Very fun game and we enjoy playing it! The only thing is that sometimes the done button doesnt always work and let us save the round and we cant progress so we have to close the game therefore it wont save, the most that Ive ran into the problem is when we play the AI tournaments. Other than that, it is a great game.
Only a five star review to gain attention. This game is lovely, but for the last MONTH AND A HALF, Ive been trying to get a distance driver, but it is too hard for intermediate players. The game has good graphics and (not entirely) accurate flight of the discs. It is fun when you are actually finishing the courses when not trying to get discs. Good amount of disc molds too.
Love the game, we play every day. Also appreciate the consistent updates but want to make suggestion to add in the next one. Suggestion- add a chat feature to private games, (maybe even multiplayer) whether its custom or even built in options like great line or #%!? . That would be cool.
Great game. Very fun. Large variety of courses. They update regularly to fix issues. The course creator unfortunately has been deleting everyones courses, so beware.
There are no other sports games that are this good and this dynamic. Seriously any sports fan would love this even if they know nothing about disc golf. Sure there may be one or two improvements, like a way to play offline so we can play in the plane, and being able to see live throws in multiplayer. Other than that this FREE game blows everything out of the water. Apple needs to feature it because its that good.
Good game but slow to load and too much bugs cant exit/continue after the round ends, we had to force quit our app and go back to play with friends.
You guys really need to put some kind of a support feature on this game because there are a lot of things that are messed up right now and theres no way to tell you guys to fix it.
Done buttons on some of the courses and games will not let you click. You have to log out and start over. Hope it get fixed.
Like most people say, the game is amazing! The main issues are that the pro shop currently doesnt work, preventing you from purchasing the removal of ads. Also other bugs, like selecting dis rewards, the continue button sometimes not working when you complete a course, and the sound on the game randomly drops out. We were able to get in touch with the developers, and they said they are aware of the issues and are working on them. Once at least some of these are fixed, like the pro shop, Ill gladly change our review to five stars.
Enjoyed the game enough to buy the $15 starter pack game bugs and crashes randomly sometimes. Cant leave games, open chests, etc. Gameplay is fine, menu just has a lot of bugs that take away a decent bit of the easy flow and fun gameplay. Highly recommend to play as it seems like a perfectly find game for our friend on his phone our iPhone 17 PM dosent seem to like it.
Would very easily give this 5 stars, however the bugs present with the current state prevent that. First off, we are unable to buy the ad-free version, we are just shown a blank screen ever after deleting & redownloading. Also, when presented with a choice between three discs, the buttons do not work properly and we can usually only still select 1 disc out of the 3. Please fix your game because we see multiple other older reviews talking about these same bugs, you guys must be aware of this by now.
2 major issues. #1 Done button doesnt work in tournaments. Come on developers this is an easy fix we wont continue to play until its resolved. #2Also can not select prize discs. You just get a random one cause those buttons dont work either.
The continue button between rounds is broken so we cant complete a tournament round or really progress much at all.
The game is great but only gets 3 stars for the following negatives: 1. Cannot press continue after a round or select a disc when leveling up. The buttons are frozen and not registering that they are being selected, breaks the game makes us miss out on rewards and cannot complete any tournaments. 2. Forced ads, we understand needing them so you can get paid for your work, but get an option so those of us that dont want to watch an ad after every round can pay to remove those ads. Fix these and the game will be near perfect. Until then we will not be putting any money into this game and urge those checking this game out dont bother until these issues are resolved. Your move devs.
Really enjoy the game but two things preventing us from rating this higher. 1) The go pro section of the pro shop has a bug where it shows a blank screen. We are enjoying the game and willing to pay for the ad free option but have no ability to do so with this bug. 2) we bought this game on steam on the pc and it is disappointing we have to pay again on the mobile for no adds when its the same account.
LOVE the game, but OMG, the ads are horrendously long. We want to PAY to get rid of the ads, but there is currently not an option! Seriously.
