Cytus II Reviews

Best rhythm game ever! Sometimes we have issues with the game recognizing our taps but Ill put that up to our fingers being too cold and not tapping hard enough . So many different kinds of songs to jam to and increasing difficulties for each song allow for everyone to get a chance to enjoy this game! Cytus, the first one, was a super good game but Im finding that Im enjoying this one much more!!

Game is absolutely great and we love it but the only problem we have is that for some reason the game deletes all our save data and we cant seem to get anything we have and lost all of everything we hope theres a fix for this or can help us fix this problem.

It used to be a great game, with interesting story, though now the said "tech takeover" is ironic, as the game has entirely shifted to AI and thus fired all creative teams. Please stop supporting the game, please do not buy packages within the game.

As a long time fan of cytus II since the launch of the game we are disgusted with the actions of Rayark. We’ve followed the game since the beginning but will now delete and no longer support this awful company. These actions are inexcusable, the art is what gave the game its soul. Seeing a company carried by its artists betray them like this is reprehensible and deplorable.

Amazing game, until rayark changed to ai and fired all their artists.

Great game! The storyline is so interesting and we love the art but sadly the studio is using AI art recently and even hiring AI specialists to potentially even use more AI within the game.

Will not support a company firing their entire artist team for AI. Really liked this game too, what a shame.

Uninstalling because Rayark fired all their artists and replaced them with AI.

Rayark has fired their entire art team to save an extra penny by using AI tools to replace them. We used to respect this company for their games, but once you remove the human aspect in art, then it becomes soulless.

Dont buy Cytus or any Rayark game anymore period. They recently fired all of their artists and went ahead to replace them with AI DONT support this company anymore they only want to make a quick buck now and no longer care about the value of artists in the slightest. Anyways, remember it is always morally correct to pirate games from companies who would steal from you.

We really loved this game so much. The playstyle was close to a basic rhythm game but moves around the screen, which makes it more fun and is great for the touchscreen, we also love the layout which makes the game feel like as if youre experiencing the events through social media and news sources which is so cool. Unfortunately, the company who made this game recently fired all of their artists and replaced them with AIs, which is something wrong on many levels. Often capable artists have trouble finding jobs and making adequate amounts of money, and on top of that AIs are trained off of non-consenting artists work. Artists deserve to be paid, and their art shouldnt be used for this kind of thing without their consent. As someone whos put years into art and animation and hopes to someday dedicate their whole life to it, we cant bring myself to play a game that treats their artists like this.

We’ve paid for so many dlcs. We Cant support Rayark anymore.

We’ve heard that Rayark has fired all their artists, in lieu of using AI art for their games. Not only is this extremely disrespectful to the artists who worked so hard to provide the visuals for Rayarks games, but it is also incredibly inhumane. There is no excuse for blatantly disregarding the efforts of people and their talents in order to cut costs or to make more money. Although we are a fan of all of Rayarks games, we cannot support them while they favor AI over people who have put their soul and sweat into their games. Until Rayark re-hires their previous artists, and discontinues its use of AI art, we will be deleting Cytus 2, and any other games we have that they have made. And if anyone agrees with our assessment of the situation, we think you should too.

We loved Cytus 1/2 and Deemo but we cant support the company if theyre going to fire all their artist in favor of AI art work Im disappointed and will never support this company again.

Literally so disappointed, we loved this game so much but to hear that they fired all the artists for ai is literally so upsetting.

Loved this game, still do. But hearing that they use AI art AND fired their artists is deplorable and should be considered a crime.

Rayark, the company behind the game series Cytus and Deemo, recently fired all of their artists in favor of using AI art. Especially for a game like Cytus 2, whose message in its entirety is to warns against the over usage of AI and apathy of those around you, this is unforgivable.

Recently have heard Rayark has started employing the usage of AI for the current and future projects. Because of this we refuse to support a studio that chooses to use a soulless method in developing art all for profit. We recommend you do research on the subject before installing this game. Its quite frankly a scummy practice.

Amazing game! Too bad Rayark is doing AI art now. Dont give them your money.

First straw was firing their musicians for protesting, second straw was firing all of their artists and replacing them with AI art. Unacceptable behavior, we loved this game but they have no morals and we cannot support it anymore.

The game is good, but the company Rayark is terrible. They fired all of their artists and replaced them with AI. This should not be supported and everyone should boycott.

The company behind Cytus fired all their artists and started using AI for all of the artwork in this game without telling anyone. If you value human work do not download this game.

We used to play this game religiously for its extremely well made art music and writing. We found out recently that this company uses AI generated images instead of paying artists now. It’s already hard enough to get a job in the industry as an artist. Having our hard work get discarded like this only to get replaced by cheap copies insults us and many other fans of this game. For a game that’s all about the dangers of AI you folks are extremely hypocritical.

