We’ve been playing for YEARS… This is absolutely one of THE best of this genre by FAR! Customized screensavers that are gorgeous.. Diffrent ways to get somewhere else.. You gotta look up, down, AROUND stuff, I’M SO BLOWN AWAY, lol.. WORTH EVERY SINGLE COIN, amazing job you guys.
We loved the graphics and the magician setting. Lots of varied puzzles and games. We were sorry when it was over.
Great game from Eipix. Love the magic slant to this murder mystery. We like all the Dead Reckoning games, they are what Eipix does best. Hops were list, silhouette, and interactive. Puzzles were creative, like the Qbert type stacking blocks one especially. We wish there were a few more puzzles. Cute magic bunny to collect in every scene. Rating of 4.5 lowered to 4 for lack of enough puzzles. Very enjoyable, well worth playing!
You barely get 10 seconds of playing before youre stopped by more magic and dialogue.

This is by far the best in the series – cohesive story with few twists, engaging puzzles & variety of HOP.
Quite a different murder mystery, with lot’s of detail to pay attention to. Character voiceovers are believable and realistic, which really draws you into the story. Hidden object scenes are at times interactive, puzzles, collectible to be found in each scene and a teleporting map. We so far am really enjoying and love investigating this mystery killer. Some unique special effects, as we are dealing with magicians . Definitely, give this game a whirl, very different in genre. Happy Gaming Everyone! !! This is a super fun game! No glitches, super graphics, sooooo cute little bunnies to find! They are pretty easy to find, not sure why some players can’t find them. Most people already know the magic tricks shown in the game, so the game producers are not dishonest as one review claims. Lighten up and just enjoy the game!
Lets get something straight! The last game from this developer (Banshee) was dull and tedious. We were hesitant about another EIPIX game so soon, because it seems that they are just churning them out and forgetting about quality assurance and enjoyability, not to mention proper English grammar. This game was entertaining from the start! We bought it and we are very pleased that we made the right decision. The genre is murder mystery/crime, one of our favorite genres. What makes it unusual is that it combines the world of magic. You get the usual EIPIX perks: customization of settings, labeled inventory with complex items, and excellent teleport map. At each location you must collect an adorable bunny symbol. There were no morphing objects to be found to our knowledge during gameplay, not even in the HO scenes, which was just perfect for us. They are a time waster to make short games seem longer, in case you hadnt noticed. The graphics were pretty but the clarity was of course not the greatest. There was no journal but you were provided with a nifty tablet which had multiple functions, but mainly you were able to keep track of your investigation. The HO scenes had variation and many were actually entertaining. There was an alternate puzzle in the form of a bubble popping (as opposed to the horrific bubble shooting) game. The puzzles/ games were much more interesting than in their last offering, plus you learned how certain illusions were actually performed. Inventory usage was of course unusual because that is typical of EIPIX! The quality assurance of this game as far as touchscreen sensitivity issues was far better than in Banshee. Our actual review will be 5 stars rounded down to 4.5 stars for lack of clarity on the graphics and also for length. It was not a long game even including the bonus adventure. However it was a terrific game and worth every penny! REMINDER: Demon Hunters 4 will be released this week by Artifex Mundi, hopefully Thursday but dont take that to the bank. They were late on the release date with Noir Chronicles. Note to KimTwilight: we know you have had it with this developer but we promise you there were some hotties and it was a terrific game. You will love it and you know you can trust our review skills, as we dont rate every game we play an automatic 5 stars and we call the developers out on the issues! Update: we saw your review and was happy that you played. Truthfully, the touch screen sensitivity issues were nothing compared to Banshee! Didnt you think that game was tedious? Happy gaming to all! Beautiful graphics, fast 10 second refresh rate, many inventive HOPs and puzzles. Loved the magic tricks! Our favorite thing is to find the hidden symbols throughout the game. In this case, there is a bunny and top hat to locate. You find the souvenirs in the Extra section. Its been quite a while to play such an intriguing game! We didnt want it to end!
Im really enjoying this game. We did have several rocky starts. Kept getting kicked out of game after we placed fuses. After numerous attempts, we then deleted and downloaded again. This time we didnt skip intro. So far no more glitches. Excellent graphics, great storyline, love the HOA and mini games. We appreciate a game with a logical flow and flawless teleporting map. Rabbits are collected in every scene… Yes some rabbits are challenging to find, as they hidden in plain site. We deducted 1 star for a rocky first start.
Of all the games we’ve played, lately, this was the most unique. The HOGs involve things like answering questions at a press conference, and other actions that are directly tied to the game. The story is interesting and quick paced, with a good mystery. We like riding the elevator to different rooms and finding clues. Minus one star for the glitch, as another player stated, after you place the fuses, and we had to delete and restart. After that it worked fine, and was well worth the money. One of our favorite games, for the unique quality.
We always look forward to an ensnaring and suspenseful murder mystery; hence the reason why we love this series. This latest installment distinctively incorporates the use of deceptive illusions to deliver a magical ambiance. The characters, as well as the dialogue, are interesting enough to hold our attention. Technology plays an important role throughout your adventure. Your tablet functions as an authentic device, with the purpose of providing information such as witness-suspect analysis and guidance to benefit your investigation. We love the ability to alter the tablet’s appearance with varying designs and colors. As you examine the locations, snippets of evidence related to the characters you encounter are collected and recorded. The graphics are typically imperfect, with blurry, unpolished visuals. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In custom mode, the teleport map facilitates brisk travel to labeled locations and indicates available actions. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick. Unfortunately, Eipix’s last eight games or so have been plagued by a pervasive glitch, referring to the application of inventory items. The touch-sensitivity mechanics are awry, resulting in exertion and frustration while acquiring and placing items within the scenes. The storyline is intelligently integrated into the HOSs. But don’t expect any trend-setting techniques to "wow" you because there are none. However, the HOSs are creatively executed, such as the one in which you find items in accordance with the reporters’ questions. Furthermore, they are multi-layered at times a trademark of this developer and they include puzzle-like elements. In our opinion, the puzzles steal the show. They are inventive, and they provide a welcome challenge a trait that is seldom these days. The collectibles, comprising a singular set, are hidden in plain sight. Overall, we think that this is a successful installment. The last two or three games in this series were bummers, but this one reminds us of the earlier releases. We detracted a full star due to the lousy quality of the graphics, as well as the touch-sensitivity snag, although it’s not debilitating. We are entertained as we progress, so we suggest that you give the free trial a spin to decide for yourself.
Is anyone out there having trouble NOT getting the souvenirs in the game? This is the second game we’ve PAID for and not able to see/collect the souvenirs!! Am we doing something wrong, or game malfunction?
We gave this two stars just because it was on sale. If we had to pay more than that, it would have been Zero stars. Way too short. We were able to finish this game in one day. The story was great and we hoped it was longer.
Reload twice, still kicks us out every time we get to installing the fuses. Glad we didnt get to the point of paying. And to answer the other reviewers question, no, cant get the souvenirs again.
This game made us angry! As the child and grandchild of magicians we we taught the magicians code of never revealing the secrets of the illusions. The designer of this game is dishonest. Do not support this thief.
Game has crashed 4 times right after installing the fuses. Disappointing because we liked what we were able to play of it & was looking forward to unlocking it while on sale. No joy.
