You are a nameless skeleton in the Dark Lord’s army. After a chance encounter with the Princess, who was abducted to become the dreaded Dark Lord’s wife, you found yourself setting her free. Guide the Princess from the shadows in Skeleton Form, switching to Hero Form when it’s time to mount a gallant offense! Can you spring the Princess from the castle?

・The Story
Once upon a time, the Princess of a faraway land ruled in tranquility–until she was kidnapped by the scheming Dark Lord.
The Dark Lord was bent on making the unwilling Princess his bride. Locking her away in his castle, he ordered a skeleton to keep a stern watch over his prize. The docile henchmen kept to his orders… at least at first.
The weeping beauty before the skeleton conjured strange feelings. Yes, he wanted to return the Princess to her former life, away from the Dark Lord’s marital machinations! And so it was the lowly skeleton betrayed his master and set the Princess free.
But can the pair make it out of the castle in one piece? Our story begins…

The visuals we found very unique & charming. The princess you guide needs your help, but thankfully is no lemming. She runs away from monsters & doesn’t walk off cliffs. We love this game, simple as that, it have a nice of touch of feelings specially the end (if you played all the story you will get the last message). They really need another sequel for it.
GungHo deserves a lot of credit for localizing Dokuro to the English-speaking world, as this is a challenging puzzle platformer game with unique, charming artwork that evokes shadowbox puppetry theaters, an artform that has steadily lost ground to newer forms of entertainment on the television or on the computer screen. Everyone from children to adults can find something to love in this game.
Absolutely love this game! It’s a great mash up of 2d platformer and puzzler. The game has a creative story line, charm and perfectly matches up with the games chalk like graphics. Kudos to the developers on creating a unique game that has different elements and making it work. We’ve been looking for a game like this for a long time.
This is exactly the type of creative, deep, and well thought out game we’ve thought has been few and far between on iOS. We paired this with the MadCatz mfi controller and it is like our iPhone 6 has become a top tier game console. Dokuro is well worth your time and cash. Whimsical and brilliant.
Best platformers game on iOS. This game gives you a Limbo and Mario like gaming experience. Limbo like puzzle and Mario like boss fight both combine into one. A much play game for iOS gamer who love platformers game.

Skeleton man sure knows how to treat a lady. Later the skeleton,can change into a prince, check it out guys its awesome. Combat is great too. Puzzles aswell. Im glad this sort of games exist.
We’ve had such a great time playing this game. The levels have been challenging, but not too long. They’ve done well progressing the game so that it doesn’t become stale, good environments and a fun little story. We were on the last level, played a little bit at a time over months. Now since IOS 8.0, now 8.02, we’ve lost all our data, tried to start over and it crashes constantly. Plus it won’t save.
This game is awesome. The latest update added "ads," but only on the title screen, and the only one we’ve seen was a link to download dokuro wallpapers. So yeah, if that sounds frightening to you then we guess you might not want to download it. But the game is very fun, challenging at times, and looks great. We love everything about it.
Dokuro is a PAID game, and yet this new update decides to add Advertisements to the main screen? Really? REALLY??? If you’re considering buying this for the first time, don’t. The game itself isn’t bad, it’s one of trial and error with nice graphics/aesthetics. For them to suddenly try and put in the ads though, is just plain insulting. If you’ve already got the game and are thinking of updating (because you read these reviews first before tapping that ol’Update button) then please, don’t.

We usually don’t spend money on games, but the artwork on this one caught our eye. It was so worth buying! It has a nice album, artwork is really great, a very nice story and it it adorable while very adventurous :)! We highly recommend; especially if you love puzzle games!
Its like super mario but with a skeleton. Such a great game. Its dark but what your doing in the story is the opposite and its nice. Id pay twice the amount for this game.

One of the best and most unique games we’ve played to date. As the levels progress the difficulty makes the game interesting and the quality of artwork is astounding. Totally worth the price.

A great game, one of the best puzzle platformers we’ve ever played. It’s more puzzle than platformer, but that actually makes it a better game on the iPhone.
Games kinda boring at first. All you do is jump and attack using the same moves over and over and over again.. The puzzle strategy is always fun. To be honest we were expecting something a little different but we’re not gunna lie it’s a great time killer. The art is very intriguing and somewhat mystical and beautifully gothic, sorta reminds us of the nightmare before Christmas.
We seem to be out of sync with other reviewers. Not a bad game, but found it boring from the start.
Nothing fun here. Save your money.
