Thoroughly enjoying the game! An interesting and well planned out story line, more than acceptable graphics, seamless gameplay, lots of clues to find with a pleasing amount of hidden object scenes. Its well crafted and has a great amount of gameplay. Ive owned dozens of HO, Mystery etc. Type games and this is definitely one of the best ones Ive played. Its just a very good game overall and anyone who enjoys these types of games will have lots of fun with it, theres also several more additional games in the Enigmatis series which Ive also installed and am looking forward to playing when we finish the first installment.

We love love love it! And strongly suggest you guys to play it on iPad so you can enjoy the full screen. It is an old fashioned mysterious game and we love it. We remember when we were little, our family had our first iPad and we play it together with our mom. Now we need to take a long trip on the plane, so we downloaded it back. It reminds us such a beautiful memory of the old times that we are still a little girl and would like to spend a whole afternoon to play it with our mom.
This game will NEVER get old! Its one of our favorites and always comes through for us when Im bored and in the mood for a spooky mystery.
Great graphics and storyline! Game plays great on a touch screen. Puzzles are challenging without driving you crazy. We will definitely be interested in purchasing more of these games from Artifex Mundi.

Ive really enjoyed this game. The storyline is intense, the puzzles challenging. Our only complaint is that there is no fast travel on the map, which makes for a lot of trudging around from place to place. However, this oversight was corrected in the sequels.
We enjoyed the storyline. We did love the art. The hidden puzzles werent hard, but not super easy. The artwork was used well, vs the typical ones where things are obvious and you dont even need to look at the list. This one was well done and not like that. The only complaint we have regarding the hidden object puzzles is that the image didnt change much so it became too easy by the end as we had seen the same puzzle multiple times. The other thing we are unsure how we feel about, honestly, is the back and forth. We saw no way to fast travel, which was nice at first but it is a LOT of tapping about. What they did best was MAGNIFICENT. They made things make sense. A tire needs to have the rusted lugs loosened with a bit of lubricant and a tire iron. Then a jack with a jack handle attached. There were a few places where cutting objects werent best used, but not too bad. Mostly common sense prevailed. The puzzles didnt always feel like they made sense until you got through it. The instructions felt poor. The language barrier was relevant at times, but overall, very good. Not every hidden object was simply as it seemed, and we LIKED that very much. Made you think for a second. Not two, but still better than almost all of these types. Off to play the next in the series. Wish us luck.
This is a good game, pretty short though, it will maybe last one evening. So for how short it is its kind of expensive. Also found a few bugs. For example in one of the puzzles there was an ear of corn and some wheat that were labeled backwards. There was a puzzle box that you had to input a date from a picture. Before you can even put the date in the box opens, still at all 0s. Not a big deal because we knew what date they were asking for.
Ive had decent luck with Artifex Mundi HO/adventure games however, this one is just not holding our interest. Im giving it the benefit of the doubt, since its older, that the things that are annoying us will be improved in 2 & 3. Our true rating is 3.5. There is a map that shows where you have actions available – great! But, no ability to teleport – really frustrating to have to tap through 6-7 locations to do one thing before tapping through those same 6-7 locations to get back to where you were & finish a task. Lots of HO, very few mini-games/puzzles – great for some, not our preference. Mislabeling of HO list..in the barn you are supposed to find ear of corn after countless taps to pick it up we give up and use the hint – only to discover it wanted us to pick up the wheat. Also, couldnt find the bicycle seat. After seeing the issue with the ear of corn we decide to try the saddle, just for SnGs….imagine our surprise when it worked. Not the worst game Ive played, but definitely not in the top 50%.
The only thing that bothers us is the amount of hidden object scenes, and you do the scenes over and over again sometimes. Other than that, its a very good game.
We played the demo and it crashed at the scene where the guy was saying he needed help. We tried again and again, but crashed every time. We downloaded and PAID thinking, hmm.. Maybe its the end of the demo. Played until the guy needed help again, and same thing, it crashed. Im so annoyed. We loved Enigmatis 2, and this game seemed just as good. Please fix this bug. We never have problems with games crashing. This is a first and Ive played literally hundreds of them.
In the app store it says that this game support 4 languages, but we don't see any language changing option in the game.
We enjoyed the game and we have already purchased the series so we will play all 3 and compare. Some challenging mini games. The way the game is set up you find yourself going towards other puzzles when the game wants you to go to a different one. A LOT of time is spent just traveling back and forth to the same locations to get 1 single item needed to move forward in the game. Redundant moves that many times actually becomes frustrating and can lose customers because of lack of ideas to keep players active and having fun.Graphics were not the best Ive seen nor were they the worst.
This game is full of frustrations. Making a game longer by making a player make 20 trips back and forth for no reason.
We paid for the full version so we could get hints, but after playing a few times, the hints button stopped working. It lights up to full, but doesnt respond. We can get one hint, then we have to close the game, and it reverts back one step, then nothing. We didnt read anywhere that you only gets hints a couple of times then you never get hints again. We could have had the no hints version for free, but thought we might need them, so we paid. Dont pay, dont download, cause you get nothing.
Halfway through the game the hints stopped working. Would love to rate better but on top of this there is so much traveling its annoying. Wish the connections were closer and some are so subtle that without hints there would be hours of wandering to figure out.
Awkward with no sense of what to do. Nothing redeemable.
