Literally the best game Ive played, Im not a fan of gaming but this game is so awesome ! We cried so much at the "we gently open the door" scene cuz seeing Sayori, which is our favorite character, in this state was so sad.. But anyways ! We really recommend people to play this cuz its such a masterpiece ! Yeah we know that some parts of the game may be very clich and scary.. But we had a lot of fun finishing this game and here we are, downloading it again to try new endings.. Anyways enough yapping bye ! :].
We cant explain how much we love Doki Doki Literature Club. We found out about this game when we were 8 years old. This game has been our favorite ever since (im 16 now) and we will always love this. 8 year old us is screaming.
We played this game when we were very young on our moms computer, but before that we couldnt play it because we had no idea how to download it. Im super happy its getting more attention and popularity, since its more easily accessible. We have no idea how ur gonna access files to delete smth on the game tho if youre on mobile.
Even if she did allat, she did realize how terrible it all was, holy peak character development, we love you Monika, redownloading the game bc shes simply so peak.

Doki Doki Literature Club is a good game because it subverts player expectations and uses its medium in a creative and meaningful way, it kinda like lures you in. At first glance, it appears to be a simple dating simulator with cute characters and lighthearted dialogue, you dont see anything that would go wrong. However, as the story progresses, the game reveals a much deeper and darker narrative that just throws you off guard. This contrast between appearance and reality immediately grabs the players attention and makes the experience memorable we feel like this is one of the best games out there that really got us in a state of impending doom. One reason the game stands out is its strong storytelling. The characters are written with surprising depth, and each one represents different emotional struggles such as depression, anxiety, and the need for validation. As players spend time with the characters, they become emotionally invested, which makes the later twists more impactful, once something bad happens you really grasp the real meaning. The game does not rely on traditional action or difficulty, but instead on emotional engagement and psychological tension. Another strength of Doki Doki Literature Club is how it creatively breaks the fourth wall most of the time. The game manipulates menus, save files, and dialogue in ways that are unexpected and unsettling. These mechanics make the player feel personally involved in the story, rather than just observing it. By using the games interface as part of the narrative, it proves how video games can tell stories in ways other media cannot such as games that heavily rely on one suspense device. The game is also effective in its use of horror. Instead of relying on jump scares, it focuses on psychological horror, building discomfort slowly through atmosphere, music, and disturbing imagery which is something that is relevantly new to us. It challenges the players expectations and demonstrates how video games can be used as a serious storytelling medium.
Our absolute favorite psychological horror game.
All Im going to say is Ive finished the game three times on the first day it came out on mobile. If we have any advice for beginners, Id say to be patient. The game has a lot of dialogue and it may be boring occasionally but its all plot building and character design. You will not regret reading all of those lines.
We love this game a whole lot, if youve never played before youre really in for a ride. Our favorite visual novel released, and if we wish we had that experience of playing for the first time again. It has so much replay ability exploring different routes and Easter eggs, we definitely recommend, glad this is on mobile so it gives more people a chance to play this amazing game.

That is truly all we can say about this game. We picked it up with prior knowledge of the game and a few little details. What we didnt know was how elaborate and disturbing a dating sim could be. Im someone who loves horror and find it very hard to get uncomfortable or afraid from most things in the genre. This was a hell of an exception. From pieces of the story to little details with small chances of appearing. This is truly the greatest horror game Ive ever played. Thank you.

Playing this on our phone after years and years of wanting to was probably one of the best experiences everrrr spoilers!! Like when the death scenes came up it was so cool we felt so immersed in the game, and when youre in the room with monika it was just so cool to have her there on our phone. Felt unreal 10/10.

(Spoilers) we went for Sayori at first but after we opened the door gently we went for natsuki. We were shocked to see Sayori like that. The Natsuki storyline was good. This game was a 10/10 and was peak.
This game was fire we always heard about it and we knew a lot going into it but even knowing go all the twist the game made us feel like we never knew any of these things ha were gonna happen it always kept our heart racing as we were playing it ts is so tuff 10/10 would play again.
We loved this game so much! We didnt even expect it to turn into dark but its so fun playing, especially when youre just..seeing them DIE or get deleted by Monika. We gotta say, this game absolutely impressed us, we recommend to play. BUTT when we tried playing it again when we finished the whole game, it said we had to reinstall because Im missing a file? We didnt understand but now its fixed :P BTW we LOVE SAYORI ^_^.

THIS GAME IS PEAKNESS first we want to start on saying we have LOVED this game for years now and we couldnt play it because we didnt have a pc. But since its on mobile we can play! The quality is amazing, not laggy and its just an amazing gameplay! SUPPORT AND PLAY THIS GAME.

The game is amazing, this is our first time playing it. Im really surprised how well this game works on mobile. But there is one issue, in the Chinese version, the second plot where the world resets after Sayori dies. If you write the poem to Natsuki, and during the reading manga part, you lag. Like we literally glitched out the game. We thought that was how the game works, until ours 5th try we realize its prolly an error. We had to research it. The way to fix it is to change the language to english(we were on simplified Chinese). So please fix it if you could.

No ads and the plot was amazing and it was genuinely the best game we have ever played mobile. We are not a big person on horror but this game wasnt too bad though a bit disturbing for sensitive people. The twisted endings were super cool and we would 100% recommend playing it.
