Community Insight:
Just started this game, but so far so good.
It's easy to follow and the mini games are fun.
Big thanks to the developers of this game. Its obvious there was a lot of thought, care and work put into it. It played pretty well. We like the bonus game, too. Lovely art work. Well done.
We dont usually rate games in fact this is our 1st rating, am really enjoying this game and Ive played hundreds.
Very intriguing storyline with many objects and tasks to complete. Puzzles are Very unique, and are fun. Always the challenge of finding collectibles, morphing etc. Really an enjoyable game and the characters and the voiceovers are believable. Graphics are interesting and clear. We have not experienced any glitches or lag times between scenes. A Big Thank You to the developers & Big Fish for the Great entertainment. Keep the games coming!! Highly recommend purchasing this nice long game, which is well worth playing. KdBoots.
Finally a game with REAL people! Getting so tired of monsters, dragons, fairies, mythical creatures! Game moves along very well, no glitches, voices are very realistic, super nice graphics. We usually skip the mini games, but these are fun to do, and not too hard. Kind of a short trial, but we knew after the first scene that we would be buying it.
Im not happy about the 20 seconds skip recharge but Im so tired of these games all being the same that Im giving thumbs up just for the interesting mystery.
This is a great game. Great storyline, graphics and fun, challenging puzzles. We were frustrated, however, with the delay in loading one scene to another…sometimes as much as 15 seconds. Perhaps it was our device, but we play all our games on the same device and have never had this problem.
The story for this game is quite good and the game is a good length. Our issues with it were puzzle instructions that were not clear so we didnt know what to do and too many of the same type of puzzle.
Lots of freezing, Especially when playing the hops games. We have to restart the games often. We say games in plural. Restarting a game takes away the enjoyment of figuring out what is next. Its either restarting or not getting enough explanation in order to play the game. What we noticed in casual mode are hops that were simple and then harder games. Not so cool. Not consistent. We wish we could compliment the game, but there are too many frustrations, which take away from the colors and style. We thought programmers and writers were practically geniuses, but their not. Since when did java get so complicated? Its too bad the game is full (at least ten) of bugs. It would have been fun. After paying 6.99$ we didnt get our moneys worth. We took our chance that it would be a good game all the way through. This company, and many more, make it almost impossible to get your money back. That would be fair. At least a code so people can get a game of their choice free. We think there are many gamers who believe like we do. This company doesnt want you to get your money back. The engineers write games to make money only. Our enjoyment is second place.
We completed the main game without any problems, but am stuck halfway thru bonus section. The map suddenly stopped working and items in inventory that need to be combined with others wont pull up, so Im unable to go any further. Very unfortunate as we were totally prepared to give it 5 stars.
This is one of those series in which each plot fails to bring something new to the table; and as a result, each subsequent plot mirrors its predecessors. We won't say a word about the worn-out storyline; you probably have an idea of what it's going to convey. Several predictable and repetitive elements resurface. Firstly, the coloration follows a formulaic design in which bright and vibrant colors pop out from the dark and shadowy backdrop. Secondly, the Press Pass (left-side pull-out tab) records your collectibles' and achievements' status. Thirdly, resentfully so, the frustrating lag between scenes returns to hinder both your adventure and your enjoyment. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The teleport map enables travel to labeled locations; however, travel is delayed by several seconds, which increase as you progress. The map's layout is well constructed, indicating available actions, as well as the locations in which you can collect a morphing object. On the upside, we can depend upon this developer to deliver highly engaging and creative gameplay from the beginning to the end. We feel connected to the environment through the immersive background animations that spring to life upon touch; for example, the security cameras turn in different directions. The HOS are cleverly executed and include puzzle-like aspects. However, scenes repeat — an archaic practice for the year 2018. You can switch to a jigsaw game, if desired. The varied puzzles are unique and entertaining; some suit the storyline and will advance your objectives. We liked the soccer table game. As usual, you discover a few sets of collectibles, which can blend into the environment. This is not the best in the series, but the interesting gameplay always makes up for some of the shortcomings. However, the continued lagging problem is plainly unacceptable, being that this developer had plenty of time to rectify this impeding glitch after the last four games in this series. Even with the lagging, though, we still thought the game was on the short side since we finished both the main game and the bonus rather quickly. Therefore, since we are left feeling jaded, our true rating of 3.5 stars is lowered to a final 3 stars. That said, those of you who are not afflicted by the lagging will most likely rate this game higher.
