We absolutely love it, it does make us miss the Golf variant of the game. Still solid though.
Game is overloaded with things to keep track of and to manage/purchase. Not to mention, you unlock things as you progress as you level and theyre nowhere to be found in your inventory or mailbox. Its a conundrum of imbalance. It could be fun if it was balanced and easier to manage, but its so weighed down that there is just no way when there are way better alternatives on the App Store.
Ive been waiting for like 10 years for that intro song! Every now and then Ill think about it and would try to find videos on yt of the intro with 0 luck. We logged backed in after a few months break only to hear that intro we once heard when we were around 12-13. Thank you so much.
We downloaded a new update and logged in for some reason the game is called fish masters and not fishing superstars but when we logged in alll our progress was gone GONE 3 years of grinding just for it to all go down the DRAIN the game was fine why WHY.
Love this game but recent update made app crash please fix asap. Other than that this game is awesome. So many prizes so much fun to play. Always a challenge.
We have been with the game for over 8 years, and we enjoy playing the game, but wish we were able to change our ingame username with stars or a pay to change.

We played this when it first came out and loved it! Rediscovered it recently and looked forward to playing it again, however the games servers are too slow to play the game seriously. Please allocate more data for this game! We would pay to make this happen. Thanks.

We LOVED this game so much, we even had a old backup that never loaded in 2012,we have a new account. But suddenly the game broke this year. We can't play it. We've been waiting for this game to load, but it keeps saying error. New edit: we re downloaded it, and we had fun for a while, but now it says that we don't have enough Mb, especially after we cleared enough space for an extra gigabyt.

We love this game! Its pretty fun and we love the idea of a fishing rpg. We have one huge problem tho. One that will keep us from playing this game. We cant ever complete limited time purchases. No matter how we try to get ahold of the devs they never answer. We just want to be able to spend a little money. Fifty bucks here or there, because we enjoy the game that much but we dont have time to grind all the stuff we want. So thats it really. If they ever get ahold of us maybe Ill change our review. But for now Im going to have to shelve it.
We love the Superstar series, and always have since some of the first releases on iPhone 4. We miss Soccer superstars it was by far the best game you guys had made. Maybe think about bringing it back would ya? We would love to play it again especially with the advancement of phones since then we bet you guys could work wonders! Again thanks this is an awesome game, keep up the great work.
Pay to play sums it up. At level 28 they stop giving you stars. The daily challenges for stars require high level areas that are out of reach. Fun while it lasted.
We played this game about a year ago and one of the updates would not allow our character to load anymore so we deleted the game. We were upset at first because we love this game but coming back and rebuilding our character again is so much fun. Highly recommend this game.
We've been playing this game for a while (a few years), and this is still our favorite fishing game. It's fun, can present quite a challenge, has great gameplay and graphics, and there's lots to unlock. We do have two concerns that we would like to be addressed: 1. Lack of cloud storage for save data. We would like to play the game on a new device with a newer operating system, but without cloud storage (like linking to Game Center), we may eventually be unable to play the game. 2. Revealing outfits. While we would honestly prefer none of the outfits to be revealing (especially since the game is rated 4+; honestly, if we had a 9-year-old, we wouldn't want him/her playing this game for the reason of the revealing outfits), we would at least like them to be where and in a way that we don't have to see them (the beginner's tutorial is something that we believe should change, for example; we were able to see the tutorial because we were attempting to see if the game would prompt us to use our game data from the other device). Like we said before, this is a great game, and we're looking forward to the game becoming better and better. (Also, we're running a version of the game that is earlier than 5.2.2, in case it shows that this review is for version 5.2.2.).
Good program, art, unrealistic fish hunting but they have a little system…this bait works on these fish etc. Plenty of cute anime characters… And we think outfits if you pay or earn enough coins… Never happen… Anyways…. Would of been a great buy it game but they ruined it … Trying to turn our devices into a pay per play arcade… Um sorry… As soon as we recognize this business model… Us and many others stay away as we find these deals sketchy… We're a developer ourselves and we think this is a grubby way to do business… Sell ad dons… Not consumables… Nice business model… We're not buying though… Too bad… Game is cute.

The UI seems a bit outdated but the gameplay itself is fun :).

This game is awesome and we've been playing for 3.5 years but why did you change the illustrated book? It was much better 2 years ago. We loved the music and it told you the order of the fish sizes from smallest to biggest so about 4.75 stars but please change back because we don't like the current illustrated book.

