When playing the first scene, the hint mask appears to go to its place, but then the hint box is just a white square with no hint available. We tried deleting then restoring our purchase but it didnt work. Any suggestions?
The skip/hint button did not work at all! We just play the casual mode, because we do not need more stress. We liked the story but we were disappointed.
Halfway through the main game, the sound started going in and out. Music was fine, but voices kept disappearing, and effects were gone. And yes, we did turn our device off, just in case it was on our end. It wasnt, and it kind of ruined the game play for us. As far as the story goes, it was really pretty good, and a bit different. There were a great variety of mini games, and the graphics were outstanding. Maybe 3.5 stars?
This is a fun game except it has some glitches. Very frustrating when trying to play some of the games and cant even get the object to move.
Bug on iPhone stops freezes it at ever minigame. Please fix this. Otherwise love your games and Im trying to finish them but many get stuck like this and Im not able to move forward.
The screeching at the start of each character voice drives us crazy!

Once again its got a lot of monsters and ridiculous stuff like that. We wish it was less of that in these games. We remember back when these types of games first started they werent like that. We dont understand why thats such a trend for this type of game. Ugh One of the issues with the game is that it takes too long from when you click on something for it to actually respond. You end up clicking over and over again thinking it hasnt understood that youve tapped it. Also when you get to the bonus chapter, theres a section for the mailbox where you have to find the keys or arrange the keys or something but the instructions say there should be buttons and arrows and nothing is there. Doesnt seem to work we just had to skip it.
When we push the button on the piano and it did not show blue light on. We push the right icon and it seem got wrong icon from the piano. It not work good.
We REALLY REALLY enjoyed this game. When we played the one chapter try out to see if we liked it enough to purchase the entire game, we had originally given it only 4 stars because there was a glitch in the first chapter with the mannequin/hair/makeup challenge. It was near impossible to do, but we were finally able to complete it. Even after the glitch, we decided to give the whole game a try and bought it. Im SO glad we decided to do so, because it has to be the BEST game we’ve ever purchased in our life. It was SO much longer than their competitors games, SO much more engaging, and the story lines are INFINITELY better. We LOVE this companys games. Best we’ve ever played, BY FAR!
This was a very unique game Bravo! It kept us entranced from start to finish.
We were able to play the game with no problems since our previous review… Love this game!!! Previous Review ~ Was a 5 star at 3/4 of the way thru the game… Then we installed the update and the voice feature no longer worked… We tried using a new profile in game and that didnt fix the issue… Then we deleted the game and reinstalled it but it still hasnt fixed the issue… Disappointed we cant finish the game because it was great before the update…
So far no problems. Love the detail and color in the scenes. Enjoy the hunt for collectibles. Plot looks like a great ghost adventure. Still in trial but this is our weekend game and we will be glad for it. Thanks. Update: Very honored to help with ratings and reviews. We so love these games and am still grateful for everyones efforts. Just remember, as our daughter says, you are technically and computer challenged. Beautiful graphics with multiple tasks to complete. Hidden object scenes and puzzles with a Suspenseful storyline. We are writing an early review, even before completion, that you will find Much Enjoyment from this game. It is also a Good length! Really not going to ever be critical of this developer who is giving us the games we crave after Big Fish deserted us. This was a really good game.
Update: Received a quick response from Domini support team, the issue was resolved effortlessly and quickly, thank you Domini! Loving the length of play with this game and enjoying every moment of the colorful graphics, switching between characters and entertaining puzzles. Old review: Very excited for another game! However, we purchased the game and it doesnt recognize our purchase; clicking on the already paid causes a continuous loading, to the point that we have to finally cancel the request.

