This game is the best by easy tech. Not over complicated and yet very enjoyable.
We made a mistake in our review. Turns out upgrading your buildings requires medals from time to time. 5 stars then.
Doing great new update is good but with Achilles we got a problem. We love the fact you added Achilles but we think he should not have been an infantry class unit because when he is looked at you can see he is (because of his chariot) inside the Hoplite or whatever age he is at. Plus you could of taken this chance to give the chariot a general to have for the player to own and we think with the chariot that would be really cool. Another thing is what if a player cant or is unable to get the general in the limited time shop then they would be upset because they couldnt get the general, in that case you should permanently add any generals now or in the future in the game even if it is in the general part of the shop or in the tavern or somewhere else so everyone can get them so people dont get beaten by someone who has a general they might never get. Please take this advice to mind and maybe consider changing it.
We have played Easy tech games for a long time. We have enjoyed this game just as much from the beginning to now and with the new updates and levels there is more to learn and have to have more luck to complete it again. Definitely top 5 mobile game for us. Great on every play through.
This is a great game to play. Theres a lot of content. We’ve supported by getting Alexander. Great character. We enjoy playing historical games. Our one suggestion is to allow up to two artifacts on a hero.
We love this game. It is one of the bets and most addicting games that we have on our phone. However this recent update has wiped clean a year of hard work. Specifically it caused us to lose all our campaign progress, all our generals, all our resources and our entire empire. So please to all of yall updating it, dont or else the same will happen to you. For us thoigh, Im throwing in the towel for this game so goodbye forever.
We love the art style. We think it is the best in the series. We love the gameplay and the campaign is good. We think the in the conquest mode you should get more generals based on player level.
This game has great fighting mechanic, different nations with different units, princesses who can make your units cheaper, and generals who can wipe the field if played correctly. We think the game is great but we dont really think the empire or legend mode falls into the strategy category. Thinks like battles or the ruins dont allow you to take control of the units yourself so at this point its just like watching someone play a video game rather than playing it yourself.

We’ve written multiple times to the developer about a technical glitch with NO response. As tempted as we are to spend money on this game, their unresponsiveness tells us that its a bad idea!
Good strategy game, need to think before you just go running into a battle. Be sure to allocate the resources wisely. Upgrade your generals to accentuate their strengths, not just randomly.
Thats some dedication. A full freemium game thats still getting updates after so many years!
Its a good game, only complaint is the Towers. Those crossbows are way too OP. Even the weakest tower can destroy an entire army on its own. Please nerf the towers its so frustrating invading an area with 6 armies and losing all of them before you even reach the enemy.
We didnt expect to play this game as much as we have, but because we started playing years ago we’ve gotten very into it and we have a great time with it.
Hi so the game is really good but couple things we’ve noticed. We like the generals although some generals like Caesar Or Charlemagne are good but expensivvve. Btw cheapies Like Spartacus or Leonidas have TERRIBLE defense. The first campaign is really easy and fun but once Go into age 2 it gets super hard. Sorry easy tech But unless u pay money then levels like that Mongolia Invasion r to hard. Im stuck on the first Joan of Arc level. Conquest r easy we won first conquest as Uk. But hard mode is super haaarrrdd. Empire is good although we cant capture Rostov on don. Bottom line fun but hard.
Well, when we first played this game we came down very hard on it with our review and we actually still agree with everything we said even if for some reason when we see our review its apperntly written by classified1034. After playing all of your games after we quit this one it came apperent this is actually your best one yet. The cartoon style is what really makes it seem inviting. You can have all the fancy realistic graphic effects in the world but it makes it look like youd have to spend three days straight learning the controls. This games wuality has not changed but im making it two stars instead of 1 because of the art style. Id also like to point it when people dislike a game in a sense theres different types of not liking it and we will say them, disapointment its like when cyberpunk released and had 20 percent of what it said it would have theres mad if they were scammed somehow. Theres being mad at artifical dificulty. Like this game, however in a game like dark souls thats not artificial thats just hard artificial is how the enemies in this magicially have more money and magiclly go to the next age faster. Then theres just wanting to say do better, it isnt subjectivee it isnt a specific part its just this was pretty bad and you should do better in your defense its not that last one swhich is the worst one to be here but instead of making a fancy new arena mode make a better game.
