We’ve been playing dead cells since the pc beta and it is an absolutely phenomenal rogue-lite dungeon crawler and when we heard it was being ported to mobile we couldnt have been more excited. The game plays just like on pc with the addition of a blue tooth controller and with how well ps4 controllers work with iPads, and even iPhones there is no reason not to get this game if you like to torture yourself with endless death and humiliation (kidding, slightly, okay not really youll die quite a bit.) All said and done we have never seen a mobile game of any price truly worth playing and this one broke that trend. Great game, excellent port, dont wait and get it now.
Its cool but kinda frustrating when u die and lose all ur stuff.
This port of the game is very smooth, responsive and most of all, fun 5/5.
We accidentally deleted the game and when Donald back all our save it is all gone, we reallly dont wont to grind back to 5bc sercret ending anymore, and all our outfit and weapon is gone. We have video proven we but the game so is it possible we can get our thing back and btw Game Center prove it too.
Everything is just crazy, the graphics, the gameplay, everything. Props to dev, worth the money. We’ve been playing for about our fourth day now, it has that learning curve to everything as usual, then once you start getting in the groove its way too addicting. This is the only game we have on our phone, deleted all the other ones cause we probably wont ever play them again now. If your thinking about buying it, its worth it. Just buy it. We love that every time you die, you get a brand new area. No run is always the same. You can get permanent and temporary upgrades throughout earnings cells. And after every round, you meet someone that you can turn in cells for the upgrades, and restore health/mutations and stuff. It had controller support too, automatically makes it a great game lol.
Playing on iPhone 14 Got this since it was on sale. We have the ability to add a controller but decided to use touch controls. After a bit of a learning curve it actually works fantastic. We are having a blast with this game, it has been a lot of fun. Ymmv regarding touch controls, but our fat thumbs are handling it well. Definitely one of our favorite mobile game purchases, highly worth it and will certainly get the DLC.
Controls are as good as they could be. There are some frame drops but not enough to be a problem.

One of the best and most fun games we’ve ever played. The mobile ports amazing too, pretty much identical to the console/PC version and it plays great. If your looking for a fun game to play in your downtime this one is definitely it.

Found it recently! Love the Rougelike Metroidvainia style of the game. Love the replay ability and quick levels. The grind is addictive and Im always wanting to go back to do better!
Amazing game plain and simple. Supports controllers and they even have an Apple TV that syncs so you can play on phone, tablet and TV. Do yourself a favor and pick this up if youre into action games, you wont be disappointed.
One of our favorite rougelites. Art is great, so many possible weapons and build keep runs fresh. They have a ton of content and continue to add more, get this game!
We never got into dead cells on console but we got bored on day and decided to try the console version and let us tell you this is addicting it the most fun we’ve had with an online mobile game.

No internet required, the most addicted we have ever been to a game easily 5 stars. Incredible mechanics, maybe a few funky controls but besides that YES YES YES!!!! Highly recommended to every person that has spare cash laying around. Overall 9.5/10 perfect game but improve controls a little bit. Aside all of that one of it not the best mobile game. Thank you!
Im Im love dead cells, we really like rougelike dungeon crawlers so this is right up our alley.
Very fun game, enjoyable but its not for people who are bad at rogue-like games.

Fight, die, repeat. BUT it is rewarding and changing about every time. We really enjoyed the games on the DS and this feels similar.

Great game and supports a controller well.
We love this game so much. Not only for its variety of weapons and items to discover and places to explore, but also for its character crossovers. We heard about this game from the Risk of Rain community when Dead Cells made a Commando crossover character from ror2. Hearing this was very exciting as a play on console and still havent received risk of rains newest dlc. We were also looking for a new rouge like to play and saw this as a perfect choice. This game just keeps getting better the more we play and we cant wait to unlock all the characters.
We play this game on everything and now on our phone too.

We personally love it its an awesome game.
We love this game, its one of the best games we’ve played in a while. We personally like the personality of the main character as well( he makes a lot of jokes, and his expression animations are great). Theres also a lot of Easter eggs in it as well, which is one of our favorite things in games!!!

What can we say that hasnt been said before about dead cells. Its a challenging rougelite dungeon crawler. The game is tons of fun to play and no matter the bc level player can still have fun. Its offline and the controls were brought over very well to mobile. The game runs smoothly which is great for a game that hinges on quick actions and decisions. The only issue is the difficulty but thats basically the selling point of the game. If you love an absolute challenge of fun then this is the perfect game to just sit down and play.

Got to Boss cell 3 on xbox. Mobile port is kind of hard to play, but it is controller compatible. Fun to play when youre bored and want to play dead cells while youre out.
