A Glimpse into Exiled Kingdoms RPG

Exiled Kingdoms is a single player Action-RPG that allows you to roam freely through a unique world. It is an isometric game, inspired by some of the best role-playing games from the past decades; it brings back the old spirit of the classics in many ways: a challenging environment, choices with consequences, and a solid game system, with different paths to develop your character.

Explore the world: no one will point you to the best hidden secrets. Talk to hundreds of different characters, each with unique dialogues, and solve dozens of quests. Customize your character with dozens of skills and hundreds of different items. Overcome all kind of monsters and antagonists, choosing carefully the weapons or powers for each encounter. And return to the classical dungeon crawl, with traps and secret doors, and death awaiting the unwary adventurer behind every corner.

Free version: allows to play as a Warrior or a Rogue. It includes 30 areas, 29 completable quests and many hours of gameplay, with a level cap adequate to the areas available.

Full version: requires a single in-app purchase, which unlocks everything, forever. No other activations are needed. Includes 135 areas, 90 quests (plus 200+ generated quests), hundreds of dialogues, counting over 130,000 words; approximately 120+ hours of gameplay, and more content gets added all the time. Additionally, the full version unlocks the Iron-Man mode (permadeath) and makes the Cleric and Mage classes available.

There are NO further micro-transactions. No pay-to-win, no "energy", no ads. Just a game, like they used to be.

STORY INTRODUCTION: A DARK TALE, AND A BRAVE NEW WORLD

A century ago, the Andorian Empire was destroyed by a magical cataclysm that brought The Horrors into our world; humanity was nearly annihilated. Many thousands managed to escape sailing away to the Imperial Colony of Varannar: a savage island, dangerous and unexplored. Mistrust and blame made impossible to elect a new Emperor, and the four Exiled Kingdoms were proclaimed.

Nowadays, the ragtag kingdoms still struggle to survive in a harsh land, often waging war on each other. Empire and the Horrors are, for many, just old legends and fairytales. You are a novice adventurer, rarely paying attention to such old stories; you’re more concerned with your latest misadventures and lack of gold.

But for once, luck seems to be on your side. You received a letter from New Garand, stating that you are the sole beneficiary of a big inheritance. You don’t remember any relatives in the capital of the Kingdom of Varsilia, but certainly that won’t stop you from an opportunity like this! The road to New Garand will reveal many surprises, and will teach you that fairytales and legends can become, in fact, very real.

Best way to describe it is a mix of Diablo and Baldurs Gate with a touch of elder scrolls. Its been a long time since we’ve been addicted to a game. 45 hours of game time in and Im nowhere close to finishing. This game is great. Its an open adventure system so you can get yourself into all kinds of trouble. There are also simple, quick quests and ongoing longer quests that might take you all over the world to search. You have clan, city, and country reputation that affect your gameplay. There are also several quests that you have to make serious choices that affect your reputation and future quests. Finally, there are occasional quests you receive that say something like someone stole our X and it would be great if you helped us. We have no idea where it could be. You can let it resolve over time or you can search all over trying to find an answer. Thats frustrating and awesome. There are some minor things we would like to see like some in game info on bestiary or more map related info on quests so that we dont have to occasionally go to the wiki for info but those are nit picky things. Overall, it tickles our adventure bone. The save system is easy and allows you to die over and over and over again without wrecking your game. Great job team. This game is awesome. Only downside is we wish there were more like it.

This game is so freaking good, if you are a legit RPG player, this is by far the most comprehensive game of this genre that we have played on a phone. Ten year old us would’ve been mind blown if he knew these would be on a phone like this.

This game is awesome love the way they did it. We bought it twice lol couldnt transfer data when we bought a new phone. Still worth it, we love that there are no adds no pay to win. Only wish we could play with a couple friends. More please, great job to anyone who worked on this game.

We have only started playing but so far this game is what we have been looking for. Very fun to play.

Great game, but when will the apple version update to match the android version. Thank you for the amazing time we had playing this game.

Had this game a few years now, replayed it countless times. So much content, and really harkens back to the good old days of Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale. A sincere game that delivers on its goal, it truly feels like a passion project. We just wish we had the option to play with a controller, like the PC version.

Somebody finally made a game, and a great one at that. No micro transactions no bs just a straight up game and we definitely bought the the expansion that only costs a few dollars.

Tons of free content. Doesnt pester you with ads. Give this one a try.

This game is like a console game but its only 3.99!

We have dumped countless hours into this game. If youre into old school dungeon crawler grinding adventures this is way dope. Game crashes every now and then on map change but we could care less based on how enjoyable it is. Way to go.

You need to try this game. Wish we had found this game sooner when we had more time on hand! Rare gem!

