Door Kickers: Action Squad is a crazy old school side scroller action game that puts you in the role of a SWAT trooper and sends you to deal with the bad guys in Nowhere City USA.
Choose your gear, then kick the doors down and face the action. Adapt and react by the seat of your pants, and if needed – restart without a care and rethink. Master weapons recoil and time your reloads, use distance and cover to your advantage and use the in-game Strategic Abilities to decide for yourself when healthpacks or gear refills are needed, or if that team-mate of yours is worth saving. Game is great and we wouldve gladly paid more for it. The only thing we would ask the devs to add is co-op as it feels like the game is distinctly deigned for it but just doesn't have it. Also fragging your teammates in any game is funny.
This is probably the most underrated game Ive ever played on iOS with multiple levels, characters to choose from, and great physics.
Loving this game please more violence and more gangs not because Im a weirdo its because this world we live in is crazy and we really enjoy different scenarios about reality id be happy to pay for more content if added thank u.
This game is awesome this is our second time purchasing this game but its missing one real concept and that is co-op they should add a online version where you can team up with one person locally or online that would make the game amazing.
Honestly we didnt play the game at first when we downloaded it, but we were bored in class and hopped on and probably had the most fun we had in a while on a mobile game. The levels are actually difficult at times, so whenever you fail you got to analyze every turn and do things differently each time which we enjoy. Also the variety of operators and gadgets really make the game more enjoyable.
We only downloaded this game a week ago and it is perfect. It should be more than 5 bucks for just how perfect it is. Being completely honest here, whenever we have free time, we always find ourselves playing this game for just how good it is and because it always brings joy to our face but while playing theres also been a problem Ive been thinking about and it is Co-op. Ive seen so many videos online of Co-op and it seems so fun!! We think it would add much more value to the game if you add it. Maybe do something like what Soul-Knight did with their co-ops. But thank you developers for such an amazing game.
The pixelated violence reminds us of old Spectrum games, while the colorful scenery and flawless controls add a modern touch. Great fun.
Will we ever get a sequel? This game is so gooooooood.

If you like retro games youre gonna love this game no doubt . And if youre new to retro games you gotta check this out.
Amazing game. Only thing we would change is for newer phones with a bezel cuts off d pad which gets annoying sometimes. Also please add way to change the size of dpad and buttons and a control map that is customizable.
Can you make it so we earn skill points by killing the enemies we cant even make it to the 1st floor because im one hit away from dying because we cant buy anything.
We love the variety you get with this game. Also, if you saw open a civilian with the Breacher SAW, the game crashes.
We didnt know a game like this can be on mobile since its like no other but on the other hand there is one issue that remains when playing breacher with automatic shotguns or shooting through too many targets it can really distort the audio and make the sounds delayed is the only issue we have would give the game 11/10 but this issue is quite annoying hoping the developers can fix this in a another patch, although great game.
It's fun just not the same without Co-Op.
4 stars because on any other platform there is co op or online which we think would make this a way better experience.
Overall, it is a decent game with good pixel art, cool differences in playable characters, and a decent upgrade system. However, the controls and how you die in one hit is annoying. We have no doubt that being one shot is on purpose, but, its so lame when it comes to getting cheap shored when going into a roll where an enemy can one tap you before you can turn, hot fire, and hope that your shots count. Then, if you are lucky, maybe the three guys behind you didnt also one tap you. When you do, you restart entirely, so getting cheap shotted and the clunky controls are even more annoying and reparative. All in all, 3/5, but its nice to see a well made game compared to other slop pushed out now.
The controls are simply really clunky and uncomfortable. Especially in comparison to the steam vers.
The game is good. We own it on PC and really enjoyed it. However, the frame rate is very low on our iPhone 13 pro max. We think its capped at 30 fps. The frame rate lock should be removed.
We would like to play in chapter 8 please.
Ive been playing Door Kickers for a couple years now since the first release and we are hoping there would be a multiplayer addition to this game soon.
We truly love this game, it started feeling hard but as you progress that same difficulty is what makes you love the game.
The title says it all. We absolutely adore this game, we have bought it on the Xbox, our PC, our Nintendo switch, and now on our phone. Its a very simple game, just pick an operator and run around either rescuing hostages, or killing all the enemies on the map. While simplistic, it is quite difficult, as your able to die very quickly by most enemies(which we appreciate) You may be asking, if Im praising this game so high, why is it 4 stars instead of 5? Mainly its due to the lack of co-op. Any other platform this game is on, Xbox, PC, PS4 even the Nintendo Switch, has Co-Op and multiplayer. We understand the frustration of bringing in the mode while door kickers 2 is being developed, but we feel co-op could make this port of the game even better. Other than that, we havent encountered any glitches or bugs to harm our experience. Overall, an excellent game, and fantastic work from the developers.
You guys should make a endless zombie mode thats wave based so you start on round 1 and the zombies are easy and every round it gets harder and zombies get more health and every round its different kinds of zombies and make it so you can change your loadout at the end of each round and be able to upgrade your gun with the money you make from killing zombies and with the gun upgrades should be like maybe you can have lazer bullets or fire bullets and be able to buy turrets or even call in a back up so that you can call up a npc to come help you fight but make it so they can die and you will have to get another one if they die but all these features are only in the zombie mode or you can do a mode with endless zombies or humans who shoot back but you have to make it wave based im telling you its gonna get good results from the community we promise.
We love the game so far (just got it today) and we have found the gameplay is very fun! We live jumping down and breaking through a glass ceiling to kill all the bad guys in the room with a shotgun. We love the art style and retro type gameplay but we have found it is VERY hard to pass missions without killing a hostage or dying near the end of the mission, we wish there was some difficulty settings or an easier way to get starts to upgrade our guys. Other than that this game is amazing and we cant wait for future updates.
The game insists you can play with others but there is no multiplayer nor can u have battle buddies.
So we were hoping perhaps you guys could add twin stick controls to the game and make the abilities still button based, but we find that twin stick for aiming crouching, jumping, and such is highly needed. Why should we be forced to be on the same floor as our enemy to kill them? Let us aim up down and diagonal so we can be more tactical. Other than that and quite a few sound errors this game is pretty good.
Ive played games that are actually good that feature 2D, 16 bit and retro style. But we guess it is not realistic to think every game that has those elements is good. This game features very difficult and unrealistic missions and anti-fun gameplay. We thought this game would be the opposite but now we regret buying it.
This game is a solid 5/5, and if theres anything Id ask for, itd be multiplayer. And even if you dont add multiplayer, its still super fun, with all of the game modes and operators to play as.
We love this game and door kicker its personally two of our favorite games ever and we hop to see more in the future. There is a sound glitch were it will say one thing over and over till you get to the end please fix.
Is it possible to introduce keyboard controls if you dont have a controller.
This is a intense and enjoyable game.
We played this quite a bit on the PC, and was excited to see an iPad release. But once we loaded it up, we were surprised to see that controller support wasnt taken into account. Tried to play with the virtual controls, but we just cant find them usable. UPDATED: Theyve added and added some great controller support, so Ive changed our review to what we now think of the experience. Thanks for continuously updating the app, devs.