The developer literally fired their entire Art Team to replace them with AI. Dont support this company or these practices.

As beautiful as this game is, we cannot support a game nor company that has fired all its artists in favor of using ai art.

This is a game that we used to really enjoy, but since rayark fired their artists and replaced them with AI that they cannot even bother to manually retouch – look at the hands, the shoulders, etc. On their recent artwork – its difficult to enjoy a game by a company that takes the easy way out.

At some point, this was our favorite rhythm game. We loved this company, where we listened to beautiful music and enjoyed the equally beautiful artwork. But now they are using AI to make the art. What a disservice to their real artist team and the player base.

We used to love this game, but after hearing that Rayark canned their artists in favor of using AI generated art, we cant play this game in good conscience anymore.

The games this company made are really nice and we once loved nearly all of them. Just a shame they threw out their staff to cut costs on making art.

We really loved this game, but now we cant play it in good conscious. Its shameful seeing all the brilliant art in this game and knowing the artists have been replaced by AI recently. AI steals their art to function, and youve chosen to let it steal their jobs for a quick buck. Boycotting until the AI art is removed, artists reinstated, and a public apology is given.

This was a nice game to play, however the recent termination of your artists in exchange for AI art is disgusting and is disappointing to say the least.

Thanks this game is best forever.

Let us get this straight. We have over 120 hours in this game and it is by far our favorite game on mobile. For $2 its practically free. Some people dont care for the story or the fact that the art style is anime but thats ok. But if you like rhythm games you have to buy it no questions asked. Its so old and its still getting updates. You have no excuse to not buy it if you are even considering it.

The game wont have any sound on iOS.

Ho ngon, nhc ngon, ct truyn ngon.

Our mom always said we were good at everything but this is the first time anyone ever told us we failed now Im going to cry and eat bread.

So we played the first Cytus before the Million chapter released. We took a break from Cytus 2 for a couple years because we had released the level cap which was around 50 at the time. We redownloaded the game, only to find that all our progress is gone. We loved it, but the grinding is too much. Our high scores have all been deleted even though we had cloud save enabled. We think we have to quit. We spent over 60 dollars on this game and was waiting for more of the storyline before the app messed up our data. Im not coming back.

Have had no problems playing this game on android for the past few years, though we recently switched to iPhone and cant get the sound for Cytus II to work, every other game and application works fine.

This blows the first Cytus out of the water in terms of its storytelling and immersion. Its both a rhythm game and a telling of an emotional story. It made us WANT to pay for the additional songs and storylines, not just feel the necessity to continue playing because we were bored or thought Id take a gamble at a pay-to-win. The mechanics are a 10/10 and make it super fun as well. Playing this game is an experience , and we encourage anyone who is a fan of rhythm games, is looking for a worthy way to spend time on their entertainment, and wants to have fun to try this out.

Wish the game had the option got lost users to skip through lore. We just want to play the game, and not wait until the credits end when each chapter ends so we can play the game again.

SUPER fun game. We dont usually pay for games cause Im cheap but we caved and got this and it is a really great game. Few issues though like how it randomly crashes when Im playing which is annoying. The main issue we have is that for a game that cost money just to play, there is so many in game purchases that just cost so much :/.

Great game but it keeps freezing after you reach L. 25 and do the chaos song then the game resets and freeze mid way through the credits sequence. Please fix!!!!!

Opened the game after a month and there’s no sound even with volume turned all the way up.

Love all the characters, stories and songs they are great and fun we hope you had more characters soon and keep this game alive its very fun and will always be one of our favorite Rhythm games we still need to buy amiya dlc.

Its a great amazing game with great storyline and beautiful music but the reason why its getting one star because the backup never works and we’ve had to restart three times already. One time it wiped our game just because of the update. We cant play this game anymore cause we cant deal with the pain going through it all over again, just to lose the data a fourth time. Very disappointing the developers due lack of data back up programming!

Absolutely amazing gameplay, flawless immersive story and beautiful artwork. The support staff are also extremely helpful, and quick to respond to customers via email. We want to mention Im experiencing a bug in the Bo Bo character interaction screen when we click on the meowbot bracelet our game occasionally crashes. Once this has been fixed we will update our review and remove this. Thank you Rayark for making an awesome game.

We’ve played this for around a year. We randomly opened our folder to see it was gone one day and we didnt uninstall it so idk where it went. We went to redownload it and theres no way to restore any of the purchases we made on the app. When the app cash grabs everything for $10 a piece its actually really frustrating when your account wont be restored.