Cant stop playing. The replay value is insane. Great leveling system and difficult to boot!

As soon as we are going to finish talking with Tol the game exits every time do smth pls!!!!!

We love the game but every time we turn on the achievements with google play for cloud save, the game crashes. How to fix? Anyways great game and we love playing.

Im a fan of old school RPGs. One thing that matters most to us in a good RPG is not graphics, but story! A great story that pulls you in and makes you want to keep playing so that you can find out what happens next. We used to play this game on our Android and am now downloading it on our iPhone. We could probably find our old account, but Im going to just buy a new account to support the developer. Whoever made this game deserves more than $7 per copy. This game is better than Baldurs Gate. It includes so many quests, side quests, and daily quests that you could easily replay as different classes. We’ve played all the classes, and we think cleric was our favorite. This game is like if Elder Scrolls and Baldurs Gate had a baby. And Im happy its single player. It could be a multiplayer game, sure, but we feel that would be annoying personally. We enjoy the game as is and we never got to finish it. We enjoyed every class to be honest. Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, and Wizard are all fun for different reasons and the world is so huge you could easily play all 4 and go separate ways and have a unique game experience each time. There are also different outcomes based on your responses to certain NPCs. We remember saving before talking to quest givers like one we met was an actor and depending on what you said you would get a quest or not, and you had to like help them improvise a play they were failing at performing because they wanted you to rescue the supporting actor or something lol. The quests are well thought out and very fun. The main story is really good and we dont hate being pulled into it. Other RPGs in the past had main stories we wasnt interested in, but was forced to play through to progress. This games main story is actually really good and we love being pulled into it. 5/5 stars, 10/10 points, 100% awesome!!! Definitely the very best game we’ve played on mobile device. Dungeons of Chaos is the 2nd best, but this game is our personal favorite. Thanks dev!

Surprised this doesn’t have a wider fan base one of the best games on the App Store ! Please keep updating this!!!

Very good, challenging, the ads dont drive you crazy, we’ve spent 10 hours on it already.

It is an absolutely perfect came no bug(that we know of) it is the perfect picture of what an rpg game should be five stars.

Im actually very impressed with this game, at first we only downloaded it because it was free. But after playing it for a couple days and hitting the level cap… We fell in love with it! Graphics are simple, gameplay is simple, nothing flashy or new about this game, but, there is a certain charm to it and we love it! Highly recommend it if you love long… Long games with long… Long grinding.

This game is simply wonderful. From the music, to the dialog, to the exploration, to the combat, this game has everything an rpg should have, and its mobile! Considering this whole game (100+ hours of content) is made by a single person and is only $5, Im immensely impressed. This game is wonderful!

No, the graphics arent cutting edge. But if youre looking for an engaging slack and hash game with RPG elements and a decent storyline, we recommend you pick up Exiled Kingdoms. We’ve spent 20+ hours easily on the game and still have so much more to explore. Definitely going to be keeping an eye out for other games from the developer.

We look forward for update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having your choices affect the story is a great way to make the game continue to keep intrigue. The combat is tough but worth grinding.

Its challenging, makes you think about your builds in the different areas. That being said theres so much loot and secrets and silly dialog. Its one of the best games you can get in the store. Get it, get the upgrade. You wont regret it.

If you like simple questing and exploring a world that gets progressively harder – then this is the game for you. It is not a frilly game and there is only 1 in game purchase you can make which is to unlock all the levels and areas. Also, there is NO AUTO-FIGHT which is absolutely fabulous!!!

An amazing game with a huge degree of content. Well worth the low cost. The PC version has a few quests and locations not seen here and we hope to see those added to IOS. Great game, 10/10.

This is truly a great game. Last update gave a few more quests and maps. But we dont know if its completed ( you can still complete the game) but there are areas that are there but not accessible yet. Overall beyond worth the full game price (1 time), especially in the age of in game purchasing of other games. This game is how it should be done.

You need to make an online feature.

At a first glance this looked very amateurish but after we looked at reviews of people loving this game we started pushing through and then somehow this game sucked us in. Its one of the best iOS games we’ve ever played on our phone honestly.

The first couple hours are tough but once you get past it the game is legendary. Closest we have to Skyrim on iOS but its so much more dynamic.