This game on its own is amazing, no doubt. It's incredibly well done, better than anything else we've played DG-wise. As for the paid model, we wish we could deparate the rating; the game itself would get 5 stars, the paid features would get 1. The course designer that you have to pay for is a great idea, but the execution is so poor. No undo button, very limited props, very limited features as a whole. The "painting" of fairway, elevation, and water is poorly done and is riddled with bugs. Other features are also just constantly buggy; we still have not been able to successfully change the par number of a hole. Combine that with the fact that it's a subscription model at an outrageous $7 a month, and there's absolutely no reason to pay for this game. If it were $7 to unlock the features, we'd gladly pay it and wait and hope for upgrades. Heck, we'd even pay for the base game. But there's no way we're paying for a subscription until the price is lowered, or there's a massive upgrade in features. We hope the devs see this and make some changes, because this is an excellent game. It just needs a rehaul of the payment system and a rehaul of the course designer to be a viable part of the game.
It must be a mobile glitch ive heard im not the first person but we cant buy any crates or anything. The our pro section of the shop is invisible ive felt like we tried everything. Havent gotten word back from support also. Great game but without those fun boxes to open its dull for us sorry.
The game is fun and somewhat realistic in the challenge boards at the start, but then they just get too gimmicky and nearly impossible to play at par or better. Also needs to a feature that allows you to have a second look at the hole after you tap throw The ads just dont go away either with a click, you have to tell them three times you dont want something before they believe you.
This is a great game idea, and great execution of the concept. But our god the bugs. Firstly, after EVERY game, whether online or single player, we must restart and re-open, as we are unable to hit finish. We are also unable to choose a disc reward after leveling up. Essentially, none of the absolutely ESSENTIAL buttons even work!!! We also couldnt upgrade to the Pro version, even if we wanted to! The screen is just blank. We really like this game but we cannot keep playing it like this. We literally WANT to give you guys our money. But you really cant fix a couple or crucial, SIMPLE problems? Especially after multiple comments to the same tune over the last two months.
Fun to play but buttons dont work after matches , reward buttons dont always work, ai matches finish button doesnt work so matches dont get recorded. Pro shop doesnt work for removing ads.
The game used to be fun but is now just riddled with bugs. You cant press done after rounds so tournaments are unplayable and it wont give you and option to buy the pass for rewards. They lost us on this.
Great game with great mechanics but from what we found out online, there is a bug in the game that makes it to where the ad free option is not in the store. The ads are sooooooo annoying, and we would gladly pay a dollar or two to remove.
We like the game but it doesnt allows you to select discs or click next when you finish a round. Too many glitches.
Ive loved this game for years. Ive spent hours among hours playing this game. But two factors of this game has steered us away. #1 it has no friends function on it. Its a pain to be able to play with your buddies. As of right now, you have to start a private match, and share your code with them. Otherwise youre either solo or playing with randos. #2 they have added so many attributes they dont mean anything anymore. The water skips dont skip, the sticky discs arent sticking. Dont even get us started on the rolling function. That right there is an absolute nightmare. You can have a disc land perfectly flat, and all of a sudden it just starts rolling. This game is about as inconsistent and unreliable as they come. It was fun when it was more simple, now its just frustrating.
Like this, great selection of courses and range of skill levels. Unfortunately a few flaws/bugs – putting sometimes gets hung up and doesnt fly, usually robs us of 2-3 strokes per round with this flaw which MATTERS! Also, frequently the screen goes dark after a round – have to exit and kill the app. Not sure if we got our points, cant tell. Find ourselves playing this less and looking for an alternative. Instead of adding more complex features, how about getting the basics right and stop the crashing.
Best disc golf game we've played this game we can play a lot better than in real life lol.
In the course creator mode, you have to sign up for a subscription, which we did. We were able to create a couple courses, but following an update im unable to create courses and an email to app support went unanswered for nearly a week. We still havent heard anything and will be canceling our subscription. Very disappointed in spinoff games. We much preferred the game before it was acquired by spinoff.
Best game of all time. We love dgv and we wish more people would play it. Its so well rounded. We also wish they would add innova or discraft so we could throw what we normally throw:(.

Currently have a bug where it doesnt give an option to create our own course in the our courses section. Ive paid for the subscription and have had 2 courses deleted.
This game is a minor miracle. For such a niche sport like disc golf to have this realistic and immersive of a game is incredibly cool. Can have a fun, great experience without spending a bunch of money. So glad this game exists.

The number of spit outs is unrealistic and very frustrating. Im sure this is what will cause us to move on from this game, very quickly.
