Ive been playing this game for longer than we can remember and it never crossed our mind to leave a review, but as it has been our favorite game ever since we were a child we think we should… Goodgame Empire is a very well designed empire building strategy game. The makers are very invested in making it a worthwhile experience for all players without needing to spend money. The game has also been actively updated and improved in terms of mechanics ever since the release around 2012. With all this being said, the greatest part of the game is the community. The alliance system in this game does a great job of encouraging group participation and strategy. We have met many wonderful people on this game and hope to continue playing long into our future. If you are a fan of base building strategy games and are looking for a fun way to pass your free time we HIGHLY encourage you to try out Empire.
Id love to be able to battle the strong people equally so they cant bully let the money we spend mean more look at how much money in spend well over 30k help us understand why we cant fight with these guyes.

This game is AMAZING but you have to be patient you cant give this game a week and be done its a long term game most of the reviews Ive read show people either not play long enough or just want to be mad at the game for having in game purchases. Most of the top players on the server do buy money but you can still get a really high rank F2P trust us as a low lvl player you think its ridiculous that a bakery is 650 rubies and buildings that also cost rubies but once you get to lvl 70 you can get upwards of 1,500 rubies per day and some times 3,000 rubies which means if you chose not to its your fault not the games fault for being called Pay to win the truth is you have to have time but we will say one more thing play the PC version it is 5 times better ;).
We love the game. We hate how small the font size is. We understand there is a lot going on in the game but making an option to be able to change font size would be amazing. We know Im not alone in this.
Im glad goodgame empire is still around but every time we remember this game exists we think about the other goodgames that was just as good.
We have been playing this game almost 13 years. The money we spent in this game we could probably bought a house with the cost is so much money if you want to compete to be successful, you have no family no life no wife or and no sleep this game is 24 7 job. If you can handle all that it is great game if not, dont even start playing this game because eventually you will quit after spending thousand dollar this is our two cents.

This is one of those games that doesnt false advertise or trick you into downloading it based on advertising one single aspect of the game. This game offers events that will give you the troops and items you need to actually be successful in the game. This game can be free to play and still give you a great advantage over other opponents. Overall, despite what we think, this game is designed to give you what you need to be successful and that makes it fun.
Very play to win but granted if youre paying its fun other than the steep costs to do so to anyone out there who doesnt think so… We encourage you to look again or try to rank first in any event.
We used to love this game, had a good balance between paying to improve faster and playing for free. You could enjoy the game and progress slower if you didnt want to pay or gain some advantages with little money. Now you have to pay a lot monthly just to win. You pay for multi-wave attacks that expire in 7 days that make you get more points in events and better attacks in pvp. Simply put, you cant win if you dont pay.
We started playing this game again about a month ago and its just a great game overall. You never get bored cus theres just so much to do. If you miss a event its not the end of the world and they have events every few days. Also, people in this game actually talk a lot and are nice (way too many games have teams or clans where nobody talks and its just super boring). A lot of people are saying its pay to win, but you can still compete with people who spend a lot (Im in the top 10 for our server, Im a level 24 and we havent spent anything) and you get rubies from a lot of in-game events. Doesnt really get boring, people to talk to, events every couple of days, mini-games/chance games like the wheel of fortune and the fortune teller, pve and pvp, and just so many different games to play.

Extremely fun game, more so if you get in with an active group of people. Dont be afraid to bounce around, or even reach out to the top players directly..they WILL help you. They want you to grow.makes for more targets lol. Know up front though that this game is a hobby, so be prepared to put in money as you would for any hobby.
Played game forever, played fair and spent way too much $ and then one day there was a glitch and we were charged twice for rubies as we purchased one package but they charged us for 2. Tried to contact GG support, what a joke they wouldnt refund our money so we had our credit card back charges out and they deleted our account. They said they mailed our account a message, never got it. You cant talk to anyone and you have to send messages back and forth, wait game plus super slow. Good grief they are scammers. We never heard back from them and they just deleted our account and never heard us out. They are a German company fyi which tbh if you are from another country its not easy to deal with their way of customer service, its weak by far. Dont play. Find another game.

