Tutorial is good but we skipped most of it so we had to lose a bunch before we could figure out what was really going on. Mechanics are simple enough but there is definitely a challenge. Great game if you like rouge-lites. Nothing super unique but still fun.
Not only does this take us back to the original Dungelot, but this is a very stand-up game all on its own. A teeny bit buggy, but honestly theres enough structuring in place to negate the bugs.
Please make another dungelot! Its been far too long and we all miss you.
A classic and addicting concept, perfect for mobile. While the game is great, it is very sad that the developer does not plan to support it any longer (full screen, freeze bug removal, more dungeons). May Dungelot live as long as the App Store.

We've played the first two versions of this game and this is the best of all. It's deeper than the first two but not too deep. We love how fast you can play a floor once you get used to the game. Fun decisions.
Dont listen to people complaining, yes the game can be very difficult at times and most times the odds are against you but, the game is FREE and there are no iap which is fantastic. Its actually a challenging and fun COMPLETE GAME which is rare with mobile games. If you play now and then the difficulty is not bad your characters will get better as you play and we personally like the difficulty. The game is not groundbreaking nor will it set the bar for anything specifically but its performs great , looks great , and do any want to force you into a paywall. Give it a shot, it may not be the best game out there but at least you know you can enjoy it as long as you have the will to play.
At the end of the game we were promised a continuation, so imagine our shock and horror to find that the last update of the game was two years ago. This game has been forgotten.
That really sums up the game. Dont be afraid to die it is a learning experience. Tip make sure to hold you finger over a tile if you are unsure of the effect.
Im enjoying this game very much so far. The graphics are cartoonish, but in a very smooth, well-done way, The gameplay is very addictive; this is a tough game, but you will keep coming back to try again, and the difficulty makes it rewarding when you finally complete that dungeon. If youre into Rogue-type dungeon crawlers, youll definitely enjoy this.
Perfect difficulty balance. Clever turn based RPG puzzler with good progression and rewarding levels. Someone mentioned bugs one year ago – Ive experienced one crash in many hours of playing. One tip on progression – switch from the Paladin to the Vampire when you get stuck – the resulting coins can be used to upgrade all characters by purchasing mansion items.

We really liked the first one, but they've really gone above and beyond here. First one was a fun time waster, this one feels like a more complete game.
System is interesting, not too complicated to learn, yes, luck definitely can make or break you, but there are also many points at which your decisions do make a difference. Style is fun, nice bits of humor in the dialogue. Easy to pick up and play for a short period. We've not run into any of the issues others have cited thus far, other than the dialogue box overlap. Overall, very well done.
We love this game but we notice many crashes on iPad Air in hideout :-/ Please fix it.
We love the game but seems to have a few bugs we get kicked out of the game for no reason a lot we hope they can patch this having a lot of fun with it . Also we be cool if you pick the hero you start with instead of just using paladin.
We enjoyed the web version so was pleased to hear about the mobile. The game is fun, can be chunked into reasonable play sessions, and if you arent a power gamer, will last a while. Our only critique is wishing they had an easy to find monster encyclopedia.

This is a very well balanced game overall, with clever mechanics and replayability. 4 stars because it crashes.. A lot! And whats more frustrating, you cant continue from where you left of in the dungeon when you close the app (or it crashes).
Fun and challenging game that is very easy to play & learn. The graphics are super as is the game play. Game has crashed only once since we downloaded it a few weeks ago and we play it daily. Would be nice if there was a store in the game where you could buy supplies before entering dungeons as the Hideout guy often times doesn't have what you need. Also looks like the game was last updated in 2016, yikes! Please give us an update so we can continue playing this truly fun game. Thank you.
The game crashes from time to time, wiping out all the money we have accumulated in the current run. Developers: Is it possible to save checkpoints not only of the current level but also of the money? As for the crashes, It looks like they happen when you click fast and multiple animations interfere with each other.
Fantastic. Just a few minor bothers like the Goblin Vendor text box is out of frame and no replay (farming) mechanics. Great. Simple. Fun.
We have an iPad mini. It plays great 95% of the time. But sometimes it freezes and all you can do is exit and then re-enter the game. This makes you restart the last level you were on. It's a little frustrating but not enough to spoil the game. If this was fixed we would give it a 5 star rating.
Fun game, except edges get cut off in portrait mode on our iPhone 6S plus. Also text bubbles sometimes get stuck behind other UI elements. Otherwise, super fun game.

We have an iPhone 6S Plus and when playing in portrait mode the picture is cut off at the edges of the screen. The game's still playable and it doesn't obstruct any of the game's functions but it can be distracting sometimes. The game is also playable in landscape mode but the text and buttons are too small for a successful play session. Other than that, this is an excellent game and is well worth the price. It's not "luck based" as some reviews have said. It's risk/reward based. The types of advantages you get all depend on the amount of risk you're willing to take. Great game.

This is largely a fun game, but there are crashes related to animations and changing levels which are very annoying The witch portrayal is a tad stereotypical anime girlie girl, but still worth a play.
Dungeons start to feel the same after a while, a little more variety is needed.
Despite a view visual bugs and a couple crashes occurring, this game is fun, challenging, and engaging. It's simple yet very rewarding to get through a whole dungeon.
This is a really fun game, but it keeps crashing. We've played it about 12 times and it has crashed at least 8 out of the 12. But it's fun, hence the 4 stars, but we won't buy the next one unless they fix this one first.

Amazing follow up to the original. Allows for multiple game play environment and problem solving. A little buggy when casting spells but otherwise a solid work. Forces you to vary your characters and analyze each scenario differently. Easy to become hooked. Definitely worth the money.
We finally got around to picking this game up. Definitely enjoying it. We can see how the luck can work against you, but it doesn't take away from the fun. The bugs do, however. It's crashed on us once and twice it has stopped responding to our touch – in about 30 minutes of gameplay. Luckily it saves where you left off for the most part.
