeating the same stages/games. Hope they improve.

We open it after not playing it for a month and it is in Japanese or some other language. We can’t change it back and uninstall thinking that if we reinstall it will be better. It does not fix it.

It took a while to get used to some of the weird animal noises, haha. But the story is sweet, and we love the music. Theres something nice about itit kind of grows on you :)
