Community Insight:
We have been looking for a game to pick up at any time. A game that we dont have to pay attention to the story, etc. This game is wonderful! We love puzzle games. This one is truly unique. It combines a Rubiks cube with game like Hitman Go. Perfect.
The aesthetics are beautiful, its lighthearted but yet challenging while at the same time is coming in not frustrating. Plus, we really think this might help some of us master a rubik cube one day lol.
We love both the game itself and the visuals, which are in the neighborhood of Monument Valleys minimalism without feeling like a wannabe. It grows progressively more puzzling as unexpected twists in gameplay mechanics limit or altogether cancel out earlier, easier ways to kill the opponents. This game makes us wrack our brain and look for patterns and think several moves ahead. Still not all the way through it. And when (if) we get to the end, a do-over awaits because the game judges and awards you if you can complete a given level in fewer moves and also tells you the fewest number of possible moves for each level. Oh and theres a brain-bogglingly cool AR mode, in which you walk around the game instead of turning the game on the screen when your guy has been rotated to the opposite side. Just bonkers. We love it. Id give it 6 stars if we could. Also, there is a sequel called Euclidian Skies. Just bought it today. We hope it measures up to the very high standard the developers have set for themselves here. Judging by the preponderance of 5 star reviews, we suspect it does.
Having just finished this game we had to write a positive review. One gets a lot of puzzle bang for the buck and the entertaining value is very high. We loved every minute of play and just purchased Euclidean Sky. Excellent.
We love this game! Im so sad its over. We were hesitant because Im not into medieval battle type games but thats not what this game is about at all. It is difficult but so entertaining and amazing graphics!! We highly recommend if you are a puzzle fiend like us. We look forward to playing more games by these developers. Amazing job guys.
IPad Air v1, 128Gb, os v12.4.8 Ive done about a dozen puzzles. It has crashed three times when we execute the final move capture move.
Besides the boss levels, this is a very clever, challenging, and fun game. But we really dont like the boss levels. In the rest of the game, you can move different parts of the cube in any way you want as many times as you want. In the boss levels, though, the only way to move parts of the cube is by moving the character, and there is no way of telling which way its going to move. At first we told ourselves, no, its not actually random, there must be a pattern we havent figured out. But then we started a boss level by moving the character to a specific square, and part of the cube rotated to the left. We restarted the same level, started the exact same way, and part of the cube rotated downwards. This is very frustrating because you have to rely more on luck than skill during these levels.
This game is, well, not very interesting. There isnt anything that really makes you think wow this is a great game! Or man this game is cool. It is just, a game. Its not very challenging, its bland, and kind of boring. We would not recommend this game to anyone who has a short attention span. Gets 3 stars from us because at least there was some effort put into this game.
Fun until augmented reality section. Less time figuring out the puzzle and more time figuring out the controls. Frustrating. Stopped playing.
Fun game but it crashes and gets hung up a lot. We cant finish the game.
It seems like a great game… Until it stopped working for us. Glitchy.
Level 16 is terrible. Its very hard to figure out how the layer rotates. Im giving up.
We bought Euclidean Lands several months ago, played a few levels, then had something come up. We just downloaded again (now that we all have a bit of time) but cant reset. We dont want to start from level 4! We dont understand the mindset that thinks one play is all should be allowed, and that will encourage us to buy the new versions of game.
How do you start level 1? There's nothing that even hints at how to get into the game except for the hands holding the iPad, which is in no way instructional. Any game where our kid asks for a YouTube video just to start playing is not worth the effort.
We thought this was another game like Euclidean Sky. It has Euclidean in the name and the little preview showed a geometric shape that you maneuver a character through. Nope the shapes are about as complex as a rubriks cube but the games thing is battles. We dont want battles. We bought the game to chill out and enjoy maneuvering through perspective based puzzles not f@$-king battle.
We got done a bunch of levels and then on the next it went to a screen where the image was tilting the phone – as if instructing one how to play with a gyro function. But it wont get off that screen and nothing we do stops it. There is no settings icon that we can find – so we have abandoned the game entirely.
Doesnt have longevity to it. Boring quick.
It was great until level XXIV. There was no introduction to how this mechanic works and it feels largely random. There is no undo button so one false move you could be forced to start over from scratch. Id like our money back.
Opened by mistake and got a $5.00 charge. Be aware of fees associated with this app.
Boring. Monotonous. Waste of money Buy The Room series of games and enjoy puzzles AND a great story.
Interesting puzzle game, fun to play, beautiful graphics and design, but crashes frequently. Crashes on level 24 every time, so thats as far as Ive been able to play. Five stars for the game, minus three because half the game is unplayable due to some bug.
