A Glimpse into Dot-a-Pix: Connect the Dots
Connect all dots to reveal a beautiful color picture! Each puzzle consists of a collection of color dots with clues next to each dot. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by connecting the dots in ascending order and according to their color starting with 1 and ending with the highest number.
Dot-a-Pix are an advanced adaptation of the classic dot-to-dot puzzles which provide high quality color pictures when solved. Starting with dozens and going up to several hundreds of dots, Dot-a-Pix puzzles create beautiful detailed pictures and provide the satisfaction as if you drew them yourself.
The game features a Bring to Focus button to help locate the active dot, and an option to instantly move the active dot to any number for faster solving.
To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.

This is a major update introducing a new architecture, features and improvements:
- Puzzle packs are now split into 2 sections: Library, showing the free and purchased puzzle packs you can play, and Shop, showing the puzzle packs you can buy.
- Added powerful filtering options by variant, difficulty, size, and price. You can now find your favorite puzzles easily and fast!
- Improved sorting options and added a ‘recent on top’. You can now easily find the last puzzles you were working on.
- Added previous/next navigation buttons to the completed puzzle screen. You can now start solving the next puzzle with a single tap of a button.
- Added a wishlist option in the Shop section. You can now mark the favorite puzzle packs you would like to buy in the future and view them in the wish list section.
- Added an archiving option in the Library section. You can now archive completed puzzle packs if you no longer want to see them in the Library list.

All your puzzle games are excellent! The best puzzle games on the store. But, please consider introducing a landscape mode, some puzzles especially this dots one; and the large puzzles in your other games would be better on landscape view.
Lots of fun. Better than most. Conceptis has good apps. We been doing this for a couple of days and not better than most. Its better than all. Its a surprise because you dont know what the picture is till you finish. Bring um on Ill try buy um all. Hoorah!H. How bout some more packets. Big ones, 1000 2000 dots. For us its really fun and come out with a great picture. Maybe 7 stars.
The first couple of puzzles we tried seemed too simplistic, but actually they were there to teach how to do these puzzles. Now that Im into the much harder puzzles, its much more fun, and not so easy. With hundreds of dots to connect, its easy to miss where each string begins and ends. We enjoy this app. We dont stress out at all, which is good in these stressful pandemic times.
If you can count this is an easy puzzle to do. The pictures are good.

Before we begin, let us state that this is not an easy review to write. Whereas literally every other app by Conceptis is a slam-dunk to rate, this one is not. We have been a fan of Conceptis for more than 20 years, often telling our friends to check out their puzzle apps and, before that, on the web. We’ve spent a fair bit of money on almost all of their apps (through in-app purchases) because of the high quality of the puzzles they present. That said, this is not one of the apps thats worth spending money on. Whereas their other apps contain puzzles that are challenging and make you think in different ways, this one … Isnt like that. A glorified connect-the-dots puzzle where the only true challenge is related to the quality of your eyesight. If this app were our first introduction to Conceptis and the puzzles they create, Im not sure Id want to check out their other puzzles and thats a true shame. Thats not to say theres anything wrong with this app. Like their other apps, its well designed and clearly a lot of thought and effort has gone into making this app. In terms of technical achievement, its as good as their other apps. Its just, well, lackluster in terms of the actual content. Do we dislike it? No. But Ill keep spending money on their other apps because the high quality content we’ve come to know and expect from Conceptis, is there, not here.
Did you recently add extra puzzles in the two sets where no money was needed to pay for them? We first downloaded Dot-A-Pix in 2018 when it was a new application. But we changed iPhones twice since then, and on August 14, the anniversary of our brothers wedding, we put Dot-A-Pix back on, and discovered you now have 28 puzzles in each free group, and more dots! Thank you! Why not make the paid sets 25 puzzles per set, and additional dots to mean more difficulty?
We only have one thing to complain. So, you can replace the weekly bonuses but you have to replace the old ones. But we like the old ones and dont want to replace them. On the other hand, we do need new ones because we cant pay for the extras. So if possibly that could be changed………………… Otherwise the game is perfect!

We love these apps. For this one, remember when you played Connect-the-dots as a kid? This game does a great recreation of that.
Love it very much. We used to play it online on computer.
We didn’t think I’d like this game, but we do. It’s fun and fast, yet not so easy that every move is clear. Sometimes we race against the clock, but you can turn off the time if you prefer. Enjoy!

This seems an odd entry to this publishers list of apps. Everything theyve put out before are very strong puzzles, which require some thinking. With this, not so much. Dont get us wrong, its entertaining, but its certainly not challenging.
These dot-to-dots are fun and easy to do, when you need to keep your hands busy without much thinking. However, the price for additional puzzles is too spendy. Twenty puzzles are not worth the $2.99 for the quick time it will take to complete even the largest puzzle.
This is less of a puzzle than most of the Conceptis games, but we find it oddly satisfying to work the dot to dots, starting at number one and never skipping a number. Sometimes we zoom through them, and sometimes we have to search to find the next number.
Unlike their puzzle apps, theres no real challenge here its literally just dot-to-dot. It would be better classified as a childrens game than a puzzle. Also, dragging doesnt seem to work, despite what the instructions say, so you have to tap, tap, tap, tap the hundreds of numbers not a very pleasant solving (or playing) experience.
