Really great, portrait, minimalist look, good AI, smooth play. A must-download if you like poker but dont like all the absurd poker game apps out there. Our only request would be a gameplay speed option if possible.

We’ve only come across a couple apps like this, but when we do, they become permanent fixtures on our phone. Compact (50mb), elegant, quality experiences that just simply deliver their purpose and dont demand anything in return. These are the devs and apps that we will always support. Most apps are designed to funnel users into profit. Apps like this are built as an act of service, a cut into the side of big profit and greed. For that reason, we paid $5 into the app today to hopefully buy the dev a coffee. We hope this review will help to pay for your next coffee, and maybe one after that. Thank you for doing what you do. Never quit. #RIPwinnoNews.

Super fun, just need to add multiplayer.

Great game. Wish their was an online mode.

Hi guys we love this game can u pls add a friends list where u can add ur friends + see their bankroll? And possibly other multiplayer related features.

Overall solid app. UI is clean and refreshing compared to the other popular poker apps. It would be cool if the win % changed based on the number of players left in the game. To our knowledge it doesnt do this currently. Overall great app though!

Very solid design; especially when compared with the standard poker apps. But terrible bot / NPC intelligence which makes it a very bad way to learn and generally play. Excited to come back and use the app when they integrate GPT or other modern AI models which make NPC decision making more rational. Keep up the good work!

If you want an app to play cards with and nothing more, you will probably enjoy this app. If you want to practice playing poker, and become a better player, this is not the one. The boys make absolutely no sense when it comes to when and how they bet. A CPU player with pocket kings will check back again and again and again despite an uncoordinated board and no over cards. Bluffing is not possible. The CPU will almost never fold post-flop. We’ve been called down by a CPU that had Q-6 off suit with A-K on the board with no possibility of a straight. It makes no sense. If you check, the bot will check. If you bet, the bot will call. 90% of the time if you raise pre-flop, you will get 5x re-raised. There is no logic to it. The only nice thing we have to say about the app is its sleek user interface, which we liked. Other than that, this was nothing less than frustrating to play as a somewhat experienced player.

At first, Offsuit seemed like a fun and easy way to practice your poker skills for FREE. However, after playing a ton of hands, we’ve realized this game has an AI that seems to know your every move and what hand you have. It’s nearly impossible to bluff post-flop, and you have a better chance of getting pocket aces in real-life poker than on Offsuit. Unless you play poker professionally, avoid this game.

Who designed this game? The players are garbage. They make huge 4x/5x blind raises pre-flop with nothing and then will check all the way down. Why do we have to hit Next Hand? Why doesnt the opponent hand show up when both are all-in? How this stuff made it passed playtesting is beyond me.

In an app game genre as old as the iPhone itself, Offsuit is a genuine breath of fresh air. No more ugly, 2009 looking graphics. No more waiting a day to get more (insert buyable currency here). No more crappy side ways for a simple game. No more slow and clunky interfaces that distract you everywhere. This app is a masterclass in giving us exactly what we needed, without us even knowing. Well done, thank you frankly.

We’ve been playing this app for a few weeks and absolutely love it the only thing we wish could be better is if the app had an option to show your stack size in big blinds.

We instantly fell in love with this game the moment we opened it. We played it for two weeks and then a new update happened that introduced skipping hands and suddenly the algo for hands and the overall play factor has appeared to take a nose dive. We dont think its a coincidence at all that Ill watch two ads to get 50 skips and within 60 mins of playing we’ve blazed through those 50 skips. We dont think we’ve ever written a review in the Apple App Store in the 15 years that we’ve been an iPhone user, but for sure we havent for a game. And Im writing this one out of pure disappointment.

Is the new update that highlights the best hand sometimes it will highlight cards on the table that have nothing to do with the hand at least to our knowledge that is. Other than that little thing we absolutely love the game we downloaded it about a month ago and we havent gotten tired of it. Thanks for making a playable game that doesnt annoy you to oblivion with ads. You guys are Awesome!

Love the aesthetics, would like an online mode.

Simple poker game and looks great. Our only want would be to have the AI have the same avatars every time just so we can remember which one took all our money lol.

This game will teach you how to beat bots but not how to play smart. The bots will always pre flop raise if they have a pocket pair or face card. They will also fold quickly at the start and you can play them by all-inning when they raise with a fairly high success rate. The bots dont seem to get harder or change much. There is some bluffing but not enough to make any difference. All-in-all the bots are not dynamic and end up being pretty predictable. Clean UI. Add multiplayer and this will be a fantastic app. Win strat: Dont play any hands until its just you and another bot All-in your hands with semi-winnable material after they pre-flop raise Win bc they fold.

We never write reviews but this is an absolutely beautiful and super fun app. Im honestly blown away by how much we enjoy it and we cant wait for all the new features in the horizon, especially multiplayer. That will be a game changer!

Very organized and easy to play!

They really nailed the UX here. This is easily the most beautiful poker app we came across. We appreciate that its a passion project and they arent trying to shovel ads or microtransactions at their users. We hope they continue working on it. One nice to have feature would be to increase the blinds as the tournaments progress. When you get down to 1 on 1 and the blinds are 0.2% of your stack, they become pretty meaningless.

Best offline poker without a doubt! Would be great to use memojis and maybe a cool lil soundtrack but perfect nonetheless.

We are a big fan of Paul Phua, thus we like this app.

We’ve been wanting a game this isnt full of ads, colors, pointless clutter and this is it. Im so impressed with the simple gameplay and pacing of the game. Very simple UI and no bloat. Do yourself a favor and download it.

Love the app. Designed well, looks clean, AIs function well. Only complaint we have is if two players have a 2 pair with same high card but kickers come into play, the kickers are never factored. We just had a hand where we had 2 pair As and 6s, with a queen kicker, and our kicker would play, but the app said we chopped. Other than that fantastic app.

When you look up poker on the AppStore, most of the apps you get are bloated, flashy online games that take up valuable storage, and push ads and microtransactions down your throat, never failing to mention their exclusive bundles and offers every time you open the app. Yeah, theres 2 or 3 offline poker apps, but its practically niche, and whats on offer still takes up SO much space! Offsuit is much different. Besides its minimal design that makes it fit in with more tech-oriented apps, it only takes up 50mb, has optional microtransactions and ads! And its completely offline to boot, with no registration nessecary! The only downside is that there ARE no accounts as of writing, but the app mentions that the developers are working on adding that in. If you wanna get better at poker, or just want to have fun with it without risking actual money, Id say to download this one. Its free, after all!

The AI makes ridiculous calls (e.g., calling more than the pot when the board is paired and they have no made hand) and then hits ridiculous 1-2% runner-runner draws to magically win about 40% of the time. The two stars are for the decent and clean UI, though you should be able to fold instantly and then the game auto-folds when its your turn, and you should be able to speed up the hands youre not involved in.

Love how sleek and well designed this app is! Im so sick of super busy and ugly poker apps, with too many distracting pop ups and ads everywhere. This one is simple & really easy to play – also love that you dont have to purchase anything to keep playing! Would definitely recommend.
