Enigmo is a 3D puzzle game where you direct animated streams of flowing liquid so that the droplets get to their destination. Water, Oil, and Lava fall from Droppers and bounce around the walls of the puzzle. You move and rotate various types of bumpers, sliders, accelerators, and sponges in order to divert the flow of the falling droplets. The faster you complete each of the 50 levels, the more bonus points you receive.

The physics in Enigmo are truly amazing to watch! This is one of the most unique puzzle games ever created.

In addition to the 50 levels that come with the game, you can also download many more levels for free! As of version 1.1, you can download levels created by other users or by yourself with the Mac or PC version of Enigmo which has a built-in level editor. You may submit your levels to us and we’ll include them in the public list if we like them enough.

Enigmo Reviews

This is the oldest surviving App (Game) on the App Store that wasnt removed during the Apple Purge. Luckily! Because this Game is amazing it can get very tricky but thats also what makes it so good. The puzzles are well designed and we like the addition of new features over time. 10/10 Thanks Pangea for creating this Masterpiece!

Works Flawlessly on iPhones and M1 macs.

Cant wait to play this on iPhone 12 pro max.

We’ve had this app for a very long time. We bring it out every year or so and start over. We wish, though, that Pangea would update it for iOS 13 and dark mode. The tools are very hard to read in dark mode.

Update 2017: Thanks to the developer for keeping this app updated. We originally reviewed this app 9 years ago!!! Good job.

We paid $9.99 for this in 2007.

The game itself is amazing. We have had this game since owning the original gen 1 iPhone and through the years we always dust it off to play through the levels again. However, while functional on the iPhone X with the most recent software the app has developed a few quirks that we dont remember it having on past devices. The smaller of the two is the touch mechanics are tad bit too sensitive. Rotation of items being one them, objects always seem to be playing catch up with your finger and when you think youve gotten it right youve actually overshot your target. Also, in rotation of an item its very easy to unselect the item while trying to rotate it. Scrolling through game space can be a little dangerous to cause you can easily offset other items on the playing field if you do not watch were you place your fingers. This may just something that adds to the challenge which is why it isnt a huge issue for us. The big thing that kills the rating that we are giving this app is the mildly frequent crashing that occurs mainly through level transitions, has happened several times during key save moments and corrupted our saved game. We then have to delete the data because going back into it always crashes the app there after. If anything, we can live with the slight touch issues just resolve the crashing and we will have no complaints about this game.

Glad to see that this is now up to date for the iPhone X. However, the music is ATROCIOUS. Luckily it can be turned off but lord have mercy that is terrible. This game would do much better with some ambient noise or some sort of soothing background music but this peppy basic Apple loop junk and the weird Asian scrub music isnt fitting and is a disgrace.

This was the first iPhone game our dad ever got. We remember playing it as a 3 year old. Great memories. Replaying it… Again.

Best puzzle game EVER!!! Needs more levels but still awesome!! We wish we could give it more stars!!! We have finished the game. And we are seriously BEGGING for more levels!?!? We just realized that you can hit download And there is a ton of levels created by other players with the pc enigmo!! We wrote the above review years ago……. We’re so glad we discovered this app then, this still holds up as the best app (game) for iPod /iPad to the person or persons who created this you are awesome.

People are flooded with apps nowadays. We’re lucky enough to have been able to experience this in 2008 when apps were a new thing. This game was a pioneer. Should be in the app hall of fame.

We remember playing Enigmo on an old Power-PC Mac about 10 years ago, and this is bringing back lots of memories! The only issues we see are that it’s missing the distinctive soundtrack the Mac version had, and the "double tap to return to inventory" thing can sometimes trigger if we switch between moving and turning a piece. All in all, though, it’s still the great game we remember.

We this game, and we pretty sure that this game was from our earlier childhood. But can you possibly (to the devs) make it compatible with iOS 10?

Just as we remember it. Solid with no noticeable bugs, but the music is gone. We remember loving the music from the original and it isn’t here.

Fun game, not enough content for the $2 you pay for it.

The gameplay mechanics are good, however please add iCloud support for saving progress between devices. – Gameplay graphics and UX are becoming very outdated. They need to be refreshed to take advantage of modern hardware/iOS capabilities. – GameCenter function is buggy. The app freezes after returning from GameCenter achievements or Leaderboards.

Glad to see you guys keep this game updated because its a classic.

Still waiting for an update to fix the game so it can be played with iOS 7…

Broke the game on our Iphone 5s, iOS 7. Oh well.

