Use the blueprints editor to design a structure that will protect your dummy, Melvin, from some random danger. You’ll have to work with the available materials. Most of the time you’ll use wood, sometimes you’ll use concrete, but you must always use your most important asset: your brain.
A wise person once said: "An engineer is someone who can do for a dime what any fool can do for a dollar." In Dummy Defense, your design must not only be strong enough, it must be cheap enough to win. Building cheaper structures will earn you more stars on a level.
Create your design in seconds with the blueprints editor. If you make a mistake, simply tap the Undo button. Zoom in and out by pinching the screen and pan the view using a two finger drag.
While testing, you can see how the strain is distributed across your design. Areas that are under immense strain are colored bright red, while other areas are colored green. This allows you to find and fix problem areas in your design.
The slow motion slider lets you slow things down so you can see how your design is failing, and it is also incredibly fun to watch explosions destroying your design in slow motion.

Not so easy like most competition games.
We love this game. It is one of our favorites. It is very challenging, but who doesnt like a good challenge. It isnt even a bad price. And the add-on is another 99 cents, but still. It is a fun game. The ONLY thing we wish could be fixed is screen rotation. The screen wont rotate. It stays one way, but we hardly can stand it being upside down. It bothers us though. Probably not everyone. Other than that this game is great.
The only problem with this game is a glitch on the iPad where the inputs are inverted and upside down. But by just rotating your screen, it can fix the problem. Other than that, its a great game.
Solid 4 star game. Loses a star for having to flip our iPad to play and low content. Come on dev’s, let’s not be lazy now… Game is super short, but fun. Can be beat in under 2 hours… Might purchase the add-on content. We could see cutting your games short if you were pressured for time, but people expect much more from a game like this. Two hours is pretty short for the price. Some games last a long time with reply value for the same cost. We will admit, this game does have replay value. Fun game, with good physics, but crippled by very low content. EDIT: we purchased the add-on content. It’s super hard. If you don’t think the default levels are that good, don’t bother with the add-on content. It should have been included in the game anyway, not as a separate purchase IMO.
We enjoy this game more than Simple Physics. However, Not sure if an update came out but lately the game will not open. We miss it. Please update & correct & glitches. A game well worth it!
Theres an abundance of bugs in this app. We cant even press close after testing a design. Its a real shame.. Could be a cool app.
Now it starts upside down and cant get past the initial screen since none of the controls work. IPad Air 2 with iOS 11.3.1.
Look this game is advertised as a great cheap game but when we started it up it just flipped upside down and no controls work. Basically you took money from us. So if you dont fix it it is false advertising. We love your other games we have simple planes as well but this is doesnt live up to the standards you have set with all your other great games. We want this fixed or our money back. And Im not upset and frustrated over $.99 its the fact that this problem has not been fixed. We looked at vids of the gameplay it looked amazing but this is bad. We will write letters and even contact the people who run the App Store until this problem is fixed. Ill give you until Christmas Day to do this before we get really upset. And we dont wanna go there. We know that you may be spending more time on SimplePlanes 2 but you still have other needs that need to be attended to. Its like if you are the only doctor in the hospital. If you only ever focus on one patient the others will die. Just like if you only focus on one game all the others will die. We wan5 this fixed and we will keep checking in. If you are done with this game take it off the App Store and give us our money back. Im trusting in you to fix this. Your reputation as a one of the best devs in mobile history depends on it too. We hope you make the right choice if not ohhh boi Ill be back on Christmas Day. Thank You for your time.
Im an old fart (80 yo), and we love this game. It forces us to think about solving problems with geometry and physics. When we run out of thoughts on how to solve the current puzzle we can check the solution and learn from it. It’s hard to put the iPad down we enjoy this game so much.
We have most of our friends at work playing too.
So levels are harder than the others. It’s fun to see how cheap you can make the structures before they fail. Good for young and old.
This is such a fun game. When we got a note saying this game was Available it’s the fastest app purchase we’ve ever made. Half way through it and can’t recommend it enough. Easy five stars. These are the few kinds of games that really are good for kids.
Very good game when you have a few minutes to relax from work.

This game will teach you stuff you don’t know without you knowing you’re learning it. Which is a neat trick.

We are likely to buy whatever this developer puts out. We have really enjoyed these apps. Update the new content pack is a lot of fun! Don’t listen to the handful of people who apparently don’t feel they should ever have to pay for anything, it is well worth your .99 cents to support this developer who consistently delivers enjoyable games. Update 2 Playing it through for the second time… That is something we rarely can say about IOS games.

This is a really nice physics-esc game. One of the best physics games on the AppStore, along with the others from this creator.
While not entirely realistic, this is a very good cartoon version of accurate physics simulation. It is a lot of fun as the game encourages the most elegant solution to each problem.
One of the very few games where we’ve felt compelled to unlock other levels via In-App Purchase. Haven’t been able to put this, or Simple Physics, down.
You can run though it and go back make your designs better and cheaper. No one right way to do it.
We were introduced to this app by a good friend who was totally addicted! We thought that they were absolutely CRAZY! Once we downloaded the app, we understood why! Wow! You need to combine strategy with thriftyness to achieve the goal. We give this 15 stars. K8E Bug ~ age 12.
We love this companies physics games. Always entertaining. This is our least favorite of simple rockets and simple physics. But that’s like saying of the $100 $50 and $20.. The $20 is our least favorite… Though we still enjoy them..
We really love this app but by the next update it probably won’t work. The developer needs to update it so it can work with a more modern iOS system.
There are not enough level for being 2.99 should be free not many levels fun until we beat it in a half hour.
We like the game but there is no way to restore purchases. We spent an extra $3 on it and we can’t get it back!!! Needs to be fixed.
Just when you think you got this game figured out, the next challenge comes along to tell you NO! :P Interesting challenges, good clean fun, our 6 year old even has fun figuring out the first few levels!

Wonderfully fun little game. Some levels are quite challenging and all are fun. Another great physics/build game… If you’re an engendering type try it out, very fun! And remember that triangles are really strong shapes! We hope they keep adding levels. A free update would be nice ;)
We bought this game a long time ago, we were so excited about the sandbox mode, it worked for the first couple days, and we can still play the levels that I, and others created during that time, but anything more recent than a certain point doesn’t work, also, the rating system doesn’t work. When you click on best levels it just takes you to the oldest levels. And then proceeds in order of when they were posted, regardless of whether they were rated high or not.
Has its bugs like all apps tend to but overall this is one of the most enjoyable "thinking" games out. Can’t wait for next installment.
The double tapping feature zooms in and out when we tap a bunch of Times and the one-touch to move screen feature just moves the Screen around like crazy. Please fix that. Here’s the good part About the update: we have not tried it but it’s probably really awesome: Sandbox mode. Please make more games like dummy defense because otherwise its awesome!
