Just downloaded this; we dont know what people are on about considering this game came out JUST THIS YEAR ;jerks.. But we will say this: THE STEERING NEEDS A SENSITIVITY SETING; we feel that if you can FINE TUNE THAT this game would be VERY PLAYABLE It is a very great idea; and since we were born in 1986; a MUST DOWNLOAD on our device HOPE YOU CONTINUE WORKING ON THIS; IT IS WORTH IT PERIOD!!!! Update: Thank You for TIGHTENING UP the STEERING a little; THE CAR IS NOT A SHOPPING CART ANYMORE!!!! Update 2: You NEED to GET RID OF THE COUNTDOWN TIMER And use those yellow cassettes for A DIFFERENT PURPOSE!!! Def is a difficult game to master, and we def wish it was a little easier, but its a cool game and it deserves more downloads!
We really, really like the game. Its one of those games we can just get sucked into and play endlessly until it crashes. We wanna keep breaking our high scores, going for ridiculously long runs but the game constantly and randomly crashes, often times while Im in the middle of a really good run. Fix that and itd be a 5/5 easy. Running on an iPhone 14 Plus, we expect better performance.
We cant recommend the game until this is fixed. We’ve had multiple runs ruined by this issue. What disappoints us is how this game has potential to be great. P.s please fix.

Hi we love playing this game its really fun. And we would like if their could an endless time game mode with cops or something.
First of all we gotta open n close the game twice just to get to the loading screen. Then the game dont even load even if we leave it for 10 minutes and the screenshots actually looked decent too.
If youre expecting an analysis on the gameplay, just keep scrolling. It didnt even open. We were super excited because we love retro 80s artstyle games, but it wouldnt even load.
We’ve always love 80s themed thing and this is exactly as Im imagined it. Its a great game and really fun. We think the controls are hard enough to make the game fun. One thing we would change is just the music? Maybe adding more to fit the Miami vibe. But we think its a good game.
First off we love this game and its graphics and just its chill vibe and we LOVE the 80s vibe you got going though we feel like it could get a little more 80s style but otherwise its awesome. Another thing is that idk if its in the game but an delorean or even the back to the future delorean maybe idk and this game has soooo much potential though maybe dont add ads cause then it would get annoying and we would stop playing and dont have a pay to win in the future. Another is maybe making the explosion graphic when you crash a little better idk how you would but yeah and adding more cassettes to collect and maybe have like limited ones you could get bygoing though the game that play music in like a library with all the collectable ones and just working on this game would make us happy and also maybe make the controls less slippery and have the cars have a little more grip to it and just maybe add some tricks you can do so yeah thats all we have but overall great game good job.
The game itself is alright and would almost be enjoyable, if you could make it out for more than 20s. The crash system is WAY too sensitive, like some other reviews maybe add a hp bar that way a slight tap to the rail wont end your run? Its that it wants to have a chill vibe and all that with synth wave/vapor wave but its just not happening when we keep crashing, A LOT. Just way too punishing for a slight tap to the rail etc, would be amazing if something like that existed, maybe some sort of cruise mode where you cant fail at all to completely just chill/vibe? Apart from that, good arcade game, if you can manage to play long enough to enjoy it.
So its an awesome game very inspiring great aesthetics but it has hard controls. Also tip if you press the name of the game at the top it switches your car.
And while were at it, you could make this game a much better quick cash grab if you just had a small amount of stuff to purchase with cassette tapes as currency, or you know, more content at least? More diversity in the map, more obstacles to deal with and a health bar that goes down massively for every SLIGHT tap at least. 1.99 for a day and night, less ads, and three extra turbo boosts also aint it. Thats at least worth 0.99 or slightly more if you really want to be that way. Dont give us the oh you dont have 2 dollars? Excuse. Have you seen the prices outside lately?

