We mean its fun BUT THERE ARE SOME BUGS THAT ARE THE WORST for example there is 2 Different types of Gems Normal Gems and Paid Gems Normal Gems u get them from Somewhere like Beating Lvls And like Daily rewards But Paid gems is from paying to get this type of gem we Think its pretty DUMB and theres one thing that bugs us is When you start playing the game With for example WiFi You can only play with that WIFI ONLY So that means after that you cant play with like mobile data which is SO ANNOYING LIKE WHAT IS THAT! And the games Events are real hard For example we played the Killing machine Revenge Special battle And we STAND NO CHANCE we DID LIKE 0 DMG we had to Retreat! This is one of those not beginner friendly type of game Cuz the difficulty of the game But the game is really fun Recommend trying!

Im not sure why Im bothering to write a review as we doubt many people care but the gacha system combined with the auto play system and free gems from the start mean that we had 2 s class and 3 a class champs in the first 5 minutes. Everything is pop up notifications and requests to pay for crap. Dragon quest used to be one of our favorite games and this horrible knockoff sullies that memory. Trash.
We love this game. Its fair, fun, always has events going on, and features all our favorite monsters and heros from the dragon quest series. You dont need to spend any money to get super strong. Simply a masterpiece!
We appreciate how in certain modes you build teams of weaker monsters like slimes. It gets progressively harder and you really have to push the limits of your slimes. Its a nice way to forget about getting the most op characters and just enjoy the characters themselves and what you can do with them.
You did a final fantasy bewotv event, we think you should do a final fantasy 7 event with cloud as character you get after first chapter finished and Barret and Areth as the characters you get from 10 tickets at once in chance 15 times or 3000 gems for 15 times and in the second part its red 13 and Tifa for the same rule and in the third part its Sephiroth and Ramuh. (Idea for cloud his abilities are blade beam, Limit charge which enhances Omnislashs attack power, and his coup de grace is Omnislash.) idea for red 13 you could retexture a great Sabre cat and make it unique and give it the name red 13 and give it new abilities. Also for ramuh retexture Kiryl no hat give him a robe replace his spear with a staff and make his abilities thunder, thundara, thundaga, lightning enhance, and his coup de grace is mega thunder storm which effects 9 spaces of the stage. The equipment is buster sword and the stats are +40 attack, areths staff and the stats are +30 mp, and tifas glove and the stats are +20 agility. Im just recommending it for final fantasy fans. But it is a great game five stars for us.
We’ve probably spent around $400 on in-game purchases (gem packs) over two years of playing the game. We try not to spend on games, but sometimes its hard to resist and we justify it by having not spent anything on consoles or console games. That said, we track when we make in-game purchases and how much. Today, a purchase was billed against our account during a time that we wasnt on our phone. (No, we dont have kids or other devices with this game). We’ve since deleted the game. It was fun while it lasted.
They got rid of all free gem and ticket scouts today, and replaced it with a single 3000 paid gem one. Officially no way to get ANY characters in game anymore without spending money.
Hi so we think the game is really good. But we always wonder why no metal slime, Liquid Metal slime, and dragon quest 8 witch? But besides that we really enjoy the game keep up the good work.
We personally feel that out of all franchise mobile games, this is a great use of the IP. The only reason we took a star off is because it seems very short, we started playing idk, 20 mins ago? We are already on chapter 3. In summary, good game, short.
We were hoping to see Japanese as one of the options, but apparently you can only get it on Japanese apple store. We wish you could include Japanese in one of the options as well.

A game with balance in mind in every way, for the daily player, for the casual player, multiplayer driven or self motivated gamer its got something for everyone. So many playable favorites from all of the games fans grew up with and tantalizing ease for those new to the franchise 5 star without doubt!

Im not one for mobile games, but this is a blast. We’ve always been a huge Dragon Quest fan so maybe Im bias but this game is colorful and fun just like the rest of the franchise. We enjoy the monster collecting aspect of it as well as the tactics and while the story isnt the greatest thing ever, its definitely holding our interest and the characters are as lovable as dragon quest characters tend to be!
This game is great for those who are fans of the Dragon Quest games as this includes many monsters and characters from the series. It could probably even be enjoyed by those who are not fans of the series as this is a unique game that lets you have characters that are of every shape and size while most are not even human. The story is very cute and quirky make us smile every time.
When your updates start breaking the game there is something wrong, and then they start breaking the game for people who subscribe only, we begin to wonder why waste any more time or money on this hot garbage.
Game qs a decent idea but the free gems they give you cant be spent on any draw. Every draw is only for paid currency. Highly recommend avoiding if you aren’t going to spend alot of money. Game is meant for whales, your better off buying a actual dragon quest game.
This game is predatory and pay to win. The draw rates and scouting system are designed to create fomo and encourage using real world money if you want to get the best party. Do yourself a favor and play a main line series dq game. Even the dq monster games are better than this.

DQ Tact was very addicting in the beginning. You get lots of level up materials, upgrade materials, etc. Once thats over, the grind begins and the game becomes a chore to play. All you can do is progress the story to a certain point (before it becomes too hard) and play all the little side missions. Playing in the arena is tough as you may only be matched with people way above you. Their teams are like 4 S rank (level 100+) characters that new players likely do not have. You just get wiped out and it doesnt rematch you to a lower level team. Theres no way to progress in some of the arenas. That being said, we still do enjoy playing from time to time. Log-in bonuses can be great, such as free scout tickets for S rank team members.
Takes an eternity to start up. Then presents a sea of Vegas-style menus and landing pages to drown in while searching for the gameplay. It made our eyes bleed. And if thats not enough, it wont even start in airplane mode. Disgusting trash.
If we could play this game on multiple devices without backup restore junk like every other mobile game it would be 5 star.
Extremely frustrating! You get to a certain point where you cant progress anymore. Decided to give this game another shot after feeling underwhelmed and how much you need to grind to get anywhere. You just hit a point where unless your pushing beyond the upper echelons then why bother.
This was a good game at the beginning. But it has become 100% pay to win game. We are not saying pay $10 a month. We are saying if you want to win, you will have to spend $2000 every week. In order to keep up with the new characters. So, enjoy burning money. In addition, the customer service is shtty. They only push away questions, not answering.

This is a great game and there are so our things to explore. We are having loads of fun playing this game. So get on and play if you want the great adventure.
Its a proper gacha game very directed to fans of the franchise. Although it has its own main story it is definitely more for fans to acquire their favorite characters. On that note it could be a good starter for new fans to get into the franchise and see what the DQ universe has to offer. Though we havent gotten to the heart touching story the main games tend to have it still is very much a cute and entertaining game. Cant wait for the DQXI event, Veronica needs to be in our roster, if not the entire cast!
Hands down the best free to play to game we’ve ever played. There is loads of free content, and while it does have cash shop none of it is essential to progress, there are no items or monsters that cant be earned through just playing the game.
We kind of slip in and out of the mood for strategy games, but this is a game we find myself returning to more than some of the ones we’ve paid for!

Left multiple reviews so here goes another, maybe the makers will start getting a hint. Half the levels are unplayable, tried playing a level where 14000 was the recommended power level with a party that had 20000, still lost, whoever thinks of the stats for this game must be a real genius. If something doesnt change with all the bad parts about this game it probably wont last. We feel bad leaving as many bad reviews as we have because we loved this game franchise but this is ruining it.