If you have any interest in the game go ahead and get it. All the concerns about customizing controls and flipping the screen have been fixed. Plays like a side scrolling hotline Miami but with tons of upgrades,skills and unlock able gear. Multiple characters to play as. Again if this game interests you in the slightest we dont think you will be disappointed.
The game itself is great fun, with some decent challenges. However, it would be WAY more fun with controller support. What harm is there in adding it.
Devs, this game is fantastic, but the walking controls are very frustrating. Add a joystick or maybe a dedicated jump button or perhaps both. The option to use a virtual joystick instead of the arrows would be nice. Also, Im not too opposed to the DPAD when we increase the size but just PLEASE make the size settings save when you exit the game. Otherwise, an amazing 5 star game.
This game is really fun and with 80+ levels and more game modes on top of that theres lots of content, devs just please add coop like the pc version.

This it the most idea side scrolling action arcade game to date. Why 3 stars you may ask? Poor clunky controls screaming for controller support. And no dev interaction with its iOS side. We understand door kickers 2 is coming out… But why not have one of the best arcade games on iOS before moving on.
This game is great. Superb gameplay and a ton of depth. A lot to do and will keep you busy for a while. Controls are really not good and the D-Pad is unresponsive at times. We hope controller support comes out soon. Definitely a 5-star game and worth the purchase.
We wish there were other npc swat members that follow you and help you out. We also think it would be cool that if you died you could become the other swat members.
It needs an update. If you can play it on any other platform you should. Its clunky like any phone game is, but they can fix all the issues by making a dedicated jump button, this button would switch to the action/interact button instead of the melee button doing likewise. You cant even drop down, which at this point wont allow you to collect all the secrets. Controls need work. Besides a few other audio bugs and weird frame rate/lag issues its totally worth 3 bucks, but play it on a different platform if you can.. Once they drop an update well see.
We pre-ordered as soon as we seen a guy play this game on YouTube on the pc. The game is awesome however, we have held off from playing it thoroughly until controller support is provided. Update: Listen, you have an amazing game. 5 stars worthy. Take the time to add Bluetooth controller support. We dont dont care how you adjusting the screen controls you do, this game is just not meant for touch controls. Your killing yourself by taking the time to adjust on screen controls instead taking that same time to properly implement a Bluetooth controller. Please hire somebody and raise the price to $6.99 to cover the work. Then watch your ratings rocket to the top ten.

Absolutely epic worth every cent spent, fans of r6 siege will very much enjoy this game. Our only complaint is the D-pad, hopefully soon theyll add customizable controls/ joystick added. Also the screen is a little cut off because of the iPhones notch hopefully a patch can fix it. Definitely 5 stars when these things are addressed.
Please for the love of all things living give us customizable controls. The dpad is horribly small it gets us killed so much we rage quit.
This game is very fun and colorful, but every-time we would finish a level and move on to the next, the game would crash. We dont know why, can you please fix this.
