A Glimpse into Dragonfist Limitless

Laugh and grind through very slow but weirdly rewarding martial arts training! You may start off weak and hardly feel your progress, but this game is uniquely designed to stimulate delayed gratification instead of the easy, instant rewards and handholding most modern games lavish on you. Luckily, your extremely sassy (and possibly a little bit evil??) Sensei will keep you motivated.

With gradually unfurling layers of complexity, Dragonfist Limitless is an epic training montage lovingly crafted by a single person, in which you must raise your Power Level and master new fighting techniques, all so you can get revenge on Emperor Axemetal and his Five Generals of Beatdown…

Now, cram in an incremental prestige loop with loads of leveling up and big numbers and stuff to spend gold on, constant bad jokes, overpowered shonen tropes, bizarre subplots, online chat and weekly leaderboards, and you get… whatever on earth this is!

RICH STORY
With over 40,000 words of pitch black comedy and lovable characters

** NO GREED OR PAY 2 WIN!**
You can make purchases to support the game, but they’re not required to play competitively.

FIGHT
to get gold and finally buy some pants! Fight strategically, or don’t–you can also just get strong and bludgeon your way through blocking enemies

LEVEL UP
by boxing, lifting weights, balancing, unlocking your ki and MUCH more to exponentially increase your Power Level

UPGRADE
your exp gains with loads of stacking multipliers like Scrolls, Tomes, Achievements, clothing, advanced lessons and literally also the souls of your enemies

COLLECT
rare items that boost your gold and exp so numbers get bigger, and bigger, and bigger!

COMPETE
online in the weekly leaderboard to have the highest Power Level in the multiverse

STUDY
under various masters to earn powerful moves like Energy Beams, Thousand Fang Stance, and the infamous Gut Blender attack! Every move is uniquely balanced with its own strategic importance, for example Wave Fist Style is a defensive move that exhausts an already weakened opponent

SECRETS
galore! There are lots of powerful ways to min-max your gains for the most efficiency, but only if you’re on the ball…

Dragonfist Limitless plays like a weird fusion of an old-school side-scrolling beat-’em-up and a clicker/tapping game with satisfying incremental progression (meaning the game is about chasing bigger and bigger numbers). It’s a unique reimagining of the idle/incremental schtick, with more emphasis on ACTIVE PLAY and only very light idle features (which are unlocked a little further into the game).

Strap in for the long haul and get ready to train hard!

Please note: Dragonfist Limitless is an online-only game with chat and competitive leaderboards and thus requires an active Internet connection in order to play.

We have been playing this game for roughly a month. We have enjoyed every single part of it, to say the least. We usually dont get attached to mobile games, but this is an exception. The developer clearly put love and hard work into this game. Its funny, entertaining and just great in general. We love grindy games that have a lot to offer. We have over 70 hours of playtime and Im not even halfway done with the game. Just download the game. Its free.

Havent give a review in a while. This game fun.

Absolutely love this! Only a couple hours in but am hooked.. Hilarious, well written, well thought out grindy fighter. Well done dev!!! Cant wait to get further. People complaining about the grind obviously didnt read the description or reviews, dont know what they expected.. We havent found it too grindy at all. We mean we were expecting it, but was immediately having fun and highly entertained by the witty writing.. Don’t listen to the haters dev! You obviously have lots of folks like us that get what youre doing and looooooooove it!!! 10 out of 5 stars all the way.

Very interesting game so far not so deep but love it.

The game is great and we’ve been really enjoying it. Our complaint tho is that after we bought the starter pack to remove ads we stopped getting the ad buffs as much. We were getting them every time they ran out and sometimes multiple before but now we dont get one for 10-15 minutes.

