It’s rated 12+ and currently has 2,879+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes CRIMO Stand Out

Love deduction games? Use your logic to solve puzzles and investigate gruesome murder cases! Analyze clues and follow the trail to send those criminals to justice!
Join the CRIMO special unit, specialized in logical crime investigations. After a short training at the Police Academy, you will be sent to lead gruesome murder cases in Miami and New York, by applying pure logic to solve puzzles. Collect clues, analyze them, confirm evidence or reject false leads: you will cross-off all possibilities until you can designate the murder weapon, find out the motive and unmask the criminal. Are you ready to use your wits and deduction skills to fight crime?

Did the actress do it for revenge using a handgun as the powder on the pillow suggests?
Or maybe it was the politician, but did he use the knife or the chainsaw? Was it out of sheer madness or was it for power? for love? Or simply money? The next clue might be decisive…

CRIMO's puzzles offer a fascinating cross-over between games of logic like sudoku and minesweeper, crosswords and criminal investigation board games. You will decode which squares to touch in the grid by following hints giving the sizes of blocks in each row and column. It’s a real mind challenge wrapped in a fun experience where you need to think and use your brains to succeed.
Avoid making mistakes or you will take a punch, suffer a scratch or even take a bullet! Thank god you can replenish your health by eating a burger, hot-dog or… how about a donut?

You will learn easily, progress rapidly and quickly get hooked! It's ultra addictive!

FEATURES:
• Tens of criminal cases in two iconic cities: Miami and New York

Community Insight:

This game doesnt cost a fortune. Its fun and can be played without spending money. If you want the help of cones, the fee is nominal. It is amazing how many murderous actresses there are.

Its a great game its just that it has too many ads every time we complete a level.

Whether or not we would recommend this game to someone hinges on how ad tolerant they are. Very tolerant of ads, has solid gameplay and a consistent and distinct artstyle. Not tolerant of ads, under no circumstances should you play this game. Ads occur nearly every other puzzle and if you stall even for a few seconds on a puzzle and pop up for the opportunity to watch an ad for help will happen. It is a logic puzzle game, we are trying to think through the puzzle, either the timer for these pop ups need to be altered or there needs to be a switch we can turn for not hints.

Really fun game, only annoyance is that when we run out of coins and need to watch an ad to save the officer down, the game will not recognize that we watched an ad and still asks for coins to continue. Its a frustrating bug that hopefully can be fixed soon.

The game is genuinely fun, a different version of nonogram. We thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the ads are terrible. Every game has ads now, thats fine. But here, the ads are somehow even worse. Each ad is over a minute long. Then, while most other games will have ads muted if the game sound is muted, this game has the ads play at full volume (interrupting any music you might be listening to). Finally, today we received 2 ads that both had the mute and x button covered by the pop up. We couldnt even close or mute the ads even though the option was clearly there.

The concept of the game is great! We dont mind waiting for the evidence to process BUT the farther u go we feel like its nearly impossible to figure out the puzzle without a tool and of course u gotta watch ads for that or buy more. U only get 50 cones a day which goes by quickly oooor u can buy more. If you tap the wrong square 90% of ur health is gone so sometimes its a one hit kill. Then you can watch an ad to revive or pay with coins which means. You have to pay. So its definitely a money grabber . We wish there was like a daily login reward or something. Cool concept of a game but just not worth it.

Such a great concept, we love a good mystery, especially with a fun brain game. But our god the ads are atrocious. After completing the tutorial Ive been bombarded with ad after ad after ad. We literally open the app and Im forced to what a 30 second clip. And constantly being asked to spend the 5.99 to get rid of ads. But seriously? 5.99 just to get rid of ads, that doesnt even include having to wait to analyze clues, or a limited number of traffic cones that run out in one level. 5.99 only to remove ads. So sad but had to delete it wasn't worth our time.

Love the game play and range of puzzle difficulties. But probably about 30-40% of the time the ads (either required at the end of levels or ones for gaining extras) freeze and glitch so Im stuck. The only way out is to close the app and we lose all progress in that level and the coffee used to start it. We have a good internet connection so we dont know what else could be causing this issue repeatedly.

How come the daily challenges were free for us just last week and now we have to pay?? Maybe one to two months ago, they also had no option of watching an ad to restart and we would have to pay. Never spending a dime on this game! We won't lie, we are upset. However, we'll still be playing this stupid game.

Glad you run out of points or we would be playing this game all day.

So we really enjoy it despite the fact that we can't access purchases (despite all fixes we could find) probably ok as it saves us $. However, after a week it just stopped working and is frozen at the "city" screen. Deleted and redownloaded and same.

70 years old and it keeps our brain working.

Overall, it is a very fun game. With that being said, we do have a few issues. When you make a wrong move, it takes MOST of your life, but when you collect food to refill your life it takes so much bc it BARELY refills life. Also, there is NO way to receive coins unless you buy them. So after you run out of coins that the game offers you, the only way to try again on a level after you die is by watching an ad but the issue with that is the fact that your life refills with less than 10%. The game is cheap, but we refuse to pay for coins in a game when we have so many financial responsibilities in real life.

