What Makes Choice of the Vampire 2 Stand Out
Feast on the blood of a dying city: Memphis, 1873! Make your national debut in the Society, a conspiracy of vampires who convene in Memphis to elect a new "senator." The city burns with yellow fever, creditors howl at the gates, and the nascent Ku Klux Klan rises.
"Choice of the Vampire: The Fall of Memphis" is the sequel to 2010's hit "Choice of the Vampire," the epic interactive novel by Jason Stevan Hill where your choices determine how the story proceeds. The game is entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—but driven by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
What will you take from Memphis before the city collapses? Will you battle the Klan, or control them from within? Will you kindle a romance that transcends death? The choice is yours.
This Books game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:
We loved the first game years ago when we went through it first and we loved this one as soon as it came out. Ive recently revisited both and fell in love all over again. Please finish this story.
Its been years now since we played the original and then its sequel and Im still waiting to see how it all ends. This story has so much promise and so many pieces left unfinished. With the ultimate climax yet reached, its a shame that this intriguing story is still unfinished.
You are supposed to be able to continue your first character but you cant. There are also no good choices. Every decision you make leads to eventual disaster for you economically and socially. The first was good but the second is a huge letdown.
Choice of the Vampire 1 and 2 are the best games you have ever made please make a part 3 we must continue our story.
When is the next chapter coming out? It's been ages.
Both of the games were great, but we are to this day hoping you guys will make a third one, fourth one, and maybe even a fifth and sixth one? The game is very interesting to us and it would be a great experience to see how you guys would write a story as the timeline progressed and with it our characters strength and status. There are a lot of "it would be's" but really we hope you guys make at least a third game. Cheers.
An excellent follow up to Choice of the Vampire. We just wish there was more content. We await the next installment.
Choice of Vampire is in our opinion a wonderful thought that isn't executed effectively. The problems with this story is that it's too linear. Another annoying feature is that it forces you to partake in its confusing politics which introduces too many characters in such a short time. Lastly, a few people will be confused if they have similar play troughs, but we've found hat certain stats somewhat matter and will bring about an event you didn't chose. However, these actions feel weird and out of place. If you want to continue the first book, we say purchase it, but don't expect it to be too good.
You play for hours thinking something exciting will happen to redeem this boring story. It's a story about vampires where you expect some action – instead we get stuck having to make financial decisions for our character and that's as exciting as it gets.
Pretentious writing, tedious plot, give this one a pass unless you're a vampire aficionado who must read and play everything related to the subject.
These games are so addictive! We just can't get enough. They have a great story line, and keep us wanting more! The next installment needs to hurry up and come out! Can't wait much longer :D.
We loved this continuation and we hope more is to come. Must know how the story ends.
This and part 1 were amazing, and the next part we're sure will be great! All we need now is the next part, ironically.
It would have been a 5/5 if they did fix the save game functionality so we can continue our story without having to remake our character.
Unfortunately this version seems to be buggy. The save importing from part one is broken. When fixed you will enjoy this game a lot if you like time spanning choose your own adventure games. The impact of your choices and stats, and lack of authorial railroading makes the story even better.
This game would be very enjoyable if it could continue from our save file in the first game. It is weird being called Mr.Doe when we know that we picked a woman to play as and the name to call ourselves other than that we would be ok.
We loved the first Vampire game, and got so attached to our character that we HAD to buy the sequel to continue her story… But the second one won't import the save properly? That's wrong, and needs to be fixed immediately! Wish we could get our money back, because this game was a big fat waste.
It has a lot of history and politics though So it can be boring for some But we still. Can't wait for the third one.
We are honesty hooked on the choice of games and (though we don't really care much for the politics) we really enjoy the timeline. All these big events are happening in courses of years, changing the world as history should and it makes you really feel like an immortal. We, personally, love how our character is hallucinating about her past lovers. We hope to see the next installment soon.
Does anyone know what happened to the first part? Since the last update, the app won't work. And it's not on the App Store. And when we click on it from our update page, it just says it's loading.
….not as good as the first one. The sense of adventure is really toned down to be replaced by vampire politics. Look we hate politics in real life, what makes you think we're going to like immortal politics. Lol in all seriousness, it's kinda like how The Phantom Menace is to Star Wars, a lot of politics about some rebellion in the Society that we honestly didn't care about so neither did our character. Though it still has choice storytelling. Good buy.
It could have had some better plots to be honest, overall it's a good sequel and we'd buy it again. We wish there was more to it.
We can't wait for the next hope there's more action than there was in this one still good though.
It's more of politics of vampire really there not a lot of action but it is still a good through and can't wait for the next one.