It's a good game and we would not ours playing the game but, we lost our file after the latest update and we can't get it back even though we registered with gamevil. We can't get our file back and it makes us annoyed since we can't play on that file.
Why is it not in English anymore.
Ever since the new update we haven't been able to play/open game it acts like it's downloading and installing 6 update files then once it says successfully updated it starts them all over again repeatedly .. It been doing this for over a week now..we have been playing for a couple years now please help or fix this.

Don't make people log into Facebook or other account to simply try it we refuse to put a game on Facebook or create an account before even getting to try the game. Deleted after review without even playing.

We just upgraded our iPhone to an iPhone 6 from a iPhone 5. Supposedly all was up loaded to iCloud to save everything. But when the Verizon store down loaded all our info and apps we discovered we don't have our fishing superstars v-3 back in the original status we had attained. We have to start all over again from level 1. We were on level 59! We lost all contacts with friends and can't find our Guild team! Our team was Seawolves with our player name as Docjim MC. Our Master on the game was Nucky or Nuckey. This totally upsets us as we have been playing this game for about three years! HELP HELP.

We just downloaded iOS 9.0 and know it says that illegally modifying game information is illegal. Delete and try again. Can you please come out with an update to fix this.
Over priced items. To reach VIP7 you have to buy a minimum of 14 $100 star packs. That's $1,400! Who would spend that much money for a temporary 30 day VIP reward? Way too difficult to get stars. At least give stars in the main quests please. And add more quests. Make the fish in the aquarium swim around an actual aquarium with a side bar to feed fishes. Maybe make the fish sizes more realistic. Like we don't get why in the beginning it is so hard to catch a tiny fish. It would be easy to catch such a small fish just using a stick with a string. Update the character designs. Especially the female ones so that kids don't get uncomfortable playing this game. We also think it's unrealistic for a women with huge b**bs to be fishing giant sharks. The characters should look like they've worked out at the gym for a while so that they could catch sharks and such. The update on the hero set being at double stats for the weekend should be displayed in the shop in the item description. Not many people know that later the costume they bought would have its stats dropped by 50%. Also there are a lot of typos that haven't even been fixed. It wasn't that annoying until we played this game for a while and kept seeing typos that weren't corrected. The only reason we don't 1-star our review is because we're nice and also really good at this game. But please change these things because it seems like as the app developers you shouldn't be ignoring this. Upgrading rods shouldn't downgrade with failing. In-app purchases are seemingly necessary because the game is based on low chances and our stars are wasted. No one will spend money on this game if you keep the game this challenging. This game doesn't even have enough reviews in the App Store for a rating for the current version because most people put in a low star review and left. This game has a fun creative foundation and it's cool to be able to fish for dinosaurs but it seems like if you don't spend any money there is an invisible barrier and if you are unfortunate with legend luck cards you will never catch any of the stronger boss fish. The trial rod from the Sunset Lighthouse quest shouldn't be held to a limited time as compensation. This entire game is based on like. Feels like a 1% chance to get good rods from luck coupons or upgrade rods past +10. You try and buy stars but a small batch of them is too expensive and you might not get anything worthwhile depending on what you use them on. Seriously what the fish. Fix this game NOW. PLEASE.
Fun, fast, and addicting Japanese fishing game with great anime visuals. Even if you don't like fishing, give this game a try.

This by far our fav fishing game would recommend to everyone.
This is a great game, honestly it's the only game that we play on our phone. Leveling up takes some time, but the more you play the easier it is to make money. The only problem with the game is how unrealistic it is… A 4 foot long bass? Also, it would be cool to get stars for having one of the top 3 daily fish lengths (there really doesn't seem to be a purpose behind this other than self pride). Anyway, great game.
You bunch of crooks. Good game but it is crooked. We bought 500 pearls and got stones and amulets all the same and 3/4 had failed when used. See if we invest anything in your garbage anymore you bunch of thieves.

Game play great, maintenance and network issues low, adaptive frame work and lots of activities to keep u in the game.
Good game been playing for about 2years now we've been neglecting but iam on it now. If you haven't played it yet give it a chance we know you will love it and get hooked on a line and sinker so get ready and hold on you will meet your fish big ones and small ones if you don't try it you scared of fish just kidding go on give it a try.
Love the pacing, the things to do, the fish… Good game dynamics. And while they encourage real money spending… You don't have to to still have fun and enjoy. Altogether, a delightful game for hours and days and weeks of fun.
Menu seems cluttered but fun game.
