This game was a huge part of our early childhood, at the time there were not manny big mobile games, this is one of the ones we remember getting and likeing alot though, was sad when the apple updates made half of our childhood obsolete and unplayable, but to our suprise this game still remains playable, huge props to the dev team for letting us be able to replay our child hood.
This game has endured the test of time. Props to the developers for never giving up and keep updating this great game.

Hey Pangea, we are having a problem installing this on our retro iPhone 3G (iOS 4.1) we get the error message "App not compatible with this iPhone". We didn’t even get a prompt to downgrade! We were able to do this on our iPad first generation (iOS 5.1.1). We’re not sure if this a problem on Apple’s side or ours, or yours. Please fix if possible! Unless we’re being dumb and Cro-Mag is truly unusable on iOS 4?
Such a fun and nostalgic game! Our siblings and we may be into our twenties and thirties and in 3 different cities, but we still have a great time playing together! This game as an app is more difficult than playing on the computer. Group play has various shortcomings, including going to black or blue screens, randomly quitting, and lengthy waiting periods while on the same Wi-Fi. We would also love to include more than just 4 players, and be able to use all of the racetracks, including Atlantis! This app is better for single players, but know that if you update group play, well be here for it!!
We got to say this game is not very good the animation kind of sticks it glitches out most of the time there are a few bags itll kick you have a lot its somewhat annoying music is very annoying and you cannot turn it off and you can eat some thing or if youre trying to make a YouTube video like we were reporting on how this game works it kicks us like it all the time really not very good game we dont suggest it to any other people but little kids like 5 to 1 would be great because we dont understand this terrible content thats all we have to say Im not trying to be rude.
We just found this game, having liked it long ago when it was an early 2000s Mac game. But to our annoyance, it refuses to use our Bluetooth earphones for sound output. It always switches to the iPad speaker.
Still so much fun too come back to after all these years time and time again.
And multiplayer functionality doesnt allow peer-to-per on the same WiFi network like the old days.

Cro-Mag is a great lil racing game that reminds us of Oregon in the 70s.
Look at the update history for this game. In a market full of games that go obsolete whenever Apple puts out an update, Cro Mag Rally powers through. It’s been a great game since day one. The endless support deserves 6-7 stars at least. 5 stars will have to do. Update: Pangaea truly deserves a round of applause for supporting their games through thick and thin.
We have played Cro-Mag Rally hundreds of times and we keep coming back to it! The physics feel real, and we still enjoy it every time. Our only wish is that there should be a timer, so that the player could try to better his or her quickest time on subsequent runs.
The computer game is a classic and this is a nice modern twist on the game!
This goofy game is so much fun, we play it everyday!
Our wife and we almost get in fights after playing head to head Cro Mag racer – the multiplayer races are competitive. The game is amazingly well designed – pay attention to the music – the graphics are great and no two games are alike. The different playing modes keep us playing forever. We love everything these guys do.
We’ve played Cro-Mag Rally for years on the computer. We recently found it was available for IOS. We purchased the game for $2 and tried it out. It does the original computer version justice! We look forward to getting as much out of this version as the computer version. Excellent game! Our only complaints: – Can’t figure out how to play the Win Song, our favorite Cro-Mag song. – You have to be sitting right for the Atlantis level. Such a good game!!!

We played this game all the time as a kid! This game is great for reliving that fun– however, the mechanics feel SO different than the original! Partially because of the tilt controls instead of using a keyboard, but it feels a lot more… Squirrelly? We also miss the winning song! Either way, totally worth the $2, and still fun almost 20 years later!
Used to play this on the computer when it first came out, years ago. It’s a fun game, but there’s only 2 options for steering. Tilting and an external controller. It would be great if there was an option for an in-game steering wheel, or direction buttons.
This app doesn’t output sound to our child’s Bluetooth headset. The sound comes through the iPad which defeats the purpose.
Played this daily as a kid. Great game however we were a bit let down by the lack of Multiplayer activity.

We have loved this game since we were a child. We first played this on a G3 computer and the iPhone version is just as good.
It was a lot easier to play on the iMacs back in elementary school. We can never get first place. We will keep playing until we get a better hang on the controls.
Using the phone to steer was unexpectedly smooth for us (I play on iPhone 5s). Sometimes when we open the app we can’t click on "play game" or anything. We have to exit and restart it then it works. Other than that issue (which is really minor so far), no problems, great game.
We would say it’s definitely worth the price. We have no problems using either the controls or with gameplay.

Please fix the mapping of the controls for the Logitech controller to make the shoulder buttons has and brake. Or anything other than the D Pad. Worst controls ever using the D Pad for everything.

Won’t let us get the Viking Race achievement.
We wish we could get our money back. The controls, graphics, and gameplay are terrible. Do not waste your money on this game.
So sad that not many people have this game! You can play online and even be talking smack with the other player. We haven’t gone across another game like this! Love it better now with 64bit iPhone 5S support.
