Hello! This Game is just awesome!!!! Love you get to Care and rescue! Love it all about helping animals! Love you get to explore more breeds as you go! It obvious the developer LOVES animals! Suggest you should get! Adopt dont shop!
The overall idea of this game is great!! We love dogs so much! We also really like the cute pixel art. It is SO FRICKIN ADORABLE LIKE WHAT. However, it gets boring after some time, because its waiting, then doing tasks. Then waiting, then doing the same tasks. Then waiting, and we think you get the idea. There are lots of things you could do to make this game AMAZING! It has so much potential! Our suggestions: (sorry if u already have one of these cause maybe you do we dunno we didnt get terribly far in the game) 1. Multiple shelters in different cities! 2. More dog breeds would be really fun! (Maybe a capybara, too. Maybe. Maaaaybbeeee.) 3. Maybe you could also rescue pregnant dogs, and then you have to take care of and adopt out the puppies! 4. If you could decorate your shelter, then it would definitely add another great element to the game! Thanks for reading this review, Ill be thrilled if you use any of our suggestions! -Dog Lover.
This game is super fun in the beginning when they give you all twenty energies. But after you run out you have to watch an add to get more or wait five minutes for one energy. And one energy does not go very far in this game. Its great but maybe reload it every thirty seconds or every minute at most because right now it could take a little less than two hours to reload the whole energy bar.

We’ve been playing for a while and its getting harder to save up money. We believe the dogs that take 2+-4+ minutes to do something should be adopted for more money. We find myself looking for the strays instead of the boxers and such just because they take less time and make the same amount of money,, Please change this!
We enjoy the game but we wish there wasnt those energy points. But if u keep them could u please have like a sleep area or a break area so that u could get more energy points faster.
We love this game but it can get pretty boring after awhile. This game also promotes adopt dont shop and supports PETA, (which we wont get into why there is something WRONG with both). Besides those things we think this game is pretty well made but it can be better, they can make finding the dogs more fun or just make the game more interactive without having to use energies. Plus they can add more dog breeds, what doesnt make sense though is how stray is a breed? All the dogs are strays technically, you could call them mutts instead or add a more variety with the mutts like some are mixed with the breeds in game. Maybe add more dog breeds too, more large dog breeds and maybe breeds that can come in the shelter with cropped ears or a docked tail :)!
This game is great! It has a great message and as a dog owner and soon to be shelter volunteer that is amazing. We think that it could be even better though. Not all dogs are the same. They each have their own likes and dislikes. Our idea is adding descriptions for the dogs. The descriptions would have the dogs breed, gender, likes, dislikes, allergies personality, and maybe even a bit of the dogs backstory. We love this game and we want to see it continue to grow and be even better. Thanks for making a game with a wonderful message!
The game play itself is okay if you like this genre. A little boring maybe? We think the typical mobile game greed that would otherwise be completely accepted in a different game comes off as very distasteful in this type of game, Id rather have to buy the game and be done with it. However we think our biggest gripe with the game is the information it offers about how to help dogs in shelters. Obviously this would normally be a very nice and helpful gesture but we were VERY disappointed to find that they listed PETA as a helpful charity. Anyone with a good internet connection can look up PETA and find that theyre a cutthroat devious company that actively torments animals rather than helps them. They dont care about animals. They care about money. If the game is going to endorse PETA, we cant trust any of the other groups they promote.
This game is super fun, because you can take care of all kinds of dog breeds. You can walk them, feeds them, wash them, play with them, and when you get the dogs love to 100 they get adopted by a family that will love them forever, this game isnt just a game. You can find a animal shelter near you to adopt a real dog in real life, that is another thing we love about this game. You must get this game it is a must have, but of course there is a flaw the Energy that you have gets to low to fast we wish the energy level was higher so we could play longer other than that a good game.
We have this game on our phone and now on our iPad. We are obsessed with playing this game and now we love dogs even more! But one problem, to many adds and it is just a little laggy. ! We are so happy this game was created!!!
We love this game but it definitely needs more to it or something to keep it interesting, more kennels, maybe customizable kennels like you can buy toys to put in it or something, we feel like it just needs more little things like that that dont cost too much once you get so far everything takes forever to get enough money for, maybe add like a groomer you can pay to make the dogs more attractive to adopters faster. We have tons of ideas of things that could be added but it definitely needs more even if you add little things at a time in multiple updates.
We wish there was a way to downgrade the kennel because level 5 doesnt even look like a dog house anymore its so ugly we want to go back to level 4. Plus its repetitive not very much can be done in the game.