We are so glad to be able to enjoy these games again. This is one of our favorite series, and we were very upset when Big Fish just abandoned us. We tried to go see Big Fish in March when we were in Seattle, but was not able to get in. It almost seemed as if no one was even in the office. We would like to Thank Catalina and Lynx Minx for all their extremely long and tiresome work they have done to help all of us be able to enjoy the games we all love and enjoy. Please Lynx Minx or Catalina let us know how we can help. I. Have started sending messages to the game developers, and Im hoping the more people that send messages the more results we should see. Domino delivers yet another outstanding production. The storyline delivers a sinister, loosely based interpretation of the novel "The Phantom of the Opera" (French: Le Fantme de l’Opra), written by French author Gaston Leroux in 1910, and published in English in 1911. The novel was later adapted into Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famous 1986 musical. The series’ trademark continues, as you play the roles of both Protagonists male and female lovers to gain their distinct perspectives of what is going on around them. As you switch between the two roles, the inventory items change accordingly, and this adds a refreshing touch to the gameplay. The kidnapping theme is a heavily used clich, but it’s an important aspect that adheres to the novel’s storyline. Finding your true love won’t be easy you have to search through an underground world of tortured souls, hanging bats, ghastly statues, and deadly contraptions. The graphics are a visual feast for the eyes, as they are accentuated by a bright and colorful palette, mostly composed of varying shades of green, red, and purple, giving the atmosphere a mystic aura. The artistic designs of the environments as well as the characters’ appearances appropriately reflect the time period. The playful background animations keep us entertained, as we poke around the scenes, watching shoes turn into slippers. The HOSs largely consist of storybook types to convey the backstory. There are a few other formats that include snippets of interactive elements. The varied puzzles are entertaining and sometimes challenging; the solutions of such will advance your objectives. We admire how this developer lets a player configure the difficulty of the puzzles to a harder setting. The Collectibles are informative and relative to musical theater; we especially love decorating the dressing room. The musical aspect of the game is disappointing; the audio is mainly low-key, except for occasional creepy background noises. We think some instrumental music and opera singing should have been incorporated into the game. Unfortunately, our enjoyment was further hindered by occasional touch sensitivities throughout the game, such as applying the makeup to the mannequin in the Instrument Storage scene. It took much persistence to finally get the little guiding pointer to appear and apply the items. All things considered, the interesting storyline and gameplay maintained our attention all the way to the end. But due to the tedious touch sensitivities, we’ve deducted a star. Therefore, our final rating is 4 stars. We would like to thank the developers for promptly issuing an update to fix the voice overs. We highly suggest giving the free trial a spin.
Thanks to the developer for fixing voice issue and responding individually to reviews about it! Great game overall. Very glad to have these type of hidden object adventure games again after Big Fish stopped producing them.
UPDATE : March 3 Good news everyone! It seems that Domini has installed their update for Mystery Tales, and Dracyy, who is an original Dream Team Elite member, has informed us that the game is working well and enjoyable to play! Domini, thank you for the quick response! As far as Artifex Mundi goes they have been untruthful to the gaming community. Secret Order 7 Shadow Breach is shown as unavailable in this country/region, yet they are advertising it and reporting that they have released it. How can you tell gamers a new game is released when its not and then charge them a monthly subscription fee for their AM club, in which you are supposed to have one new game per month? They are underhanded and we for one cannot support this type of behavior. We have unsubscribed from their AM club and we suggest you do the same if you joined. We have sent them 3 emails and they refuse to respond. If this game is not released as of today, they are going to receive a very unpleasant email from us. We did tell them that they would suffer a loss in revenue as a result of this fiasco. We hope that many of you will contact them as well to complain about this unfair situation! Remember we cannot do everything myself and neither can our amazing friend Catalina. We are sorry to give you bad news but it is our obligation to keep you informed. UPDATE: February 28 Hey gamers! Two new releases on iOS today, so good news. First our beloved Oleg from Domini released a new Mystery Tales and Artifex Mundi purportedly released the Secret Order 7. Its not out yet but should be available later today. Thats probably Sunward, but we dont know yet. If they dont release it today, theyre in violation of their AM club, so we told them they had better do it