In the famous words of our friend Matt just a few days ago, No passion. This game is by far our favorite game of all time on our phone. We just read a review where some guy complained about the enemies backing up and shooting energy beams and all we got to say about that is bro you must absolutely blow at the game. This game takes genuine skill and strategy and you cant just spam your attacks or just block forever and we love that. Grow up, be better, have some patience. If you like a game with real depth and that feels like genuine love, effort, and thought was put into it, this is the one for you. Plays out just like we could wish and sure, progress might be slow but like we said have some patience, if you cant grind just a little bit(or a lot) we hate to think how you deal with real life. Its like going to the gym or doing something new, youre not gonna see results on day one. Thank you.

Best fighting game in a while it reminded us of dbz devolution and the grind is worth it.

Mom always puts lettuce in our sammich and by the time we eat it, its all brown and mushy! But she doesnt listen. 10 outta 10 despite mushy lettuce.

The game is amazing combat is fun especially for a mobile game and some of the training mini games are actually challenging at first.

We were ent sure what we were expecting for this game when we downloaded it but it did not disappoint! This game has lots of grinding but it can be fun. And if you keep playing and get really strong the game is exiting flashy and cool and you get a glimpse of it in the prologue. Im about to get back on our grind but we would totally recommend if you like grind and fun.

Slow start but what really drew us I. Is how responsive dev is to feedback Be warned its a slow start but its worth it.

We’ve truly fallen in love with this game so much that Im writing a review. We’ve put in so many hours to it and its a blast. In future updates we would just love to get the version we see in the dreams or even some type of own ssj transformation when grinding through power. More moves and masters would be pretty cool. And possibly just more to do as well quest wise. Fighting enemies over and over again is fun but we feel like there could be more thats missing. Thank you for making this amazing game though and we cant wait to see what you do in future updates. Im really looking forward to them!!

We can tell the creator watches or watched dragonball nd loves the whole power concept jus like us this is the best game on the app store the most addicting game we’ve ever played good job.

We really like this game. It states at the start it will be grindy but thats kinda our thing even though it may not be for everyone. The jokes are funny if a bit disturbing (Which in our opinion is hilarious). The story is a comedic spin on traditional revenge stories. Training is slow starting but once you hit the first major hurdle it speeds up a lot. Ads arent intrusive and we honestly wanted to watch more just to support the dev. But we do have one problem with scrolls. It takes a lot of dt to earn another scroll slot even with the dragon fist pack which doubles daily dt. Another thing is that its really hard to know how effective a scroll would actually be. For example, some scrolls work way better in the beginning than they do later in the game and the only way to know how effective one is you have to get it and then constantly check your stats as you level it. But maybe its just Im not understanding something. But we do really enjoy this game and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a grindy but very rewarding game.

So unique and awesome. Love it!

Imagine the War Thunder grind, but it plays like street fighter, and has idle game ascension mechanics, and you get this game. Oh, and it has lots of references to some pop culture (namely anime). Definitely would tell a friend about it.

We absolutely LOVE this game. The mechanics, the grind, the goofy dialogue, all of it. Its quite interesting to see the game tease you with high power levels and abilities that arent even unlock-able in the main game, then completely wipe you clean to show how weak you are. Overtime, you start to play the start of the game, and it does feel like a pain. However, the grind is worth it and gives such a satisfying experience that reels us in every time we go to look at games we want to play. The dialogue is really goofy, and its nice to get some laughs in with a game that requires patience and time. We know theres still more for us to explore, but for a dude with a short attention-span, it feels really nice to play a game that really nails home, delayed gratification. We can guarantee this is a first for us getting a good experience out of a game that requires brutal grinding. Amazing job, dev! We wish you the best.

Been punching a bag for a min and we like it.

This game is unbelievable. It really makes you feel like some sort of fighter. The dev is incredible. Super humble, barely any ads, this is a type of game that makes us want to spend money to support him. We love it, you wont be disappointed.

What more needs to be said? Soy was defeated and mayo reigned supreme thru our victories.

This game is simply as good as it gets.