Game had alot of potential if the detrimental slogan of adopt dont shop wasnt on here. It isxa toxic mob mentality that shames reputable breeders who breed for purpose and meaning, while backyard breeders are the main culprits in filling up shelters. The appropriate slogan should be adopt OR shop. We will never support PETA/ARA fanatics.
The very beginning after the tutorial is all a waiting game. Build kennels, wait for the crew to get the dog, put the dog in the kennel, repeat the same 4 tasks over and over (1 min each unless you use energy) to reach 100% with the dog and then it can have a home. And then rinse and repeat. Feels so slow and repetitive, we were hoping there was more we could do. Besides wait or do the tasks at the cost of something limited (energy). On the bright side, we love the pixel art for this game. Its cute, it has nice mini game art and animations and dog animations and it feels very close to McPixel type stuff. Maybe if the tutorial extended into taking care of the dog to 100% and then being adopted but we guess that would spoil the fun if you saw it all in one go?

We love this game, its so much fun, especially because you dont know what breed you are going to end up with. We just was wondering if you guys were ever considering making a game for cat rescue? We would love that too!! Keep up the good work.
The positives: the games graphics are so cute, we prefer the little pixel pups to hyper-realistic ones. The game is about adopting shelter dogs, which is fantastic. Its rewarding and satisfying to build up each dog until they are ready to be adopted. The negatives: it gets boring after a little while. Theres not much to do, other than have a dog do something, wait, and then gain points. Thats pretty much it. The graphics are cute but theres only a few different dogs that are cycled through. Sometimes you have to wait 12 minutes at a time for something to happen, and we lose interest quickly. What we suggest: this game has a ton of potential. We think that there should be different dogs… With how simple the pixels are, it would be easy to add in at least 20 more breeds and breed mixes, or at least have different colors for dogs that have the same foundation. Maybe adding the ability to teach dogs tricks. Maybe changing the layout and style of each kennel. Maybe interviewing potential adopters. Maybe introducing dogs to each other. Maybe making finding the stray dogs more interactive. Maybe, even, adding a similar cat kennel. Theres SO much that could be done to make the game more interesting.
In the intro, the game points to the energy when it tells you about the money, and it points to the money when it tells you about the energy. Other than that its a pretty simple game. We wish there was a little more to do in the game, but its a nice simple game.
Ill complete achievements and they wont process. Another bug we see is when we make a dog do something like eat, for example, itll show the dog in the shower. We also believe that game isnt correctly lined up for the newer IPhones. We have an XR and if we wanted to look at the awareness for adopting and the different organizations, some of the words are cut off. Despite the small things, the game is very lovely. We love the message behind the app. A suggestion to make it more like the player owns the shelter is to add seasons, like during the winter, there is an increase in people abandoning their animals due to the cold weather and the holidays. Add cats!!!! Add dilemmas the player has to face! Owning a shelter isnt easy and hard decisions must be made sometimes. Maybe add a donation feature, volunteers, stuff like that. This game has so much potential and Im excited to see what comes of this game. :)
We think the game is basic yes, but the breeds of dogs are different and therefore it kinda feels fresh :) our only two complaints are that we dont want to see our doggies leave :( we grew too fond of them lol. That and the watch a video option wont work for us. We have a suggestion for the game too! Make a feature where you can build and upgrade a house and you can have the option pf adopting dogs as well :) also maybe design a character and be able to buy stuff for your dogs and characters.
We finished the whole game within a month. Please add more places to go capture the dogs since we already finished the ones on the map. We love the game, other than already beating it.
This game was so cute it cured our depression for two weeks until we beat it. Now our depression is back in full force. Please make it longer.

