It is one of the best chess app game out there! Intelligently designed to work up abilities, cognition, rapidity, and plans to win each game.
Just started playing chess again after 40 years. We havent experienced any tech glitches, but it is annoying when the computer declares a draw when there are still pieces in play. We've tried to analyze the end game and realize that a checkmate could have been achieved with a perfect move, but we didnt notice it. While relearning the game we should be able to work out the solution regardless if it isnt the perfect move. It would be nice to have an explanation on the draw rule.

Has choice of music and boards and chess pieces you can ad an avatar and your name and unlike some games the queens are actually on the right starting square.
This game is a fun game it can get Intimidating but it is still fun you get to pick your name maker but your character go look like and you go to take your on intimidating but it is still fun you get to pick your name make your what your character girl look like and you go to pick her up or you can pick what your players look like and you could pick one for you one we recommend this game to all people who do not like to play that many sports this game is awesome.
If we could have tournaments with people online: Maybe you can, and we just cant find it. Very cool Chess Game! Challenging and Differing Difficulties! Good for practice to beat your pals.
Its just a tournament format of chess.com bots but without the take back which is unfortunate we made a mental mouse slip of playing a sequence in the wrong order which a quick take back would fix but sours the entire experience for us. Its supposed to be a fun app not treated like a actual tournament.
Great game except for the fake draws the computer pulls when theres a clear defeat.
This game is not bad but it is hard trying to tell the bishop from the pawn and the knlghts.
Not easy to recognize all the pieces.
Incorrectly handled a pawn promotion that would have resulted in mate. Appears to check if the opposing side has any legal moves (it did not) before allowing the pawn promotion. Promoting the pawn to a Queen or Rook would have been mate (e.g., g8=Q mate); instead the app declared a draw (e.g., g8 draw). We have been enjoying the app before this error was discovered.
They went overboard trying to animate the pieces and now its impossible to tell them apart. Is that a bishop or a pawn? Who knows. Great game as long as you dont depend on being able to see any of the pieces.
Although we like the game and how its set up anytime you are about to win they want to declare a draw but when its the other way around they give the computer ample amount of plays when it shouldve BEEN a draw. Also anytime you win too many times in a row when playing tournaments all of a sudden the system glitches and all you can do it start the entire tournament from level one. Just to get to play a tournament again. It seems as though the entire game is rigged. We remember we won so many times and then it just said we were disqualified from the tournament. We find there are other apps that may not be AS cool looking in appearance but you stand a chance without the system being rigged for sure. Ourselves and all our friends have the same issues with this app. So we downloaded others instead. You would think they would get it together but we guess its a way to keep you playing. In the end the computer will always win or a glitchy situation will MOST DEFINITELY OCCUR out of no where.
We dont like it because it wouldnt let us on the game it just liked us off.we dont want a game that wont even let us on.
There are many bugs. You cannot assign yourself a three character name such as Joe, Jim, Sam or Max. The board does not respond to some legal moves. There is no instruction here. Only practice. A very limited game program.
Occasionally freezes, but issue has appeared to have cleared up. Good practice app.
We have been repeatedly put in a situation where the game ends in a draw because the AI puts us in check in a situation where we only have one move for our king. We move out of check (our only move) just to be put back in check, and the AI and we repeat the same moves until the game automatically ends in a draw. Pretty disappointing.
We are pleased with this chess game.
On more than one occasion the app automatically calls a draw when Im literally within 2 moves of a checkmate. In our most recent game we were one square away from promoting a pawn while still having a bishop and rook in play and the app just calls a draw. There werent any consecutive repeat moves either. We just got back into Chess so maybe Im missing some rule.
We have googled it but not come up with any variation where a queen can castle, yet that has happened numerous times on this app. We also had two rooks castle! We are not crazy. It has happened at least 5 times. And we were in the middle of game, winning, we might add, then suddenly there's a draw.
When we try to go in the game it just crashes.