We love this series and we are waiting for the 3rd installment, so we hope it will come out soon. Great job guys and keep it up.
It wasn't as good as the first. Also, it felt incredibly short. Hoping the 3rd one will come out soon, and be much better.
The first vampire was excellent 5 out of 5 this one though… Like the title says its setting up for something in the next one. Out of respect for the first game and knowing that it's leading to something big later Memphis gets 3/5 however hunting the rogue vampire was fun.
Kind of a let down. Bring back the old writing style or adventure.
This game is so boring. We couldn't even finish it. We expected to play a game about vampires. Instead we got municipal bonds and issues with 19th century education. We think we got about as much entertainment out this game as we do watching C-Span. Look it's obvious a lot of time was put into this but maybe next time make it actually about what you advertise in the title.
Loved this. It's like a choose your own ending book. And you can play a million times because of so many options.
The story continuously keeps one on his toes! We can't wait to read the next part of The fall of Memphis.
This was great, just like the first one. We just wish we could've seen Clotho one last time. We also wish it would've been longer! 4/5.
This game is very detailed, engaging, and really fun. We love the detail in the characters, settings and plot/subplot. We just wish there were more outcomes or more options. We've restarted the game at least a dozen times to try and do things differently. One question we have is, is it even possible to become the Senator? We have played acting totally engaged in the politics and made choices that raised the stats that we thought would help with that and we've also played completely ignoring the politics and it seems like the outcome is the same.. Don't want to spoil anything. Anyways, we highly recommend this text RPG. More people need to play it so we can ask each other questions.
We felt this sequal was a bit weak. Through the story we were continually uninterested and was struggling to pay attention to all that was said. We don't know how the author was able to make this seem so short while truly having so much to read at the same time. Despite the large amount of text we felt that not much happened in this part of the story besides change how others see your character. However we did like the way the story follows historical events pretty closely and accurately, but at this point we're hoping it gets better with the next installment.
The game was good but to short. It was fun but sadly there wasn't enough things about the cloth storyline either.
We wait for what seems years then get this as the sequel.
As a fan of the whole COG series it's really a shame that this one is such a let down. It really pales in comparison to its predecessor.
Been wait for this sequel for a long time and it turn out to be very disappointed. No endless love romance like the last one and it is very short. Just wait for choice of romances part 3 instead.
It's very short, we've been waiting so long, we bought all of their games. It feels like they just kicked us in balls.
This story was NOT even CLOSE to work the 2.99. It was really short. Too short. And 90% of the entire story was just recap from the first game. It has less choices, and the choices don't even require skill sets. Don't buy this. It's not worth it.
Really great story telling. As others have said it is a bit short, but maybe that's just how we played it. Can't wait for the next one.
We read alot of comments on this game that made us want to give up the choice of vampire series, and we just want to put things into perspective for u guys who are thinking of buying it. Yes:The game itself was shorter than usually but still meets the quality and ideas of the Choice of Games standard. Remember it IS a part two and If u play it over from part one rest assure it will be long enough :) this game was great, and while it is a bit pricey, we are eager for the next installment ^_^.
While we enjoy this series, we wish this part had run a little longer. The first part of tis series like it possessed more depth. Also, the time gap between this part and the first was quite large. Hopefully , the next installment doesn't take so long to get here. Or, if not extending/deepening the story, drop the price.
Let us preface this by saying, this isn't a BAD game. If you enjoyed the first one, you'll love this. Same style and all that. That being said, after three years and this is what we get? And for 3 bucks? You gotta be kidding us.
Our favorite choice game has been Life of a Wizard so far, which really utilized the imagination and had a satisfying amount of character customization and story branches. That is what led us to try Choice of Vampires, which, while not our favorite Choice Of game, had a great number of different outcomes and paths, plus some customization. In this game, however, each character we created in the past is a now a dunce; we've played through it four times so far and it seems there are relatively few events that are checked by skills, and we almost always fail them anyway regardless if we had a charming, intelligent character or a strong, combative one. We are out of patience trying to figure out how (or even if) we can be successful in any of the main challenges of this game.
How did this game make it out of testing? What were they thinking.
We're disappointed with this COG, in comparison of the first one its a huge let down: the story was too short and it felt like nothing was going on with your character. We were hoping for something just as great or even better than COV but this wasn't worth the three years waiting.
A complete and total let down, if choice of releases one more flunk and we pay for it, it just might be our last purchase from there company and we say that with sadness in our heart because we loved there work up until now :-/.
The title of this review has about as much depth as the game has story. Sad but true. We've played every other choice of game available for iPhone and this is easily the worst.
Far to short to buy for 3 bucks.