We love this game, but we want to see a hard mode. We would like to see this as an alternate world with the same campaigns (like Rise of Rome) With new scenarios (like a special scenario after Threats of the Colonists, called Sunset Invasions which would involve invading Spain) as well as changing others (like making the final crusade scenario an invasion of Mecca or something), to add some alternate history aspects. A hard mode of the Conquest mode would also be interesting, adding in more cities that were only in Empire mode, and making nations more aggressive. We would love to see stuff like this, as well as new gear to go with it. Please see this and add these things.
If you want a great different easy tech game this is it. You can get to the best stuff if you grind and it isnt extremely hard. Our criticism is in the way you cant sell some things like the extra items overall though it great.
We love the game and we love the idea behind it. Its just too hard to beat. 1: medals are the most necessary item in the game if you want to win. You just cant get enough medals to buy good generals and weapons. Caesar is 2900 medals while you only get about 80 per campaign level, 10 for defeating a rebellion in empire mode (which we get), and 50-100 from missions. Campaigns arent worth 80 medals, more like 100-120 each because of the toughness of them. And some missions cause you to lose medals to get a lower amount back. Then you also have to waste all your other medals to upgrade generals and get them weapons in order to defeat said campaign 2: allies are just dumb. In one of the Medieval Age campaign levels with Wallace we think, you dont get any source of income and your ally wont give you one, forcing you to fight through countless troops and generals to get to a income giving building. And the allies dont even protect the target when the target is under attack. 3: some of the levels are just ridiculous. Joan of Arc level one has two 5000+ hp archers that deal 1k damage. Completely destroys Alexander, Robin Hood, and everyone else we have 4: sometimes our generals wont counter attack even with no effects on them, causing them to lose tons of health. 5: the movement is inconsistent. Our Huo Qubing was surrounded by our generals with Hannibal in front protecting Alexander from calvary. There was a space beside Hannibal that would protect Alexander from another calvary. Huo couldnt go there, even though he has gone further than that before. There was nothing on the spot where we wanted to move.
This game sticks out and its unique to all easy tech games.
The campaign started great until Medieval Age Joan of Arc 1. Apparently, the British (ENGLISH NOT BRITISH) Longbow-man Generals are given Lucky Crowns, Armor, and a Flintlock, which makes them WAY too OP. Fix this please we want to pass these campaigns.

Very different from their usual game types but definitely a welcome one. The game gives you plenty of free gear and generals so that you dont even need to spend any money. The campaigns are pretty long and mythology is also pretty fun. Only complaint would be the conquest which seems kinda pointless and boring once you reach Industrial Age.
The goal of some games is to protect a general. That general suicide charges into every battle no matter there health. This makes it impossible to win any of those matches.
This game isnt the worst but also isnt the best, in empire mode it can be difficult to win certain battles to level up if its a battle where the ai controls your generals and plays it so badly. A fight that we could win no problem suddenly becomes a roadblock because the ai makes stupid moves and just gets our generals killed and can be pretty frustrating.
We love this game first off second we just noticed a typo so we wanted to let you guys know in the empire in the east campaign second misson one memtioning genghis khan being injured well it say hope (out)soldiers with be inspired we believe you meant our well again amazing game!!!
First we hate that you have to unlock the map in conquest cause once you reach medieval times its hard as heck! Also taking over territory in conquest is hard we think that once you destroy a wall it should be gone for at least 3 or 2 rounds so your sacrifice is worth it. Next is the troops how in the first game there weak and there are only like max 2 compared to European war and your other games this is a disgrace and one of the only reasons Im giving this a 2 star is the map in conquest and weapons 1. Its a full map of the world witch we love a lot 2. We like how some places dont have certain things but other then that go back to European war 4.
Fun game, very enjoyable, glad that the devs are still updating the game after so many years, will recommend, the game runs smoothly and is definitely hours of fun! Our one complaint is the counterintuitive AI and it seems like with most recent update it became a bit more dumber than it was. It seems like (especially with the newest update) the AI prioritizes buildings over movement which is a double edged sword (I found it was extremely helpful in conquest mode AFTER moving the troops to encircle the objective point) but if you auto battle a city the AI automatically decides to destroy the entire wall before moving to the objectives (and when you only have 20 rounds to accomplish that, it is extremely frustrating watching the AI doing that.) Also in the level Legend of Robin Hood where you are set in a city with walls all around you with over 10000 hp the AI targets a single part of the wall and does move a single space (this wasnt the case before the update) With that aside we still enjoy playing it and will still be playing it regardless if you patch these issues or not, and we cant wait to beat the Nordic trials!!!!
Why do you not allow us to do missions?! Why do we have to watch the AI do them?! The AI doesnt even do well either. It throws its archers at infantry and its infantry at cavalry! It moves archers to the front line.