The original physics based puzzler is multiplayer, very cool. Good game got better, very fun.

Our first iPhone game back in 2008 and never forgotten 5 years later! Awesome!

You know it’s a great game if we are coming back for more 5 years later.

Highly addictive, challenging gameplay.

Love the game but wish it was iPad supported.

Makes us very disappointed that we’re stuck on level 46 because of a glitch. The water droplets won’t on any of the trampolines or ramps on one area of the level. We don’t understand why:( so, we can’t advance :( we’ve shut down our ap and restarted the game many times… But no help :( anyone know what to do? Can the makers of this game please fix this problem?! So frustrating!

Can you add the option to play it with a sideways view because the view up and down is really hard to view a bunch of things so we’re continually zooming in and out trying to move a few things! Please fix this!!!!!!!

It would be a great idea for the next update to add a feature where you can control the rate of flow. It will help players test the arrangement of their items.

It’s a great game but yeah the 50 levels took us about three hours… We also think there should be an update with more levels. Or free level packs since we already payed three bucks for the app.

It is a good game but some levels seem imposible but they airnt.

We were hesitant to purchase because of the mixed reviews. But we figured, .99 we can afford to lose. This is a very cool game that simply requires patience and concentration. When you ignore the timer, it takes the pressure off. We liked it so much (I got through the first couple levels right away) that we went and purchased Enigmo 2, which is just as cool.

Got it when it was free! That same day they made it cost 99 cents. Great game and is worth something like 2.99! Awesome game. Will be going for Enigmo 2 next! Great game! Get it before they start charging more! And really look into the sequel (Enigmo 2) Have Fun!!! And enjoy the new game!

What an imaginitively-designed game! We got this on sale, not really knowing what we were getting, and WOW am we impressed! We never would’ve thought that putting waterdrops into jugs would be so challenging, engaging, and creative. This app is worth the price!

Our first iPhone purchase. Still love it.

Our iPhone is about 4 days old and after hours upon hours of research on what kinds of apps I’d like to try, we anxiously made a decision on our first game. Enigmo turned out to be everything all the best reviews have said about it: beautiful graphics, ceative, challenging, and completely engrossing. No crashes yet, so we’re definitely not regretting it! BTW we also got the Koi Pond and really like that too (much simpler entertainment, mind you, but beautiful still).

Game was fun, hope they make more like this.

Whether this game is $1 or $3, it’s worth every penny. Enigmo is attractive from both the physical and gamer’s standpoint. It offers an overall simple, yet addictingly fun, concept and has great replayability with additional downloadable levels. As to those that leave the reviews of having trouble playing, we’re still confused as this is an extremely easy concept – perhaps only basic knowledge of gravity is needed. This was one of our first purchases around the time the App Store first started and it’s still one of the best on our iPod.

This game was really fun but it isn’t worth the price. For only 50 levels it shouldn’t be $3. We hope you make another game.

We keep reading within the app itself that there are more levels designed by Pangea available in either updates or for purchase, but we cannot find an actual link that proves this statement to be true. We found it to be a great game, very challenging. But we solved the initial 50 levels 6 months ago. And the only downloadable links for more levels are designed by others that come with a warning indicating most are not winnable. It’s like the software company designed and sold the app with the intent of future improvements…… Then turned their backs and walked away. We can’t even recall a single update of any kind and we’ve had the app for well over a year. How bout some new levels Pangea?!

Great game if u can just make it so u can listen to music while playing it.

We love this game we play it on our phone but it won’t open on our iPad. It crashes immediately at the start screen. FIX THIS.

The app is really fun and it gets you pretty addicted but it takes up a lot of battery. If your ipod is fully charged you will only get less than an hour before it dies. Also, there are a few graphics problems. Like sometimes the water will fall right through the objects. But the app is still good. They shouldnt be selling it for $2.99 it is only worth 99¢.

Ok, the game is not that bad, it makes you think more, but really a flowing water is better than a noisy drops, also, the zoom feature needs improvement, it should be automatic.

We get the idea, but getting a result that makes us want to keep playing just never happened. And every time we have something placed ‘just so’, the clumsy zoom function ultimately is our demise since we always accidently move it out of place. And how about a small tutorial? Unfortunately this is one of the worst apps on our phone, which is a shame because the idea is cool.

Dragging small puzzle elements on a small screen is frustrating, you just waste that much time trying to catch an element with your finger. Graphics is poor, it doesn’t benefit from 3D in any way. Settings page is horrible and contains only one option.