We absolutely love this game. Its beautiful, fun to play, and really makes you think. Definitely recommend! One slight problem is that we believe our game has a glitch. Im stuck at level 24 because the structure only rotates in the left direction no matter what we do. We finally gave up and watched the YouTube video of the solved game and theirs is completely different. They have more range of motion whereas Im completely stuck and theres absolutely no way of solving it given the motion available to us. Help.
We have an iPhone 7. We've tried a lot of graphically intense games. None of them have crashed. This game crashes multiple times every day we play. And that days something because we're still trying to play it every day! It's great. Just stop the constant crashing please.
Good game but folks are right this game consistently crashes. We thought after a year it would be fixed but nope.
Version 2.1.3 causes the game to crash 50% of the time, but only (amazingly) during the last move of certain levels. It's very frustrating. Please fix.
Love the game but sick of getting to the winning move and having the game freeze and crash.
Love the game but it is randomly closing and making us start over. It is so irritating we have stopped playing. If this gets fixed, we will be glad to rate it a five.
Cannot progress past level 12. Game crashes every time we try to move.
No response from the developer. Deleted game.
We actually enjoyed the game enough to give it a 5 plus. A little quirky using an iPhone, so our little guy didnt always end up where we wanted. We did navigate the game without one hint, walk-through or like, some parts were easy some not so. On the not so we would usually give it a rest, then tried again another day with better results. One problem was being locked into one perspective on moves possible when you need to approach the puzzle a little differently. Good example of that is the aligned bridge level. If youre good at 3-D space Id give the game a try. We have an iPhone seven and had no problems with it although it did eat through our battery life a little quicker than normal.
We hope they fix this bug because we dont Ive loved a game as much as this one. Chapter 11 it started bugging out. If you get two horses in one shot ( we dont want to give it away how ) it stalls and wont let you swipe at all. The game is essentially frozen. Otherwise awesome game! Please fix bug soon because without that trick its much harder. It has to do with the angle of horses for anyone wanting a hint. Its a challenging game and so much fun. Relaxing too with the visuals and music which is stunning.
If you like Monument Valley youll love this game.
Pinhead and crew judge the totality of the box with their dark S&M gear, bearing bmx chains hard to the bone gnash. But Euclidianlands stands as a testament of arguability over struggle. That is to be dominated by Crastus, who is a celebrity. She enjoys the box. We enjoy the box. This is messing with the box territory. Dominate.
Simply awesome… Its simple but challenging.
We wish this app had more puzzles. Also wish we could clear our completion status and start fresh; we know we can replay levels but we liked the automatic progression before we finished all levels with three flags.
We love these games. They are entertaining and relaxing at the same time. Also do beautiful to look at.
It is such an interesting game that is hard but fun and mind tricking.
That is what we are looking for in a game. Not a frustrating challenge, not another evening job, just successful and fun.
If monument valley had a baby with fire emblem, it would look like this.
Keep crushing just when you figure out how to get the upper hand. Fun puzzle app tho – wish it worked.
Fun to play. Easy controls. Looks cool.
We kinda like this game. A lot like Monument Valley or a Rubics cube. We just cant find where to turn on the AR mode no matter where we look, which is the complete reason we bought this game for the full four dollars.
We like the game, puzzles are decent, most are too easy. Extremely buggy, continuous crashes. Towards the later levels when the puzzles get more intricate and dense Im finding it difficult to control the character because the hit boxes are so small on our iPhone screen, very frustrating when youre at the end of a puzzle and youre forced to start over. Id probably have given it 4 s if we had been playing it on an iPad.
Im new to gaming apps, and would appreciate an in-app help or clue prize that can be used once a week. Not asking for answers, but Im also not playing the game because Ive been stuck on the same level for a few days. Im starting to think its a waste of money.
About 10 plays into the game, the game freezes a lot. Mostly it seems when you take out two opponents at once. Just downloaded it this week. Very annoyed.
This game has gone from almost un-winnable to unplayable. The AR element superimposes the game on whatever your camera is aimed at. Why? Its distracting and completely pointless. Im going to try to revoke camera access from the game and see if its more challenging instead of more frustrating. If not it will be deleted very soon. – we turned off camera access and the game wont start. The AP addition is worthless; we dont need to see the game superimposed over our coffee table. Deleted.
Trying to play on our iPhone X and the experience is broken.
The AR mode BARELY works. If we could refund this, we would.
The game crashes way too often on ipad air 2.
We regret purchasing. The graphics look great in the screenshots, but arent nice in reality. Its too expensive to seem so unfinished.
