Update: Cool new power-ups. Team mode is great. Slowed down the spin speed some. Still a GREAT multiplayer game!! Original: Very fun multiplayer game. Once you get accustomed to the dizzy-ing touch and go controls, you won’t be able to stop touching… One thing we must note about this game’s successful minimalist design and style is within seconds of seeing it in action, you completely understand how to play. Developing gameplay strategies comes later. Frantically fighting to touch your avatar first when a power-up appears adds tension to the already stressful, yet satisfying action. Great game to sit around with three of your friends and compete for title of King of Centrifued!

Finally a great solution to the family fighting over the iPad. This is a game we can play together. Well worth the money.

Love this game. Only wish you could change the score needed to win to make for epic, long games. Either way, totally worth buying.

One of the best local screen multiplayer games on the iPad. And we got it when it was free. Really cool.

One of the best multiple-people-on-one-iPad games we’ve played. Simple, original concept, executed well with clean graphics and good sound. Fun to play while waiting with friends or before putting your kids to sleep. We highly recommend.

This is just about the perfect multiplayer, single machine iOs game we have found.

Our siblings and we loved playing this game together, it was one of our favorites, but no longer can because of the update. We realize this is a really old game, but it would be great to be able to continue playing it!

We loved everything about this app, except that you need more than one person. The only thing that could possibly make this better is an AI. But everything else (minimalistic style, fun game, multi-touch, 4 player) was perfect. Loved the game.

We don’t know what was before, but king of opera is way better game.

It is standard practice for any app that makes sound to offer the user a method to turn them off. This app has no such capability.

A blast to play with friends over beers. Quick to pick up, so anyone can jump in on the action (even after several drinks!). A variety of power ups (and downs) keep things interesting, but enough room for skill to give you an edge. Definitely not single player. Get 4 P’s together for maximum shenanigans.

Our husband and we and our 8 year old son played Centrifeud tonight for the first time and we all enjoyed it! You learn to respond quickly if you want to actually control where your little colored wheel goes, and our 8 year old could definitely respond faster than we could! :-) It is a creative use of the iPad to treat it as a game board that everyone touches at once – definitely more fun than a pass and play game full of waiting.

Great game! Very accessible, everyone we’ve seen try it catches on fast and enjoys it.

We can’t stop playing Centrifeud! Please help us!

Usually gaming on our iPad is a solo thing. Even in turn-based where you are sharing the iPad with multiple players, your moves are isolated and only one person is using the device at a time. This game is totally different! Up to four people using the iPad at the same time! It is great to sit on a table at your local bar or restaurant and battle it out while you wait for your food and/or drinks. We also love the colors and design. It sort of reminds us of Tron.

This game has brought productivity at the office to a screeching halt. Such a brilliantly executed concept. Looking forward to the next release from this developer!

This is a really cool group game. Deceptively simple, and really fun when you get all 4 players in. Just played about 10 rounds in a row with a group of friends.

Fantastic party game. 1-button controls make it super easy for anyone to jump right and play.

Our pre-K kid beats us often honestly and yells "I love this game!". We haven’t found an option to adjust the speed of the spinning of the disks, which may be interesting to see how it would change the gameplay; That would be a cool update. Or to be able to sign in a name and keep a record of wins/losses to specific people. We didn’t think there could be a game that would work well for multiple people tapping etc on the same iPad, but this one is pretty cool.

Very addictive! Well worth the $.

We’ve really enjoyed the game. It’s like a mashup of hungry hungry hippos and air hockey. Really easy to pick up and enjoy and like many other reviewers have noted, it’s suitable for all ages and very approachable due to it’s one button mechanic.

Easy to pick up and play. Lots of fun to play with a large group around. It’s nice to finally have a multi-player game that does not require each individual player to have their own iPad.

New user to the ipad, and we were looking for a fun multiplayer game. We have to say we found one in Centrifued. This game is a blast, each game is it’s own and it does not take long to play. The simple art style and music help the atomoshere as well. Anyone can pick up and play as well. We played a game with our younger brother (6) and grandmother (72) with no issues at all. Very universal play style. Simple and fun, and the frantic pace of the game remindes us of Bomberman. This is worth the money. One finger and two dollars = smiles :)