But why are all the dead people dark skinned? We understand Im at the beginning of the game but we do not want to continuously see people of color as the murder victims.

The game is fun. Cute. We liked playing it. However the amount of ADS is absolutely ridiculous. We gave up after 2 days of this game just for that.

One of the better nanogram games we have found over the years. The murder mystery part isn't really important at all and requires nothing of the player after they have finishe the grids. Ourselves, we went ahead and paid for the $2 subcription for unlimited display blockers since the larger ones get to confusing. Otherwise it doesn't cost a bunch of money. We'll cancel& delete the app once we are done, if it had been a set fee of $5-$10 dollars we would keep it though. The one tthing that we wish was that they had the total grid size displayed, that would save some tedious counting.

Fun game, but holy crap it makes our phone overheatand like, really fast.

Hate that the tutorial makes it seem like you can use as many of the cones as you want. We liked playing the dailys because it was exciting. Now, you have to use coins to replay levels. Its fun, but Im not about to spend money to buy coins or lives or ad free.

The concept of this game seemed so fun until we played the first three minutes and was trying to skip through everything as fast as possible. It teaches you every single thing including all of the strategies to play a perfect game your first try instead of letting you try anything naturally. Oh and then we got the intrusive ad and deleted it. Im not going to play a game that hand feeds us everything like im a child and then immediately hit us with an ad the first time it lets you loose. Theres no way to skip the tutorial and we just hate them. We dont care if we fail we just want the option to learn on our own. Theres no point now if we know all the strategies. Even if it gets more complicated if your going to give us the answer the puzzle takes 30 seconds to complete instead of 10.

We love this game, the only issue we have is there is no way to get more coins. You have starting coins when you get the app but once you use them you are out unless you pay for them. Maybe if you have full health and no use for the food, you should get coins for the food since there is no use for them with full health. It also sometimes will not let us click on the levels so we have to restart our game in order to click on them.

We have no problem with games that rely on ad revenue but this one constantly shows ads that lock the app up and force you to crash it leading to all progress on current puzzles being lost. Which is a shame because we like this take on these puzzles. Makes this unplayable.

Too big you cant save your energy.

We love this game! Our two favorite things solving puzzles and catching the bad guys. Logic and deduction, so fun.

We like the game a lot. What we noticed over the past week of playing is that we can play the game with a weak internet connection (perhaps airplane mode even) but then our pop-up helpers for the game are ads to buy in game currency. This was the only game we could play the last two days when we lost power and cell coverage was messed up (hurricane Ian) so we did experience frustration of needing to restart a whole batch of puzzles when we ran out of health due to mistakes. However after full cell service was restored, the pop-up helpers come sporting offers to watch ads for help. And if Ive just run out of cones, a cone helper comes up and if Im low on health, a health restorer comes by. Do we like watching ads?! Nope. But after spending thousands on other free games, Ill watch the ads. If you like this type of game, the developer makes another like this without much story, called Riddle Stones. And if you like Crimo but want more story, Crimo Stories has a bunch of reading / background story. We found these games because this developer originally made Treasure Madness, the most epic game on Facebook for years. We were so sad to see it go. We hope to see them revisit a similar app for mobile. In the meantime, hooked on this one.

The game itself is fun but after every puzzle its one add after the other. We know you can pay to get rid of them but its truly just absurd.

We love this game but it only allows you to make 2 mistakes before you fail the level. This is especially a problem for levels where there are 6 grids. We dont think there needs to be an over abundance but enough to be reasonable.

We love it we actually get to use our brain.

210708_155006 Admittedly… We are ADDICTED to this Game! We LOVE the Simple Logic! It keeps us coming back for MORE! /\/\/.

Forensics says they can prove the killer was an elderly grandmother. The crime happened when she was burgling a house. The problem is, we've stalled on identifying the weapon. She either used POISON or a MOLOTOV COCKTAIL. It's tricky to tell them apart :).

This is a fun logic game. Visually pleasing brain exercise. Beware though, once you pass the trial stages you will soon realize that this is not even a pay to win, this is a pay to play. You have to buy stars to heal because errors hit you like a freight train. Like 1-2 errors and youre dead. We wish there was a way to get stars through ads periodically. Not sure we will keep going after we use these last stars.

Love the puzzles and story. Concept is nice. As usual, takes a ton of energy to play puzzles, so you can only work a few. One mistake depletes almost entire life and the food to replenish barely adds life back. Also, limited cone markers to mark squares is unrealistic. 50 really?! One difficult puzzle uses them up quick. We find ourselves taking a screenshot and work it by hand, then go back to game and fill in the correct answers. It is really fun for a few minutes, until you run out of energy and cones that of course you can purchase. Ads are looooong and frequent, at least it is fairly inexpensive to purchase ad free.