Love the aesthetics and vibes. Agree with other reviewers. But the game shows no mercy, you slightly tap the railing and the game ends, you crashed. Can use better game systems.
This game is nausea inducing due to the floaty camera, and terrible panning when turning. This game lacks creative vision, and shows that the goal of this game is to show the developers goals. Nothing. This game is nothing. Its a waste of time for the end user and a waste of time for the developers. Im sorry you wasted your time on this because just like the time we wasted being nauseated by this game, the developers wasted their time creating this steaming pile of food poisoning primordial soup. Thank you for reading. This was probably the least waste of time youve spent on this game.
We played for about 8 seconds then felt as if Id seen everything the game as to offer. We guess as long as you dont spend any money it isnt really harming anyone but we just dont understand why anyone would spend their time on this.
Whenever we are trying to go inside the app it freezes on the introduction screen, we have no other choice but to uninstall.
The controls are garbage, we’ve spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out and we havent. Fix them.
This is the only review for an app we’ve left, do not download. You will end up deleting in less than 10 minutes because this game is impossible to control.
Controls are ridiculous. The game Looks good and music is cool.
We were so excited when we read about this. We couldnt download and play it fast enough. We love everything even remotely vaporwave – this game has everything going for it. Why two stars? The controls. Sometimes the car just decides hey we dont want to steer that way, Id rather keep going toward the wall None of the cars are immune to this. Its a gamble whether the car will turn literally every time you tap the screen Please fix this game. We want to love it so badly. We want to spam the creator to feature our music. Pleeeaseee.
Soundtrack, graphics, textures, and everything else is simply spectacular. However, the controls are so horrifically AWFUL that it becomes unplayable after 5 minutes. Even if you add like a guide or tutorial about how driving works would instantly make this 5 stars.
Its so hard to control the car.
Graphics are amazing and unique. Really relaxing and simple game. Controls arent as bad as everyone says, we thought they were perfect.

This was a pretty sweet game. We appreciated the experience and paid for full version. However, it keeps kicking us out of our purchase full game and forcing us to play the limited free version with adsonly once in a while the RESTORE PURCHASE option shows up. No good.
The game looks good but has one of the worst controls ever. Sometimes they dont respond either.
But not today… The camera shake and zoomed in view make us nauseated. Then the controls just quit working when collecting a tape. And one bump of a side rail is an insta-kill. The controls are way too sensitive. Also took 3 runs to figure out how to control which was also hindered by the tape lock up of the controls. How do we change cars? It says we have 2? So is the in app purchase a subscription? Calling it a pass makes us think it is. If so… Heck no. 5 seconds is our longest run. Also why do you need so much data? Privacy portion is also a turn off.
The controls (pressing and holding on the side of the screen to turn) are unresponsive at least 50% of the time.

Its great idea as a game but on our small screen iPhone, it makes us feel nauseating, The controls feels like its a little off, and the view of the camera only makes things worst. It has a pretty cool sound track though and if you have a bigger screen, you probably could end up having fun but in our opinion we wouldnt play this for very long.
The game is fantastic now, we still wish that hitting the wall didnt wreck you immediately, and that maybe the intro sequence wasnt as long as it is as each run takes a little while to get into, but all in all its a great game.
If the camera angle were lower so the player can see further out and if the steering wasnt so inconsistent this would be a very good game.
Im quite familiar with Balzs Kalocsai and his YouTube channel Welcome to the ’80s. Im a fan of his work, especially the way he integrates Miami Vice into Grand Theft Auto : Vice City, which are quintessential 80s icons. What we like: Balzs Kalocsais unique magic of 80s retro theme. The Grand Theft Auto : Vice City inspired visuals. The vaporware themed music. Easy interface. What we think could be better: Option to change camera view. Option to control car throttle. Option to control audio settings. Option to skip the game over/score screen. Option to change car color. (Optional) we shall recommend this game to our friends. (They are into Grand Theft Auto : Vice City and Miami Vice)
Little difficult to understand at first how to play but it is quite addictive! Really captures the vibes of Florida in the 1980s. Also you should add a pink cassette power up as a reference to Vice City, that would be super cool! :)

We never thought we would see a YouTube channel make their own game with the help of someone else. Its a great game other than we wish there was more in the base model please fix this in your next update. We are one of your YouTube fans and we have been for around 1-2 years now so please fix our only issue.
We are incredibly impressed with not only the quality of the game but also its atmosphere and soundtrack. We would not be surprised if a major studio made this game to be honest its that good. If theres one thing that could be improved upon is the camera which could be zoomed in a little more but o can see why its zoomed out. Great game also really relaxing.
The controls are pretty wonky. If there is a way to add an option to use buttons to steer, then this game would be flawless! Everything else is awesome though; especially the music!
Rated 3 stars given the cool graphics and concept of the game. However, the controls are some of the worst we’ve seen with games of this caliber…. Not to mention, unless you pay $1.99 you will only get to use 1 car and 1 location. There is NO campaign in which to earn different cars, pointless. You will lose a lot of customers for this reason alone. Hope it works out for you but to get money out of most people, you must show some value for why they are spending cash… And there is none other than diff cars. Advice… Maybe offer IAP to speed up the campaign process of new cars or diff locations but as it sits… People will download, play 20 min and then delete and move onto something of value. Just saying…. Good luck!
