Either way dont waste your time everything takes too long because you have to have goods and this game is genuinely garbage.
We can no longer get into Jaims world after updating to latest game version a few minutes ago. Please fix.
The app arbitrary/randomly removes selected army going into battle field causing unnecessary casualties or even battle lost due to lack of army and firepower. This is unfair. Fix the bug asap please. The same bug has been there for months and nothing got done! Update… Bug is still stubbornly hasnt been fixed! Nice job.
Fix your server, it is trash!!!! Your game crashes constantly and doesnt work. Your only fix is to contact customer service and their only solution is to delete the game and reinstall. How does this fix your trash server???? Fix your stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had to take a minute to put in a review of this game for fellow Boomers! This strategy game has held our interest for half a year, so far. It is not a fast moving battle game, it is empire building but much more. Within the basic building game, there are mini-games popping up every few weeks and a new Expedition every week. These mini-games are fun and give cool prizes as you progress. This game is what you make it. You can go many different directions. For instance, we are focusing on the military and build it up as we research. You could focus on trade or commerce or PvP games if you wish as it has a wide reaching format. The reason it is ideal for us Ancients is that it moves slowly and logically. You wont finish playing in a frenzied sweat. There are also plenty of on-line walkthroughs available depending on your interests. As for In-game purchases, we have probably spent around $80 or so to move our research along, but you are not required to spend a penny. It is hard to hold our interest in games, as much as we love them, but this one is a keeper!

We love this game and it has no ads and we love how you have to go threw all the ages and towards the future to have a complete and loving civilization.
We have enjoyed playing this game and we the past we were obsessed. Now if gets easier and easier to put it down and do something else. The game has become one disappointment after another. Events that we enjoyed have become restricting to play, once you get to a certain point you find that you can only play once a day. Its no longer a competition but more who has the biggest wallet. We have bought diamonds and we purchased a chest or 2 but they have taken it to a whole new level. We can understand why so many people are quitting. Good luck and happy forging as they say.

Beware, Inno Games knowingly allows cheating even when it is reported with proof. It has moved to excessive pay to play. It also is a safe haven for anyone who is triggered by the most innocuous comment. The last straw was a one day ban (I wasnt told why) without warning which effectively destroyed our event progress. This company has seriously given up on principles and just wants to coddle for the money grab. Bad business turned FoE into a bad game. Avoid at all costs.
Long time player here, Its a great time consumer when we can log in. Since we updated to the new ios on ipad(6 gen) it wont log into Game Center. We are logged in on game center. We have no issues loggiing in on our iphone xr( newest ios). We prefer the bigger screen to play.
Seems to the game as a glitch. We bought some diamonds, but never got them and twice we got overcharged the same purchase, and they refuse to do anything about it.

We love this game, Been playing for years.. But the one thing we HATE is when we get a new phone and try and log into our old account it doesnt matter how many times we reset the password we cant get in it say wrong password.
Too many ads, same thing ever day, no change. Then new era opens up and first issue is go to open first new tech and will allow us to pay fp but not use resources, did logout and in, so cant finish the tech and move into new era.
This game is a waste of time. They now make it only possible to be successful if you invest money. Find something more productive to do with your time if you need a distraction.
Theres no way of seeing a list format the buildings in your city. It takes forever to find a specific building once you get up to around Tomorrow or Future because we have so many buildings. We’ve actually built buildings twice because we couldnt find the first one. Other than that, pretty good.
GE was one thing that we looked forward to every day, but now with the potential of diamonds gone we dread it.
We love this game. We’ve played two separate times and both times we were always engaged. Its a chill game, you Do Not have to spend money to play and advance this game. The Events payout well and are quit straightforward to play. Its a simple empire building game to play and we recommend it highly pun intended.
The graphics are ok but the games seems to lag and go really slow. Really doesnt grab your attention. Seems a bit boring.
No more ads available? All day? You know, we cant play the game when we have to watch and ad to get our stuff AND THERE ARE NO ADS AVAILABLE FOR AT LEAST 8 HOURS NOW.
Im fine with everything about the game except for the adds. Im fine with the adds, but loading them takes thrice as long as the ads themselves. Often, when an add fails to load, we cant watch another one again and have to restart the game. It takes around 15 seconds for an add to load. We could ignore them, but they pop-up everywhere in the game, so we have to get it over with so that they would stop bothering us. We see you guys announce a new version of the game at least once nearly every week, but everything is just the same. Could you make the game faster to load the adds and also other things like the tavern options? That would really save us time for the rest of our days.
A amazing game but you need to add more you should be attacked by enemies instead of just you attacking them. You should also add the ability to build provinces in your captured territories.
Well it took a while to download it but it was just our internet connection so it was not the games fault it is really good we love it and we’ve only played for 2 minutes.
We know this review wont do any good since yall couldnt care less what us players think, but why do we need to be congratulated every time we collect from some of our buildings in our city; all those pop ups are really annoying.

