We enjoyed the game. However it was difficult to play since the screen didnt fit correctly on our ipad mini. The screen was cut off on the left and right sides which made it difficult to exit rooms and to choose options on the dialogue trees. Talking to the portal door was especially hard since we couldnt see the numbers at all. We also ended up looking for hints online because we were afraid that we might have missed an item we couldnt see. Like we said we liked the game, it just needs to be fixed if you are expecting people to pay for it.
We’ve tried and tried to see if we could fix it . We cant make it past a certain point because we cant click or see all of the game . Seems like a great game but a lot of people are wasting time and money to not play .
The video does not fit the ipad screen. Regardless of ipad type. It cuts off both sides which make it difficult to play and you can not read the beginning of any sentences. Otherwise it would be a fun little game.
The sides of the game are cut off so we cant see our whole inventory or use the menu (I assume theres a menu ). Until its fixed its unplayable on our iPad Pro.
How come this bug hasnt been fixed? Cant see a large portion of the screen so we cant get to the beach apparently..
We just bought it on the App Store. We like the game but we can’t get to our inventory because the images are to big for the screen.
We were absolutely stoked about this game, we rarely purchase games, but this was exactly what we wanted. The screen is clipped on both the left and right sides rendering some things unusable. We cant view our inventory items fully, a lot of the dialog is clipped so if we cant use audio Im screwed, there is a screen that you cant even reach because of it, so its impossible to finish the game. This has, apparently, been a known issue for awhile and nothing has been done, so, Apple is allowing a defective product to be sold. This is a shame, it would be such an awesome game.
This app doesnt fit on the iPad screen and is therefore unplayable. Requesting refund.
Screen is not fitted correctly. We were not able to finish the game because of that . We got stack because we cant move to the next locations simply because we were not able to click next!!!
Not formatted for ipad screen so you have no access to menu or proper use of inventory.
Aspect ratio on iPad is totally wrong. Chopped off a good portion of the screen. Please fix.
Its extremely glitchy and the screen is cut off on our iPad so its really hard to play. We see people complaining about this same problem for over a year with nothing being done. Dont buy.
Im a big fan of games like Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, etc. So this game was perfect for us. We only had to consult a walkthrough twice, and both of those instances were due to our own impatience. All of the puzzles made sense. We hope these folks make more games like this.
Awesome job with this one. We love adventure games and this one holds true all the way. Had the inventory problem at first but was more than confident that a patch to fix it would come out and it did.
We had no problem with missing inventory, or any other gameplay, it actually ran very smooth on our IPhone 7. We love point & click adventures, and this one was decent. Worth the $, if you like P & Cs you should get it.
After closing the game and reopening it, we realized Id lost a few steps of progress more than once… Very annoying. Otherwise we were really enjoying the game, and would love to see more games like this in the app store.
There is no option to save the game yourself. It sort of auto saves, but we cant tell you how many times we’ve been put back at the stupid gate to the underworld. We are so angry at this game! We get through it, move on, exit the game to do something else… And Im back at the bloody gate!!! Over and over. And this isnt even just a bug; there is literally no way offered for you to save your own progress. We wanted to like this game, we really did. Will come back and rewrite this review if and when the developers get reasonable about letting users save the game; till then, Im not even going to bother trying to play it further!!
We like the game but we are having a hard time getting to all our inventory. One item remains off the screen for us to access. It seems we cant go any farther without the feather. We are playing on an iPhone XR.
We somehow missed little Timmy in the dialogue with the vegetable monster and now cant get that part of dialogue back and cant progress with the game any further without it! Please tell us we dont have to start over!
We are playing this game now… And have had to restart several times due to these items disappearing from our inventory. Please fix this… Thank you. We will watch for a reply. We love point and click adventures and was so excited to find one we hadn’t played… After trying again, it is the seventh item picked up that gets lost in inventory… Bc that item will not move to the second line of inventory. Please fix this.