The game is great. Sometimes weird stuff happens, like the sound cutting out. This time though, the sound is coming on at all. The sound works on our phone for everything else except this game. We hope it corrects itself because its rather annoying.
Best game Ive played literally ever. If you like disc golf or even if you dont play this game. So fun, very well made, interactive player interface, everything you want from a disc golf game and updates keep coming! 10/10.
Love the game has its little bugs. For example the practice options dont work just freeze the game but everything else is sweet and can say this is the best DiscGolf app out by far!!! Also wish the different numbers on the discs play a part.
Ads crash and hog – stop the app from working, force you apple. Horse hockey- let us buy it and play freely.
When we switched phones back in May, somehow our account was lost. Despite every attempt to transfer our account over, and contacting customer support, we had zero help. Finally received a spot six weeks later saying they would transfer our discs over to our new account, but they never did. This is now October and no one from disc golf Valley has responded to our emails or repeated attempts to recover our account, despite the fact that Ive been paying them for five years.
Great game to get into disc golf or just to have fun many discs to have fun with and fully a great experience.
Of all the disc golf games, this one is the most realistic by far. Real discs, real flight paths and real courses. It isnt perfect, but it is a great game if you are into disc golf.
Should make real life courses on the game.
Im missing out on xp increases because every time we finish a round and an ad pops up, theres no way to clock out of the add so we end up closing out of the round completely and attempting to replay it Love the gameplay, but kinda stuck with this issue.
This game has a lot of potential, but at the end of the day, its a trick shot, unrealistic video game. Its also important to note that the support is awful. We changed out our iPad recently and the app started us from scratch – we lost our (real money) payment for no commercials (which are maddening), we lost the bomber discs we purchased with real money, and we lost a year of progress towards a pro bag. When we contacted support, not only did they wait weeks before responding, their only help was asking if we tried logging out and back in. We had our old ID and they wouldnt even respond to our request to restore our account. Just silence. Then there is the gameplay. When the game became too easy for long time players, they added wind. – including gale force winds nobody would ever actually play in. Did the winds change things? Mostly, although one maddening aspect of the game is that occasionally, the wind doesnt matter at all. Same goes for elevation – it matters until it (randomly) doesnt. Water skip discs? (Yes, silly) They skip until suddenly they dont. Finally, as someone who came late to the game (we guess), there are a lot of older players who have bomber discs that are ridiculously unrealistic. Special, almost magical discs that are almost impossible to come by anywhere (without spending a ton of real money and even then, some dont even exist on the platform any longer). These are never a reward disc for leveling up – those will always be the same, largely unhelpful discs. And the games currency has also shifted so that in-game coins cant be used to buy good discs – those are only available when using real money. And just like in real disc golf, if you can throw 20-50% farther than everyone, its an advantage that can rarely be overcome. Its a bummer because we truly love disc golf. We dont mind that the game doesnt use Innova or Discraft – its a huge commercial for (mostly) European disc companies. But when the games are unfair, the competition is impossible to compete with due to equipment, and the variables are so randomits a shame.
Way too many adds. We dont mind most ads but these are the type that after you watch the ad you still have to wait another 30 seconds and then it wants to open the app store. It slows the game play down so much it is debatable if it is worth having this game.
Very fun and well designed game. Some of the physics aren't very realistic but they are consistent. There is a good variety of courses for all skill levels, and the easier ones offer ace chances for skilled players (except for Kaho Backwoods which is amazingly boring). Lots of great disc options, and most of them are available for free (although there are still no understable bombers in the free rewards for some reason).
Pretty good game. Can be very very frustrating at times though. Main problem is the amount of adds and how it wont ever let you skip some of them.
Awesome game! Iv had it for almost 4 years. But why do the distances the disks go change?? Like our 7s that used to max out at 85 meters are now flying at 100 meters. Same disk no upgrades. Like our old reliable 9 with turn maxed out at 91 every time we threw it, now it easily flys 125. Why!? Why did that change.
Fantastic game that we think would be fun even for non disc golfers. Everything runs smoothly, its challenging but intuitive, nice mix of realistic and video game physics, lots of courses and game modes. This is a really good game, and is exceptional for a free game.