This is one amazing game. The story is really engaging, the game mechanics are superb, and while the controls are a little clunky to us at times (I probably just need to practice more), this is just so addictive and we cant put it down. The game reminds us somewhat of the old Gold Box AD&D computer games from the late 80s to the 90s. Those were some of the best games we’ve ever played. This is not a dungeon crawler – its an overhead 45-degree rotated (ortho) action RPG where you control one single player. This has elements of Eye of the Beholder, Ys 1/2, and other of our favorites. If you liked the old Gold Box AD&D games, you will probably like this one as well. It is well worth it to spend the $4.99 to get the full game, that opens up areas that are really essential to the storyline. It also might not not be possible to finish the game without that, but at least the developer allows you to really try out the game for free first. (Personally we would have gladly paid $20 for this but thats because we love this game) we would give this game TEN stars if we could.

This game brings old nostalgia from the old Diablo one and two days of isometric RPG gaming. The hack and slash combat is very intuitive and the RPG elements are clearly there and is awesome. The only thing we would like to see implemented into the game would be maybe some simple character customization options. Example would be Change hair style, color, skin color, etc. Also we think it would be pretty cool for the developers to add in armor onto your character when equipping it. All in all for a game that can be free and for a low price to unlock other classes and 100s of hours of quest and things, its a classic!

It is very clear the developers love role playing games; the entire game is a letter to fans of the genre. We are still playing the free version (so much to do!), but will be purchasing the full license within a week. Thank you for caring enough to take time with the writing and story building process. This developer has a lot of potential!

We really enjoy The game it reminds our of old school Diablo.

Its almost like a miniature skyrim. Controller support maybe.

Truly a great RPG, this is exactly what we’ve been looking for on IOS for YEARS. A literal diamond in the rough.

We get paid thursday n needless to say we will.

We love this game but we havent beaten it yet because we wanted to complete all the side quests before completing the main story. So finding out that theres more stuff we could do if we had a different phone is a bit disheartening. But we still love this game and am excited about future updates if there are any. If we get to level 30 before the update then Ill go beat the game.

This is, bu far, our favorite mobile game, however there are some things we dont like about the free version. We can see why youd want to charge money to unlock specific areas but we dont see why there has to be a level cap for free users.

This is a great game. Not heavy on impressive graphics but it is great for lovers of classic RPGs. Its clear this is a labor of love and we really appreciate that. It is also wonderful that its actually a one time purchase and isnt trying to up-sell every few minutes! Really appreciate this gem. The more we play, the More fun it gets. Not just a grind to level. You meet folks, make friends and sometimes rivals. Happy to support this. Keep it up!! Thank you.

Id like to start by saying this was the best mobile game we’ve purchased, has amazing replay value. Even on casual mode its a challenge. One thing that we noticed was that the companion sometimes becomes stuck running in place behind objects. Other than that we love the game! Theres always something new to look forward to. Cant wait for the alchemy and forging is added. Cant wait to create a wicked potion and forge the ultimate weapon.

Like many here have said before, this is an old school style RPG and it brings all the amazing elements of one. You have a very good storyline with amazing twists, a great number of side quests that adds to the overall experience (both making your character stronger and giving you more depth into the EK world), great variety of monsters, equipments, and skills to build each of the four different classes into a direction. All in all its a solid game and we hope it grows! TIPS – (1) if youre starting now choose the easiest mode. (2) complete every side quest to give you EXP, gold, and equipment (3) follow the walkthroughs online to make sure youre making and getting the most out of your game (4) warrior is a good option for beginners.

Easily one of the best RPGs on an ipad.

Theres more than meets the eye in Exiled Kingdom. We own the mobile port of Baldurs Gate and dozens of poorly executed diablo clones that were either micro transaction cash grabs or simply just felt like lazy game making. First things first: dont let the minimalist UI fool you, we found actually interacting with menus and quick button presses in combat are sharp. The level progression and gameplay are more satisfying and challenging than we expected. This game also has some interesting lore concepts we havent seen elsewhere. Bottom line is this game gives us that feeling we loved when we first played Dungeon Siege and Icewind Dale but the challenge here is exploring the game world, not just getting it to run.

This is a game you will want to play. It has everything!

The combat is solid, the world well done. Writing good and animations decent. We know the pc version is constantly being updated and we would love to see those updates here as well.

Excellent game that asks no money except for 3.99 for the full version. Tons of loot. Challenging enough to be fun. You will be destroyed if you are not ready to enter a certain area, but there are always enough initial monsters to let you know if you are getting in too deep so that you can turn around and go elsewhere until levels are gained. Very satisfying character building and fun quests and dungeons. Our favorite RPGs are the 2 original Fallouts, Dragon Age, Arcanum,Balders Gate, and Divinity. If you like these you should go for this game.

This games crashes pretty frequently during map transitions. Im now at a point where we cant recover it crashes in the scene with fake Steinz and the wine. Please fix all these crashes!

Our only issue is that we have recently started using an iPhone and we previously purchased with a previous android phone wondering if we can restore our purchase on an iPhone.
