I Like How She Was Able To Move On Without

"the ending felt incomplete. i like how she was able to move on without him, but i think it would’ve felt like a more well-rounded story if he was in her art gallery and they found each other again, or at least made up somehow.", A Rootily Toot Toot says.

  • The ending felt incomplete to me

  • the ending was perfect. It was meant to be that way. Florence found the happiness she needed in the end, without needing to rely on another person. She grew stronger from her experience and thus could live for herself. It is far more perfect this way, instead of a hollywood cliché. Real life does not alyways pan out, the way we want it. But if we stay open and embrace new ideas, we can always recreate ourselves again and again. This game is perfect

  • Such a cliffhanger, what the hell happened to Krish? They showed the picture of her and him, but that was the last we saw of him! I mean, the story was good, just a huge cliffhanger that annoyed me.

It’s Danbo: The ending felt incomplete to me

Wrong: Such a cliffhanger, what the hell happened to Krish? They showed the picture of her and him, but that was the last we saw of him! I mean, the story was good, just a huge cliffhanger that annoyed me.

Greg Gately: Agreed..music was phenomenal and really helped move the story with its nice visuals….I found the story really cute and sweet as well…shows the effect one person can have on your life and serve as inspiration on a ‘sad’ time in your life….and the game leaves you with a smile…what else could ya want…as you said, the game does what it sets out to do and I always love seeing devs do something different and fresh like this.

Laxhoop2525: Uh… It’s fine, I guess? But $3 is absolutely a bit pricey for such a shallow experience. It’s a popup book. It requires as much investment from you, and involvement from you, as a popup book. And it’s only 34 minutes at the most, too.
Not really worth the absolute avalanche of praise it’s received, like really. Kinda feels like the developers knew some people at Apple and they helped to artificially inflate the ratings.

motormanek: this makes me want to cry tbh it was beautifully done

Connie Cutcliff: I liked it! Thanks App Unwrapper.

Lee Jie: Your commentary voice is too low it is quite uncomfortable to listen… but nice gameplay!

Nope: me and my wife played and we cried

juicyluce9: got one minute into the video and loved what I saw. going to download it now. thanks!

Eric Liu: I was hoping Krish will show up at the end looking at her paintings…

Gaspani Frinzi: Oh wow, 480 and 60fps! Never seen such thing before!

Greg Gately: Loving this game so far…I’m on chapter 4

brucewillis2: "Who needs a boyfriend when you have a cat" lol! – you should do reviews for Polygon or Kotaku, they’d love you.

melting: They’re about the same price as Bard’s tale. just get bard’s tale instead or max payne

dogwhimper: As someone who likes this type of game, I found this game outstandingly boring and trite, I get what they were going for but to me it failed on every single stage of the story and execution.

Brandon Theurer: Kevin Penkin is a musical genius.

lukfa: i think this story tells a real life and i love it

SoulsIV: I hope there will be longer story :_)