Its an adorable game but it really has no point. You just keep rescuing dogs, taking care of them, then adopting them out. We already got all the kennels within the first day of playing and even upgraded them a few days later.
Lol, the google ad is literally blocking the buttons to the map or whatever it is that’s needed during the tutorial.
The thing that sticks out to us is the art style first of all. The pixel dogs and gameplay reminds us of older games from the 80s. Simple and nostalgic from our childhood. Wish they would add another map soon! We look forward to getting more dogs adopted!
It is a great game it is a pixel game but that is okay cause you can actually do stuff in the game like if you want to speed up the showering dog. Just click on them and then you can do the washing. Saveing the dogs is easy just pick the area and send your team out. When you get a dog you dont know the breed till you open the kennel up to see. It is a really great app.
We lose energy very fast and its unfair and we have to waste 1000 dollors just for 10 energy:/
As the other reviews have said, this game is cute and shares an important message, however they could benefit greatly on expanding the content and what they could do is bring special care pets, that require an extra challenge and extra care. We dont know if they add anything like that in the future levels.

Awww this game is so cute!! We love all the dogs so much, though it lacks a few things that would make the game much better. First of we think you should be able to train the dogs. Like we think you should be able to train them to sit, Lie down, Give the paw, Play dead, Roll over, Beg, and speak. You swipe the screen a sertain way to make them do the trick. If they get it right they get a dog biscuit if they dont they dont get a biscuit. Next we think the dogs should come with personalities. Say their is a dog name Poptart Im great at names Poptart. Play. Feed Stray Walk. Wash Personality- Sweet, Gentle So each dog will have its own personalities. Next thing we think you should add more energy. Instead of 20 what about 30. When there isnt that much energy we cant play that long and Im sure that works with other peeps too. Last thing, we think you should be able to make your own characters including employees. You came customize them and give them names. Ohhhh wait wait wait onnnnnnnne more thing. Sorry. We think when a dog is ready to get adopted a adoption festival kind of thing is held. Sometimes the dog wont get adopted but it also sometimes will. It should also say the name of the family and how much people are in it.
This is a really good game and very enjoyable, we definitely recommend it. Im not sure if it just happened to us but we came back onto it to find the intro and beginning tutorial playing again? The dogs and kennels we had before we came back on were the same but it reset our zone and rescue crew level back to 1, even though we were on zone 2 and a pretty high crew level, so now we will technically have to start over. We dont know if it was a glitch or something, but its definitely irritating.
A really cute game that is simple and fun. Especially if youre a dog lover, or (like me) work at an animal shelter. Downside is that, all things considered, there isnt much to do. Since we do work at an animal shelter, we know there are a LOT of things that go on and happen behind the scenes of one. So this game could definitely expand if it wanted. In the end, we give it 4 stars because it is what it advertises to be and the pixel graphics are adorable, but we feel it just needs a little extra something to do then just click on a ever rotating set of dogs. Maybe more mini games like the walk?
This game has a lot of potential. The graphics and idea are very cute, and we appreciate that it raises awareness, but the substance of the game is very lacking. The further you get into the game the longer you have to wait for things, and most of the time these waits have the worst payoff in the game. Its very annoying to wait 1+ hours waiting for your rescue crew to round up a dog, only to find its a stray you could have easily found in zone 1 while waiting 5 minutes. Completing the breed codex is one of the motivations to keep playing past all the upgrades, and honestly this wait time + bad payoff makes us want to uninstall and not waste our time anymore. But again, the awareness is a cool idea and the graphics are cute so Ill give it two stars for that.
This game is amazing but when we go to get a new dog on the map it sends us to the welcome screen! Why is that?!

The game is great but we wish there was more interactive games, like washing the dogs directly or tossing a ball/playing fetch with them, and isnt just limited to tapping to take them on a walk.
First of all, this game is fun and cute and we would totally recommend downloading and giving it a shot. Our problem is that the game is very small. Theres not much to do. We want to play it for longer spans of time, but other than the walking mini game we have nothing to fill that time. Id like more mini games or something else we can fill our time with. Otherwise, we really like the pixel art and the dogs are all very cute. We appreciate the short one minute wait times each task takes. We hope to see more from this game in the future!

We feel like this game could really go places! We love the idea of getting dogs, taking care of them, and having them be adopted. It would be cool if you could make their more things to do while you wait to get a dog. We also noticed that the bottom of our screen is cut off with a white strip. It would great if you guys could fix this bug because we cant read how our dog is feeling because of it. Please add more stuff to do on this game! So far we really love it! Thank you!!