Note to Izzyoc: Happy New Year! Thanx for the info! We are surely pleased to see no upcoming games from this developer or the glitchy ERS bunny. What a relief! On to the game. We generally enjoy this series, save for the interminable lag time transitioning between locations. However this game to us was on the dull side. The storyline was one we have seen over and over again: an evil entity steals souls in the quest for eternal life. The game was quite short, even with the bonus adventure. The graphics were awful, which surprised us because they are usually quirky and bright in this series. Inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. There was a marked teleport map to transport you between locations, but the lag time increased from a bearable 3 seconds at the beginning to at least 8 seconds as the game progressed. There is no excuse for this long lag time; no other developer subjects us to this wait, and that adds to an extreme sense of ennui. The map indicated when you had found all the collectibles in that location. The HO scenes were somewhat ordinary. There was some variety but mostly word lists. You could also opt to complete a jigsaw as the alternative puzzle. We found many of the puzzles simplistic and boring. There werent that many new ones, but we slogged through most of them. There wasnt as much to do at each location but there was a lot of jumping around, and as the lag time increased, our patience waned! In addition there were some touch screen sensitivity issues, and at times the game seemed unresponsive. Remember, gaming is subjective so what bothered us about this game might not affect you. We just wanted to let all of you know that this was a very average game. Due to the poor graphics, the exceedingly long load times, and the weak storyline we cannot rate this game more than 3 stars. So we will leave it at that! Happy New Year to all, warm wishes to KimTwilight, Izzyoc, Dracyy, Catalina, and Tiramisu, and happy gaming to everyone.
The storyline was blah, mini games are too easy but it gets frustrating when you tap on hidden objects and nothing happens although its the right object. It responds after a while, but it slows things down. We think the weakest aspect is the storyline, it didnt catch us at all.
We played all the way to the end of the main game and am having the same difficulty with the silver water gun. So disappointing, please fix! We have purchased hundreds of these games, have tried everything. We don't want to start over now.
Could be a great game, but the load time between each screen is incredibly long. Also, you have to tap objects several times before it registers. Makes for a slow and tedious game.
Beautiful graphics, but slow, slow, slow in transition between scenes. Cannot get past the shooting monkey scene. Cleared it and the silverwater gun does not go away. Please issue an update or refund.
We were loving this game but after referring to the guide to shoot the creatures, we finally got them all but can not go any further. The hint keeps telling us to move forward but we cant. So we cant play the game anymore. Big let down.
Super fun, but Im near the end, killed all the creatures with our silver water gun and they just keep coming back, we cant move forward. Ive tried the skip button and it does nothing. Ive tried to walk through the portal, does nothing. There hasnt been a glitch in a Big Fish game in a long time, please fix, would like to finish the game and Ill hopefully give a higher rating.
Was enjoying the game till the end of the main story. Shot all the creatures with silver water gun, but the game wont progress any further. The water gun wont even reset.
During the bonus game we entered a new scene and it will not acknowledge when we touch anywhere on the screen. Im also unable to move from this location. The game is now unplayable and Im unable to finish. It really peeves us when we pay for a game that is unplayable! Especially when its such a hassle to attempt to get a refund. Grrrrr.
When we purchase a game, we expect to play without being interruptd by your incessant ads. On any given game, we have close ad windows about 60 times. It really ruins the experience.
We were playing the fit the blocks game at the bridge, when the app froze in the middle of a reset. After rebooting our iPad, our profile no longer exists!!! Players beware.
Cannot adjust settings – just fast, etc. The developers, fast is not our fast. This has ruined the game for us! Also, there are no indications of what objects to find in each scene. We wasted our money. We will continue to play, because we dont have any other new games to play. Bah.
We have to click on an object in HO scenes, multiple times in order to clear it. We mean every object! Sometimes 8 times in order to select it! DELETE.