and theyre somewhat afraid of us so check tonight! Update: At 9:00 pm this game still has not appeared on the App Store. We dont know what the issue is, but we have contacted Artifex Mundi. Truthfully dont be too quick to sign up for their club. It doesnt really seem to save money if youve already bought all their games. We will probably cancel our subscription. In any event at least we have some games to play, thanks to our DTE. We want to invite a couple of gamers to join. We are extending an invitation to undercover zip and Im an Awesome Person (you really are) to join us and the DTE. All you need to do is write thorough reviews and hype the games. No automatic 5 stars if they have flaws! Its just an honor bestowed for loyalty and we need your help. This twisted adaptation of Phantom of the Opera will delight fans of Domini and the series. As usual, you play from the perspective of the two protagonist lovers. The game is gorgeous, lengthy and exquisite, and you can customize every aspect, from the general gameplay to the map indicators, as well as the difficulty level of the mini-games. For collectibles enthusiasts, you must collect gems to decorate a dressing room, artifacts associated with opera, and posters. The graphics were colorful and exquisite. There were tons of complex items to assemble, and when you apply inventory items, expect a magical occurrence. They might open a hidden cache, thrust you into an HO scene, or into a puzzle, or you will receive another item. Each location had a plethora of tasks to accomplish, and you will meet many helpful (and not entirely altruistic) spirits along your magnificent and magical journey. The HO scenes had a terrific variety, as well as an alternate match-3 puzzle. The puzzles/mini-games were mostly rotational in nature, but there were also games of logic, dexterity and skill, codes and an interesting one where you needed to use a map. Gameplay was exciting and held our interest. Truly it is bothering us that we cannot rate it a full 5 stars, but there were a couple of issues that prevented us from doing so. Even after the game had been updated, which was very quickly done, some of the mini-games were impossible to manipulate and we had to skip them. In addition, the map occasionally indicated an available task before the necessary inventory item had been acquired, leading us to wonder if we missed something. Normally Domini has amazing quality assurance so we dont know what happened. However, it was still an incredible game and well worth the price of only $2.99. Thus, our true rating will be 4.5 stars. Thank you for recognizing the lengths that Catalina and we went to in order to get games. Unfortunately we both got very sick with shingles, because it was so horrendously stressful. We are confused about a reduced price. We thought the game was priced at $2.99 without a trial, and that was a steal for what you get from Domini. We still havent played Secret City but we are looking forward to it, and everyone has been rating it highly so we probably will love it. Oleg, once again thank you! You have restored our faith that there are wonderful people out there, no matter what BigFish did to us!
Update: Thankfully, after creating another profile, we were able to complete the game. This game has a great storyline, beautiful scenes, and varied puzzles. Theres the option to play either traditional HO scenes or Match-3. As well, this perilous love story follows a His/Hers alternating gameplay. Overall, this is a fun game and we do recommend buying! Seemingly, after reading others reviews, the issues we’ve experienced are isolated. Now, the reason for our 3-star rating, besides our issues listed below, is that we experienced overall sluggish gameplay and there were several instances when we were forced to skip mini-games. Even after completion, several puzzles simply would not register or close out, which is needed to advance the game. Oddly enough though, the skip button worked, which is how we managed to continue. First things first, let us say that Im extremely thankful to Domini for bringing their games to IOS and for bringing back this joyful gameplay to so many of us faithful HOAG fans! And like many others, we gave Big Fish a small fortuneonly for them to jump ship and head for the hills. That being said, our game just crashed horribly. Thus, the 1-star rating… For right now, at least. So, after finishing the free trial, I, of course, purchase the game, which appears quite good. But thats when everything went terribly wrong. Roughly 2 minutes into the game after purchasing, the game freezes and needs to be closed out entirely, which is no big deal really. Yet, as soon as, the game reloads it completely deletes our profile saying it was corrupted. All progress is gone! But Im going to go try it again, and hopefully, everything goes well! And no worries, Ill definitely update this review, for better or worse.

Went to try the game after update and now there is no sound please fix we paid for this game and it was a great game thats why we wanted to play again.
We so wanted to try this game; however we’ve started it three times and still we only hear the background audio. Their lips are moving and the subtitle is there but no voice. Hopefully this can be fixed and we can give it a try and not waste 2.6 GB of space.