Its nice to try out but the pop ups are frustrating. We would rather buy the game and be done. No hidden cost.

We love playing this game. Sadly, when we got to case #7 in Miami the game seemed to forget its own premise. It stopped revealing clues which is the main way you make forward progress in the gameplay and solve cases. Bummer. Maybe theyll be a fix someday.

They say it's free to play, but do you really want to spend your free time being drained by these people? You have limited energy, cones, health draines, etc. Feels like a pack of beggars clawing at you while you play. Enjoy.

We love a good mystery game but this one really annoyed us. The core gameplay (at least to us) is simple enough to understand, so why do we need the tutorial to hold our hand though so many levels for us to actually start playing? It made us so frustrated that we couldnt get out of the tutorial even though we understood everything already. We wish there was a way to skip it if you chose too.

This is a fun game. We play daily. Not giving it 5 stars for a few reasons. The clues, weapons, motive, and suspects never change. Boring and pointless since we should be allowed to guess in these categories, rather than just waiting for the process of elimination. Also, there are no incentives. Extra coins or extra lives for passing milestones. (Actually, Ive no idea what the coins are for.) At this point when we have a wrong guess we just stop the game rather than having points taken off. We wind up with a perfect score for every case. Good for us, but boring and predictable. Base game is fun, but could be a better experience overall.

As @Mindstein reported – there's a rather annoying bug that causes you to get logged out of your Mac in the middle of playing (unclear exactly what triggers it, but it has happened to us serveral times over the last several days) Other than that, we find it fun – though we think you can expect to put some money into it in order to buy "coins" to use for hints and for buying "cones". We wish there were an additional device one could use to mark potential "good" spots (cones are used for marking "bad" spots – and you don't get them back if you pick them up) – one could then try out several possible combinations before committing to one.

We love these types of puzzle games but one of our big complaints is the limit on cones to make off spaces. It doesnt make sense to us to limit these. We also do not get energy back after watching adds which are supposed to restore 50 energy.

A good game built around logic puzzles, but we have NEVER been besieged by so many ads. We are quitting after calculating how much time is wasted because of ads. A good game ruined by greed.

We love logic puzzle games, and we thought this would be fun to try out because its a murder mystery/logic puzzle combo. However, some of the mechanics seem pointless. Having a limited number of cones is the weirdest thing ive seen. Cones or xs, are used in every logic puzzle game and are normally necesssry to complete the game so you know which squares not to mark/which squares you can rule out. Because of this, only giving us a certain number of cones seems pretty dumb. The other thing is the health bar. We understand why its there, but its far too easy to accidentally swipe over the wrong box or put a cone where there shouldnt be one if you forgot to switch back. Overall, the concept was good, but the execution was mediocre at best.

Read the title. This game is exactly what it advertises, so if you thought it looked cool youd be 100% right. Download it now.

If youve ever played Nonograms, thats what this is, wrapped in a detective story and with all the usual ads/p2p gimmicks thrown in. There are limited cones (markers to identify fields that arent active) and if you run out you need to wait, watch an ad or pay for more. Theres a subscription option. The mystery part is pretty underwhelming tbh. Solving a puzzling gives you a clue which you then have to click on and either wait or pay/watch to speed up the analysis on so it can eliminate a weapon, motive, or suspect. Theres no actual deduction on your part. Just an additional opportunity for them to try and get you to pay them. Look, its playable. Its fine if its what you want to play, but honestly, Id just go get one of the free or one time purchase Nonogram apps. Youll probably get better puzzles without the gimmicks trying to get you to spend more money.

Its a really great challenging game but in big squares its really difficult and outstanding that you dont have unlimited security cones plus no chance to select wrong! In our opinion, for next update Give unlimited cones for big squares or at least give player more chances to select wrong! If not it would be kinda impossible to solve it without a booster Thanks(if you read this ).

We liked the game but hated the amount of ads.

Give us the option to earn coins or at least watch videos to earn free coins instead of paying for them please! Otherwise its a great game.

But still definitely needs improvements.

We think this is one of the more challenging versions of picture logic games out there. However, the ads sometimes have no exit currently its the one for Stihl chainsaws. So you cannot proceed past that ad, and must quit. Every time. This has happened before with a different ad, and really ruins the game play.

We stopped playing bc while the frequency of ads, and the duration of the ads detract from gameplay and concentration, we finally gave up when the stihl ad loops continuously and you cant exit.

Please cut down on the amount of bubble that pop up offering a video to help a stuck player. Its way too frequent, sometimes coming seconds after the previous one. It eats into the flow of solving a puzzle and (for us personally) is a source of frustration. Let us be stuck for a little bit. That makes solving the puzzle that much more rewarding.

The gameplay is so much fun we love the puzzle type riddle mystery gameplay of it but we are bored by the same suspects over and over again we feel like there should be some variety in the suspects for each case because eventually your going to have all the suspects used up and it kind of makes no sense for the person to commit a crime twice after the fact you solved the case.