We’ve been playing the game for a little while now we loved it and it was our favorite mobile game we made it to the discovery age and we went to go play and our game had restarted from the tutorial and we lost our generals that we have payed for. We finished the tutorial and went to go restore our purchases but even though we’ve restarted our phone multiple times and disconnected and reconnected from our wifi our generals wont be restored because Im not connected to wifi. We’ve also seen other players have this same issue.
We love EasyTech, and we spent $15 on generals and other stuff in this game. But the main problems we had were, literature was EXTREMELY hard to get without buying it. But since you can buy it, idc that much. Experience, the XP needed to go onto the next level was a bit much, but not too excessive, and we cruised through everything with ease until Joan of Arc level 1. We have some of the best generals money can literally buy, and we cant beat it. We wont spent $50-60 on this game to pass that level, but thats what it looks like needs to be done. Love the idea of this game, but things need to be adjusted. Not that anything we say matters, EasyTech has just turned into a profit driven monster that ignores EVERYONEs suggestions.
We have played this game for a while an it was one of our favorite games. However, we just lost all progress in our game. When we load the game it takes us to the tutorial and we have to start level one of the campaign. Please help us restore our progress.
We love all Easy Tech Titles thoroughly and this is one of our favorites. The ability to bring generals through different eras is spectacular and we love the concept. The difficulty does get ridiculous (Im in the Discovery Age), but the game is fun nonetheless. Thank you Easy tech for adding support for the latest IOS devices. We were pleasantly surprised to see the full screen be used.
We have been playing this game and spent over $50 on it. It did not take us long to realize that you have to spend a lot more if you want to be good. For example 3500 medals cost $20. To buy just one paladin armor or weapon you have to spend over 4000 medals! We purchased all the generals available but this is still not enough. We consider the game to be very difficult. We see some people online that used cheats to play but Im not interested in things like that. We want a game that is a fair price. Do you consider that a game is worth more than $50? Why does this game not have a cap on spending??? Because of your greed, the game does not deserve more than 1 star. 1 star is too much!
This is absolutely worth the money, we love almost everything about it. We love the diplomacy. We do miss the ew4 napoleons war conquest. It felt more in depth. And in Ew4 we were given the generals the country we selected had, like France had napoleon and etc. So in ew5 if we play as Persia or the U.S., then we should get Xerxes and Washington. Also when they die in conquest mode, let us get them in the tavern again for maybe 50 more silver in the conquest tavern. It seems the A.I. Can do it every time their general is defeated. And if you’re allies with a country, you shouldn’t have to conquer them to beat the conquest. Like ew4, allies are allies and enemies are enemies. Though if wanted to, you could conquer them like ew4. And please fix the A.I. It’s frustratingly annoying. We should not lose a invasion cause the A.I. Made wrong moves. Maybe instead of having to wait 8hrs to bribe generals like Barbarossa, Bismarck and Saladin, we could build the city and then purchase the generals with the total amount of gifts needed. E.g. If Saladin costs 80 diamonds, 40 paintings, or 30 perfume, we could just save up for that amount and then purchase them all at once. Same for the princesses. We would spend so much more time playing this game if that was optional. Please consider this. Perhaps update so its compatible with iPhone X!
This is one of the best mobile strategy games we have played and we encourage easy tech to keep updating this game.
This game is worth the 99 cents the generals are great you don’t have to buy things to be good and it’s still challenging. We hope they keep have more games like this soon.
We’ve been playing this game near the day it came out and we have been playing it since it’s just so much fun you can finally declare war on anyone but the only thing we don’t like is that you can’t disband troops on global conquest and we can’t wait for your next game we hope it will be world conqueror 4 and will be like hearts of iron 4 because it’s a good strategy game and it would be nice to see a game like that coming from you and these games are some of the best strategy games we’ve seen on the AppStore in a long time.
Overall we love this game we’ve played for hours at a time, but you could make a few tweaks such as, 1. Redemption codes/ On other devices there is a redeem code option in the store but not on iOS please fix that 2. Literature/ it is so hard to get and when you do get it it is always 1 or 2 at a time and you need so much of it, please make it more common and easier to get.

Great game love to play it but when your troops are not counterattacking 80% of the time your strategy gets really thrown off especially if you have a low income.
Awesome game. We love the depth and challenges. We are not a big fan of the expensive micro transactions. Also, the Literature needed to progress to the next age is ungodly high. Please cut that in half.