We have been playing this game for a while and it has become our favorite which made us question if there will be more content to the game and more forms like goku has. Would love a reply.

We like the Grindy part of its 200x more rewarding when you get a new move other than any other game in existance we love everything about this game we need more fire content!!!111!!!11!1!1!1.

Yeah we did this cuz the homeless guy asked.

We wasnt sure how to edit our previous review. But we decided to give the game another chance and take it slow (it is a grindy game after all). The beginning is so tediously grindyBUT, after pushing through a bit the gameplay loop becomes so satisfying. Im hooked now! Very fun incremental for while watching a show/movie. Community is quite helpful and fun in chat as well!

Grindy indeed but once you get that next significant upgrade, achievement or unlock it is indeed gratifying. Well balanced and well thought out. Excellent humor on top of it all. Being stalked while Im out with Karen is quite the plot twist. Im not to far along compared to others so we should be entertained for quite some time. Well done.

Theres a bug where we get gear from a previous area because Im in forest 2 but its giving us gear from forest 1.

We love this game because of its unique fighting style, growing playerbase, and the fact that it tells you its Grindy. Theres really nothing more to it other than the funny humor and the hobo basically being the creator, and of course, Tarquin.

Out of all phone games that we have played this is one a few that we would consider the best.

Its crazy how many people dont like this game because they think its slow when it literally says it designed for delayed gratification.

We love this game already and we’ve been only playing for like an hour! Honestly you should install this amazing game!

This is a very down to earth refreshing game and you just have to grind.

We really like this game and we recommend it to everyone 10/10.

Definitely not a really fast game, but very fun, engaging and manages to not be easy but not feel like a waste of effort.

Quite literally the best mobile game we’ve ever played.

It is exactly what its advertised to be its starts off slow but the promise of awesome moves and fights kept us going and Im so glad we did because after the first med it speeds way up and the dialogue also helps to keep you entertained Im hoping for more awesome updates with epic fights and characters.

This is a true indie game out of many this one that Is a game we can say is hard to find especially In the App Store this game was put together very neatly and Im happy we came across it.

Amazing game needs more content.

Please consider controller supports if not too difficult, it would be nice to play on a Backbone, especially since there are only a few buttons.

Love the mechanics very easy to pick up and play.

Its got a peculiar charm to it and it makes us giggle.

Not bad could have been better.

We know that the name of the game is "delayed gratification", and it was made clear at the start that the gameplay would be incredibly grindy, which is why we’re still giving this 4 stars, but the training exercises are so tedious and repetitive that they feel like actual exercise but without any of the endorphins or IRL physical improvement. We were still able to make it all the way to the point where Sensei leaves you while you’re training to fight Necromancer because the promises of large numbers and Dragon Ball-style fights were too appealing to resist, and it was also stated that the game would get more engaging over time. However, if we’re not mistaken, the majority of the gameplay is still taken up by repeatedly pressing a button and waiting for a green XP bar to fill up. If you enjoy watching a pixelated character slam his fist into a punching bag for hours on end, then, by all means, play this game, but we don’t see a reason why anyone with a functioning PC or console should play this instead of actually having fun with a game like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Love the story, the dialogue, the art, the combat, and the sound. The two things we dont like is how disgustingly grindy the game is (2 hours to get a power level of 2) and how the enemies fight. 9 times out of ten they just sit there and hold block and ki blast occasionally and the second we get within their range they hit us and the cycle repeats. A good idea would be have different types of enemies like aggressive ones that dont block and kind of rush you and then defensive ones that block more and wait til your stamina is low or until you attack to strike back, and maybe passive ones that play similar to how the player does. Also, please make the training take less time this is atrocious.

We think this game would be perfect with some PvP added. Clearly the game already has support for it since all battles are 1v1s, so we dont see why this shouldnt be a part of the game. (other than perhaps the dev teams lack of funds)

Very cool concept but the beginning is very tedious, but once you get past that it starts to pick up a bit.