The game is straight pay2win 5 dollars to have everything in the game kinda lame really theres no fun left in the game everyone is pretty much lvl 70 and have a endless supply of resources and gems for 1.99$ we really wish mobile games would stop this its killing the mobile gaming community.
This is the most tedious and boring game Ive r ever played.
This us absolutely a game where you have shell out a ton of real world money to win. There are events in the game where you fight specific targets and you cannot place in the top brackets without spending money to buy percentage boosters and tools with boost features. The boosters do not always work and the game will bit refund any money. There are also player vs player fights which you cannot win without ruby tools which cost money. The game takes years to get to final level 70 – 950 status so not something you will master quick. Most people get bored and bail so you end up having constant turnover in the alliance. There are alliances and a chat feature to speak to your alliance members but it is awful so most alliances use apps Line and Discord to chat instead. The game is quick to ban people as well so you will have alliance members disappear on you or if you get banned any money you dished out is obviously gone. Customer service is awful.
This company offers to pay users through sites like FreeCash, incentivized consumers. They get the traffic and ad revenue but dont pay out users in the end. Additionally, the game isnt fun. The UI is garbage, the entity boxes arent easy to press with a finger, the economy system is awful, and the progression is slow. Not worth playing for free, and you wont get your money if your play it as a reward offer.
The only way to progress is to buy rubes.

Dont get this game unless you have a lot of money to burn! We have been playing this game for over 9 years and it has turned into a pay to win game. Players who cant afford to spend a lot are getting slaughtered by the big spenders. In an effort to even the playing field Goodgame just released the update of the century their words. All it is doing is making the game much more complicated and too cumbersome to play. We imagine any new players will not play for long since it is confusing for experienced players unless they spend a lot of money to buy a high level account that is for sale. This app is nothing more than a money grab. They release an update, let you spend a few months chasing to upgrade your account and then release another update that makes all that time and money a waste. Dont play this game, its dying. 90% of servers are dead accounts that either no one plays or are locked because the player got a refund from their respective play store.
Its clear the game dont welcome new players, because right away they have to spend $$$ to compete. At this point, theyre milking money from those that have played for years.

Many reviews say that the game is a trap to make you spend money but really you just need to be good and smart about what you spend your time doing on the game. Attack on events get on a good alliance get good outposts and all will come easily. We just hit 105k might points at level 34 so dont tell us that it is pay to win, because we destroyed same guy who bought an army to attack us. Simple note to people trashing the game JUST GET GOOD.
This is a high level player game, in the beginning the game is a lot of fun and you level up fast, but levels 30-70 seem to slow down a lot after level 70 and into the legendary levels the game adds a lot more depth, the game is pay to win but rubies can be gained without real money very easily. This game is older so there are a lot of established players who are very powerful.
The ads and pop ups are too intrusive and disruptive to the game play.
So the game is just staying on the update screen for like 20mins.
We like the game and like to play on our computer but when we downloaded the app it made us start again and the. Wouldnt let us log out. If we delete it is redownloads without letting us sign in to our original game. So the app is basically useless to us.

This game used to be fun. You could get by as a f2p player. Now its completely pay to win and pay to play. They changed it so you cant participate in events as a lower level player. If you want to be competitive at a higher level you have to buy tools if you want a chance at good rewards. Servers are run by people who spend about a 200$ a week. If you want to participate in events in other realms you need to spend $. Even if you want to participate in regular events you have to pay to reach the next level or spend about a month to reach the next tier each time. Not a great support team. Game is a complete cash grab now.
Ive played the game for years, and its been clear that the game has too many pay to win elements present.
Took ab a month break from this game Bc a hurricane ravaged our home and left us with no service and no wifi. Came back after some repairs were done to our home only to realize our account of 2 years that we had put money into had been DELETED. Seriously dont even waste your time.
Este juego era tan bonito y competitivo, pero cada vez se pone horrible, cada vez ms recompensas son ms difcil obtener, cada vez el juego se convierte en un juego que est a favor de quienes utilizar dinero para jugar. Al final este juego terminar quedando con los mismos jugadores que siempre han usado dinero. Tengo 7 aos jugando aqu, pero este ltimo ao, se ha convertido en un asco de juego, que ya he pensado dejarlo e invertir el tiempo que aqu se gasta, en algo que realmente de un beneficio a nosotros como persona, aqu matamos el tiempo por horas, y los creadores del juego a ellos no les importa eso, sino solamente quien trae dinero. Aparte desde hace unos tres meses atrs, la cantidad de ventanas que se abre para ofrecerte que compres rubes, es un acoso, uno ni jugar puede, porque la cantidad de ventana no lo permite. Recomiendo no descargar este juego.
It is a lot of fun, but realistically you need to spend real money on the game. When if first was released, and for about 3 years it was feasible to play without spending money. Good Games has made it impossible to gain any of the needed awards or materials needed to build and upgrade.
GG are a bunch of greedy people that will screw anyone over for 10 dollars! They done it to us and our account is still suspended.
