Community Insight:

Easy to play, art work is beautiful, and we love how in some of the hidden object games you gotta watch out for morphing objects.

We typically love their games, but this one was a bit of a disappointment. Short, boring storyline and one of the mini games was completely unplayable on the new iPhone. We literally had no other option, but to skip. They have better.

As the title says…. For almost $7 it should have been double the size. When we were working on what was the last puzzle we thought we hit something to quit. But no it was over. Otherwise it was fun while it lasted.

Great game. Artifex mundi delivers again.

Had great fun playing this game. So much enjoyed the puzzles and mini-games. A little short. Sad no bonus chapter. Thanks Kim for your reviews. Would not have known about this game without the review. Look forward to more games like this one.

This game was great! We are so glad that we found Artifex Mundi breath of fresh air from big fish games.

We guess we will learn that without a Strategy Guide we're up a creek without the proverbial paddle, as it were. We can't even how to try some of the mini games. HOP's are sometimes pretty difficult , too. Usually throw 2/3 morphing objects in like they're hidden. We find the storyline difficult to follow sometimes. Good graphics/map. Characters well designed – some humor. Even LOL! A few things like a wounded dog for no apparent we , reason & scaring a cheetah away sort of offended the animal-lover in us. LOL! We've played better. Haven't gotten too far. Maybe it'll get better.

For the most part the mini games and hidden object games are challenging. We found the story to hold our interest. However we wish there was a strategy guide.

Love the games from this developer. So much to choose from. To Kim T. We enjoy your reviews very much but also have a problem with much of the self patting on the back by one L.M. It's not only this ridiculous theory that she has some kind of inroad to the executives at all these game developers but her constant need for devoted loyalty from the "dream team elite"( which by the way is not a label one usually gives to themselves, but given by others who sees them as such)But also this demand for vermin searching and shaming those who don't respond. We would probably be more empathetic if they weren't constantly bragging about how awesome they are and about having fur coats and dripping in diamonds etc…. Not exactly the type of person that needs our empathy or understanding. We too am a senior (which was pointed out about this person on another game review site) which has nothing to do with having some humility and having the ability to know where it is appropriate to talk about that kind of crap. And we say crap because no one cares how many fur coats they have or that they can afford to have a personal manicurist come to their house( which is also in a game review post) we personally find it disgusting to wear dead animals for vanity. So that is it in a nut shell. We appreciate the great reviews the bragging and shaming….not so much.

Another good one from Artifex Mundi. Interesting story, unique and better puzzles, and no glitches. Length is fairly short though. We appreciate the low intro price, as well as this publisher's lower regular pricing. Full credit for these games needs to go to the various game developers, NOT this self appointed Dream Team Elite, a group of gamers here on the AppStore who continue to claim their reviews actually influence what developers and publishers like Artifex, Big Fish, etc put in their games. Several other players have politely suggested this delusional bunch only rate games here, and go elsewhere for their grandstanding and personal chat…but they seem to misunderstand the point. We give up. This paragraph was edited for clarity. Thanks.

So far this game has been good. Good color ho's are nice and bright. Would give 5 stars but not through playing yet. Back to the game". Grandma54.

Thank you KimTwilight for letting us know about this game. For the price, and first there is a free trial, this was a terrific game. You could customize your settings and there was a left-handed mode. The game was a decent length; we wish it had a bonus adventure as well. The graphics were very good and clear. You collect swords, no big deal. Inventory was labeled, but there were no plus items. Transition was quick between scenes and there was a good teleport map to transport you, marked if so customized. There was a diary which included notes and objectives, and the storyline was easy to follow. The HO scenes had some variation, but after a while they were just basic word lists. It was a bit HO-heavy. However, the variety of puzzles/mini-games was innovative and excellent, not just your boring rotational junk of which we are tired. We liked the one where you had to fly a helicopter and also the one where you have to formulate an antidote, but most of them were enjoyable and different. There were quite a few mice but they were all helpful and not scary so we did alright with them! The game played smoothly and inventory was easy to use, just tap and place, no dragging required. We only took a star off for length and for too many HO scenes, but this was a very good game overall. We will also recommend it to our amazing Dream Team, who has improved this genre so incredibly over the last few years! Lynxie sends to KimTwilight, Dracyy and the rest of the team.

A game that could have been so good. Instead it was filled with super tedious tasks like get gasoline…..(20 stupid things to do just to get gas). Ugh! The only thing that made "Miss Dawn" a demon hunter was that she carried an artifact. Otherwise – she hunted no demons… And: no bonus chapter. Booooo.

This game is way too expensive for being so short. Its less clever and more annoying with all of the back and forth with no real reason why.

Disappointed there are no bonus games, the mini games were too easy, and the game was not long enough!! The graphics were good, love the sound and voices, and loved all the playing options, but artifex mundi has made many better games. A bit disappointed:(.

We mean, it was ok. Way, way, way too short for $5!!! Not challenging at all, and we finished it in two hours. Very disappointed. We want our money back honestly.

We think we hit a glitch in the game. We cannot advance, there is nothing else to collect and nothing else to click on. The items we do have are incomplete, but again nothing to collect. The "hint" thing stopped working too. We scanned the entire map multiple times and nothing is coming up. After doing a walk through youtube tutorial we figured out where the glitch is. In chapter 4 with the gas station and yacht there is only one "pin" to get the key from the sewer grate. The other one is not in the game at all so there is no way to advance.