Please take the ads away!! We LOVE this game! We’ve been playing this game on and off since 2012. We play on iPad and we didnt mind paying for things now and then since there were no advertisements. But now-advertisements are all over. Folks are leaving that have played for a long time. PLEASE get rid of the ads. We cant justify paying for fairly expensive upgrades/prizes in a game with ads. We have considered leaving myself, but we love the game! It is fun, addictive and a great place to work with lots of different folks!

When we went to open the app so we could play the game it wanted either login or continue playing as guest. We chose guest player and it failed to do anything but tell us the player does not exist. Well if to you we do not exist, then to us you dont exist either. So will let you know and now deleting the trash app.
The game has gone downhill this year as they changed everything to fragments. Instead of getting complete things now for an event or competing in GE we only get fragments. Makes it a lot harder to get anything worthwhile without spending money – and a lot of it!
Used to be a great game. Now it is all advertisements. One ad a day we could see but we shouldnt have to spend an hour a day watching ads.
We pay money every month and you STILL make watch ads on iPad and we phone this IS NOT Right since we have to pay for your service if it was free that is something else BUT we HAVE TO STILL PAY.

Good game but you never get a chance to actually get diamonds.
After participating in this game for over 5 years – we are disappointed that there is no easier way to Increase the level of buildings won during the events – the auction bldg doesnt contain or frequently provide newer buildings and now they added the annoying building fragment pieces in the expedition but it doesnt included the newer event buildings ( example-heros tavern, gen. Windmill, harvest barns ) our point is you acquire these buildings with no consistent way to earn or win levels – we now always sell the event buildings if we dont win a level 3 or higher; Also the further along you get in a world you need less and less supplies because your buildings produce supplies and yet that is one of the largest and frequent rewards while in an expedition.
Been playing this game for five years. It used to be fun and what we would do for the long hours that insomnia plagued us each night. Inno recently changed Guild Expeditions to where you get stupid, useless GE level buildings instead of diamonds as rewards in levels 1-3 with no hope of getting diamonds until level 4 where before you could fairly regularly get a few in 1-3. Used to be that in most of the events, if you were consistent, you could get a fully upgraded building. Now, no matter how hard you try in any of them, you have to shell out thousands of diamonds or serious real life cash to have any hope of getting the fully upgraded event buildings. We have had friends that have been playing Forge for 10+ years leave because of this b.s. We have gone from playing almost nightly in 10 worlds to being on maybe 1-2 night a week because it just isnt worth our time anymore. Gone back to reading at night or playing solitaire. Inno can go sit on a flagpole for the upgrades and changes it has made. Just as the major video game developers are learning to their financial pain, we and many, many others are not interested in pay to win games. We are taking our interest and money elsewhere.
Why are all the previews in portrait orientation but the game plays in landscape?
We were really enjoying this game until we spent a significant amount of time building up certain resources only to have the game force us to pay for diamonds after we already payed for the upgrade with resources.
