Cant see how to get rid of ads. There are way too many and it makes the game annoying. Please help!

We played 500 growing up. Finally found this online and it does not disappoint. So very happy – its satisfying and enjoyable.

The hands are well executed and the graphics are commendable. However, the hands that East gets has him bidding almost every game and often opening at 7-no trump which just eliminates any auction bidding. Of the many, many hands played E-W take the bid 75% of the time. It should be programmed just the opposite for us gamers to enjoy.

Everybody in our family and everybody in our husbands family plays 500. We really enjoy this app, but the ads are too often and to intrusive.

Unable to close ad. No way to get around it.

Really gets frustrating when AI can see through your cards and wins almost every time. Just not fun.

We object to the violent and sexual game ads that Im subjected to!!!

Card game seems randomheavily leaning to computer.

We love to play this game! But its really frustrating when our partner constantly over bids us and then sets us. Aarrrggghhh! We want a better partner!

This is the best 500 game we have tried. We like the hints and the way it lets you go back to replay or change your bid.

Ads are annoying. We wish we could mute the sounds automatically or pay a reasonable amount to remove ads completely otherwise it is a decent game and layout.

Whenever an ad for Paid Out Brain displays, it locks the game and we cant get out of the ad.

You start bidding most of the time and hardly ever get to bid (crappy cards) while the other 3 players ( AI by the way) bid, you will get set way more than you will ever set the other players. The app developers forgot that the game is for the user to play!!!!

The game itself we give 5 stars. We understand the need for ads to support a free app but really, do you folks actually review the ads before taking their money and using them? If so, better revamp your mission/vision/value statement as it is sadly lacking.

East and west always get the better cards and the bid. Real life cards isnt like that.

Worst game ever. Your partner will take tricks from you. They bid 8 with having 5 in a suit and only 1 card in the top 5 of that suit. Absolutely stupid. Do not waste your time with this one. Gave it one star because you cannot give it zero which is what it is.

We like playing except there is no way in real life would we get that many bad hands, just not fun.

Fun game, very realistic to how we play, but terrible at how many bad hands it will deal you in a row. If you played and kept getting these hands you wouldnt be happy, somebodys cheating.

  1. no trump played way more often than not 2) opponent wins 90% of the time 3) can rarely bid because hands are either poor or player bids higher ahead of you (computer) 4) no way the dealing is random.

Its tough to continue to play when the cards continuously go to the opposing players! Game after gameit got old.

We’ve been waiting for a good 500 app for a decade. This is it! Smart AI. Customizable rules. Really accurate and fun.

Really love the game and a bit of feedback would be the computers dont really make the smartest bids a lot of the time.

The long promised improvements to bidding have not been delivered. Suggestion: please do not allow the North partner to ever bid 7 of any suit without holding at least the joker or one of the bowers.

We have been playing 500 almost all our life. We agree withjuliaPGH about the bad computer partner plays. We also feel there are too many no trump Bids. No trump on a run without the joker is set most of the time. It is frustrating. But then again we understand it is a program and not a person.

Easy learning features and helpful coaching features.

We consistently get bad initial hands that are no fun to bid with.

Was invited to substitute in a card club and knew nothing about hearts. Used this app to teach myself prior to the first game. It really prepared us well.

Partner N secures the bid, he draws trump and leads a looser back, we take it and lead back the ace of a ace/king combo, our partner trumps our ace and leads back another looser which causes use to loose extra tricks – the AI knows little about card play – this has happened numerous times across their many card ga – frustrating and NOT fun.

We love playing the real card game, this program as a rule gives the player poor cards, thus you either cannot put in a good bid or the opposing computer is able to outbid and win. Dont download this game if you like the real card game.

West is the Declarer. The bid is Open Nullo. In 3 plays we will have eliminated 2 of the 3 diamonds West has and he will have to take the trick on the third play. We start by playing the 6 of diamonds, West plays the 5 and our partner, North, plays the Joker, taking the lead away from us. Why! North is holding no cards in his hand that can set West. Why take the trick? This happens all the time. The point of Nullo is to get the declarer to take a trick and the set gets destroyed when the opponent plays the Joker unnecessarily. So frustrating! But when we need North to take the lead by playing the Joker because he does have cards that can set the declarer, he does not play it. We need to check out other 500 apps.

Just added this game. Played 30 rounds with AI. 25 of them were Open Nullo bids. Not realistic. Will wait for update and try again but inclined to delete app without improvement.

We had reviewed previously and given 5 stars. This was based on how well the hand play had been programmed. The other players were really very smart and avoided things like overtrumping a partner. Other 500 games we’ve played were just that bad. Anyway, after playing a while, Im tired of how often the other players bid NT, especially without the joker. Or Nullo. They go down often and take good hands away from us without any chance of winning. Frustrating. Hand play is great! But please work on bidding!

We love playing the game, so thank you for the work you have put into this app. We have a few issues with the computer (my partner) sometimes playing poorly. For instance, when it is clear only our partner and we have trump, our partner will lead trump, making impossible any hope of trumping each others losing cards. Often, we dont make a bid we could have easily made if the computer would not lead trump once the opponents show out. Also, our partner will interrupt in the middle of our no trump bid and running a long suit by playing the joker unnecessarily. Invariably, his/her hand is not good, and we lose the rest of the tricks while we are holding a winning hand. It gets frustrating.

Overall we enjoy this 500 card game app. A couple tweaks that we suggest. We have noticed that after taking a trump trick, computer players will follow by leading out with a bower. Just because one has the top trump card, team that doesnt have the bid should not lead out with trump. Also ones non bidding partner should always help the other by leading out with all their Aces. If we make the bid we are likely to have a couple dud cards in our hand. By partner playing all their Aces we can clean up our hand.

We wonder if you folks have ever played the game. When you repeatedly bid no-trump without stoppers in all 4 suits or the joker, and therefore go set most of the time, it demonstrates a complete lack on knowledge of how to play cards. On the plus side, the game does move quite rapidly.

We’ve played 500, and this one is very good. So many variations! Please check this out if you play 500.
